contributions to Chris O'Neill's

[edit]

I appreciate your contributions to Chris O'Neill's wikipedia page, but you need to provide sources for the information you've added under "Channels". I've removed that section for now, especially since the article is already nominated for deletion - if you can provide sources for that information then feel free to bring it back to the article. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of fictional towns in animation
added links pointing to Washington, New York, Georgia and Kamino

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Izuku Midoriya concept art omake.webp. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:29, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thanks for trying to add to the article, but the added material from the "Onion" doesn't mention Brianna Ghey's homicide, as far as I can tell. To try to work it into the article would be prohibited by WP:OR. So would you please revert your edits there? Thanks. Ward20 (talk) 21:42, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Pinoccappuccino. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of Undertale characters".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 22:39, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit doesn't help

[edit]

The edits you incorporated on Draft:Primos (TV series) do not help, when it comes to the controversy. In addition, considering the reception was primarily on social media, it is wrong to say it was "mostly negative". If we are to be neutral, the BEST we can say is a mixed reception, and note some of those criticisms. That's it. Furthermore, insidethemagic.net is not a reliable source, and the use of tweets and instagram posts doesn't help, as they are self-published sources. I'll take a look some others you added, but this needs to be handled VERY carefully, so as to not inflame existing posts on social media, and your addition did not do that, in the slightest. I see you've added a bunch of anniversaries of events to days of the year articles but the events don't have an article about them. While these things may be significant happenings, the WP:DOY project established WP:EVENTDOY a while ago. The fourth bullet in WP:DOYSTYLE also applies. Unless there is an article specifically about the event and it is significant, it shouldn't be added to DOY articles.

It would be better if you reverted your additions yourself. I undid two of them but realized there are quite a few.

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
