User talk:PascalleWongAFoe
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, PascalleWongAFoe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:04, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Paid/COI
[edit]Hello PascalleWongAFoe. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:PascalleWongAFoe. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PascalleWongAFoe|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --VVikingTalkEdits 21:03, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- I am NOT paid for this edit. I clicked that option by mistake because I am getting really confused. The page is correct on nl.wikipedia/emil lee, yet when translated to english it translates to: EmilY Lee!!! This is the reason i am trying al options to correct this. This is NOT paid. It is just a correction. PascalleWongAFoe (talk) 18:23, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification.
- Please explain Pascalle Wong-A-Foe is a web designer, graphic designer and digital communications officer, working independently for a company called Studiowow and the relationship between Studiowow and Emil Lee
- "Emily Lee" is irrelevant to this conversation. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:28, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Note that "Emily Lee"" does not appear in your contributions record. Perhaps you may wish to explain further? 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:30, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Please clarify further My clients wikipedia page is on nl.wikipedia and needs to either be linked to en.wkikipedia or transferred to and english new page as the language should be changed in english and my client should be found on english pages."
- It is a reasonable assumption that a client is a person who retains someone to do something for them. You will forgive me if I find that this contradicts I am NOT paid for this edit and that Wikipedia requires further explanation. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:37, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, I am a graphic designer on the a small island of Sint Maarten, I didn't know that the word CLIENT would get me into this trouble, I offered to help Mr. Emil Lee to translate his page from Dutch to English, unrelated to the design services I do for him. I understand the confusion because Sint Maarten is a Dutch island, however spoken language is English, therefore why should I not be able to make this change? [edit]Creation of duplicate drafts
[edit]Please do not create duplicate drafts. Concentrate only on Draft:Emil Lee. Duplicating drafts is seen as an attempt to game the system, and is disruptive editing 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:33, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit] As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:PascalleWongAFoe, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PascalleWongAFoe|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:37, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:21, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Timtrent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to User:Einahr/Politician in the Philippines have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. It is at best unusual to edit a page in another's user space unless it has been submitted for review. You may wish to explain, please. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:32, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

- Hi I am a web designer and play padel at the padel club. One of my players asked me to assist in this matter due to the fact that I am supposed to be computer savvy, however this seems to be more tedious than expected. His name translates from Emil Lee to Emily Lee (his page has been created on nl.wiki) but we speak english in Sint Maarten and when pressing translate page in Google it goes to "Emily Lee". I am NOT getting paid, I just want to clear this up, what is my next step? 2803:7380:F717:0:50AD:EA5F:595F:9D73 (talk) 16:40, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
