Crazy Love discussions

Hi, I noticed that you reverted my edit, and the edit is legal as the series will be available on Disney+ instead of iQiyi. The announcement has been made by Disney+ Singapore which can be refer from the link here. Give me a reply if there is something wrong with my edit. Thanks. =)TheRubyP (talk) 04:11, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

@TheRubyP As per Korean source, it's iQiYi originals. Streaming in just a single location in Singapore, is no big deal that warrants mentions as per MOS:TVINTL. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 04:23, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Question

I plan to create a discussion on a talk page, but I don't know how to make rfc, can you help me? —Ctrlwiki (talk) 14:29, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

@Ctrlwiki Just follow the instructions here, first edit page, create new section heading, after which add the {{rfc}} template redirectly below the new section heading, and below the rfc template, add your rationale, and sign it. And also, as I'm not sure which the talk page you're referring to and why, you would like to read through WP:RFC first if you have not done so. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:50, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Apologies

Hello, I hope you're well. I would like to apologise for how I responded to you recently. While this doesn't excuse how I handled things, I was under a lot of stress within my personal life and I let that affect my behaviour while editing. I really don't think anything was wrong with your image reverts, I just got into my head and let things annoy me that really weren't even a big deal. I think my way of reverting your message to my talk page was my way of stepping away from it. Again, I apologise for how I handled things. Alex (talk) 12:08, 1 March 2022 (UTC)

You deleted a sincere message explaining why I removed information from an article. If you refuse to acknowledge a civil message I will have to notify an external mediator. sl (talk) 11:37, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

@Slashlefty Feel free to report me to whoever you like then as I'm allowed to remove discussion from my own talk page per WP:BLANKING as it doesn't concern any serious matters and my conscience is clean. I don't see a valid reasons to reply to you because I'm not wrong, neither is your reasoning is correct as what you termed it as "WP:TRIVIA" exists in other articles which I'm not going to tell you where (have fun digging) neither I'm going to revert your incorrect edit (the current revision) to G-Dragon and I'm leaving it to other regulars to do it instead as I'm not interested in WP:EDITWARRING, maybe you are. And finally, don't even try to WP:HOUND me around like you did to CtrlWiki and Btspurplegalaxy and other editors/admins previously just because of some small issues that oppose against, I know the entire situation at ANI (and seen the previous discussion concerning you) in short telling you that I'm not some "headless chicken". Fixing archiving errors

Hi! I noticed that you fixed the archiving settings on Talk:Non-resident Indian and Overseas Citizen of India. However, if you do something like that, please make sure that any old archives are also moved to the new title (as I just did). Otherwise, the bot will start archiving to a new page, while the old page is still around somewhere, resulting in a split archive. Thanks! --rchard2scout (talk) 08:51, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

@Rchard2scout Understood, thanks you for the heads up. Regards, Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:09, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

I don't think my edits were wrong.

I don't think Nmixx's Ad Mare has one song, it has two songs. O.O and Tank. You seemed to have removed that song on the Ad Mare wiki. I'm just a bit confused on this matter. Our_Princess (talk) 14:37, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

This is quite short, but ignore what I said on your talk, I just realised I did post misinformation. Thank you. Our_Princess (talk) 14:41, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
@Aleeza2018 (edit conflict) Firstly, your edit to Nmixx is incorrect, you added song into the single albums table meant for single albums releases only. Regardless, if you added in the correct table or not, we (on English Wikipedia) only lists lead singles under the singles table, and subsequently release from an album (regardless of type) are only listed if it has charted on any charts under WP:GOODCHARTS. Secondly, on Ad Mare's infobox, only the list the lead single, hence again, you edit is incorrect, neither has reliable secondary news source stated/reported that Ad Mare would consists of two lead singles, it only reported/stated "O.O" as the lead single while "Tank" as the second track which again, we don't list second track or subsequently track if applicable in the Infobox unless the second track or subsequently track was previously pre-released, again this must be stated/reported by reliable secondary news source as "pre-release". Help with Commons

Hi, I just uploaded File:Haechan at the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards.png on Commons but I'm not very familiar with it so I'm not sure if I put the right licensing. Could you please check it out? Thank you so much! Poirot09 (talk) 15:29, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

@Poirot09 The photo (which is screenshot from the YouTube video) is not licensed under Creative Commons licensing hence it cannot be uploaded onto Commons nor Wikipedia which in turn means not applicable for usage on Wikipedia. I believe another user has tagged the image as copyright violation hence it will be deleted soon if it hasn't been. You can only uploaded photo that are screenshot from YouTube video if the videos is licensed under Creative Commons licensing, you would find the licensing information under the video's description as "Creative Commons Attribution license (reuse allowed)" or you can copy the video's title onto the YouTube search box, search it, click Filters, click Creative Commons, those filtered results are licensed under Creative Commons licensing hence you can screenshot and upload them however do take of license laundering. License laundering applies to not just photo screenshot from YouTube videos but all forms of photos regardless of the source. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 16:05, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
@Paper9oll Yeah, I saw the tag, thank you for the explanation, I kinda just assumed that all Dispatch videos could be used since I saw many South Korean-related articles use screenshots from those. Poirot09 (talk) 16:11, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Question about article

Hi! I saw your welcome message and I have to say that it's like God sent you. I want to write an article about a Korean musician, called LØREN. I saw that you know about Korean stuff so I thought you might also know about sites that are reliable in these subjects. Anyway, I've gathered some information and I wanted an expert to tell me if they are reliable and if I use them if my article will be notable and don't be deleted. A problem is that he has been active as a singer the last 2 years, and as a consequence, there aren't a lot of sources. The sites are:

(There is also a page from FamousBirthdays that unfortunately I can't put here)

Please answer me soon. Thank you for your time!Fisforfenia (talk) 13:37, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

@Fisforfenia Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. I'm not expert lol just interested in Korean topics but anyway ... so I have look through the above sources. Only the following sources are considered reliable:
  1. Vice (2nd source)
  2. Rolling Stone India (4th source)
  3. Bandwagon Asia (6–7th source. Acceptable but if possible, find a better source)
The rest of the sources (excluding Billboard and NME which isn't relevant given that it's about Blackpink instead of Loren) are unreliable sources as they're WP:SPS and/or under WP:KO/RS#UR. For Korean Wikipedia, we cannot use Wikipedia (regardless of languages) as sources as per WP:CIRCULAR. For starting your first article, you want to look at WP:FIRSTARTICLE, then WP:NPERSON to ensure it meets the person requirements, followed by WP:NSINGER since Loren is singer. Release history sections should have a date column

See MOS:ALBUM for how these sections are generally laid out. The date column is always there. I don't know why you're saying the date column is unnecessary when dates and time are what the word "history" refers to. It is not supposed to be a listing of formats bereft of dates. If you don't want a date column, remove the entire table because then it's not a representation of the history of the release of the album. If you don't think the date column should be present, then rename the entire section "Release formats" because that's all you're listing—except don't, because "release formats" sections are not a thing. This has to be one of the silliest and strangest editing decisions I've seen you make. Ss112 02:54, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

@Ss112 I just find it redundant given that lead and Infobox which is the first thing most if not everyone see already mentioned it. Redundant in a sense that since the release for all formats were on the same day. But WP:RELEASEHISTORY wording and example is also quite ambiguous, while true that history means time ... but anyway, I guess I just ignore it and add it into my future creation anyway even if I feel it's redundant. @MotherofSnakes It's not the same information if you read properly of which you didn't. Hint "introduce the album" ... meaning "Tomboy" is included as well. And btw, that sentence structure is the essentially the same template/boilerplate that I've reused/repurposed for several articles that I have created to name few "DM", "INVU", "Dilemma", "Run2U" of which I believed/assumed that you've copied from either which (not saying you can't copied it since Wikipedia is licensed under Creative Commons ShareAlike 3.0 which doesn't forbid copying) since no ones else actually wrote it that way nor included such as they're only found in articles I've created. Anyway ... I'm saying the sentence is NOT BROKEN either is it wrong to repeat relevant information. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:03, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

Red Velvet EP article title

Hi! What is the right title for Red Velvet's new EP? The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm or The ReVe Festival 2022: Feel My Rhythm? Our edits for the album are constantly clashing due to differences from article title? For now, the article that has information is The ReVe Festival 2022: Feel My Rhythm, but references and citations state that it should be The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm or The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm. Thank you!ReVeluv02 (talk) 06:25, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

@ReVeluv02 I think Ss112 has answered your query. The correct title is The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm as per official sources and secondary news sources. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:57, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
For clarification and to avoid confusion, I believe SM uses The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm as per RV latest Instagram post but because this is Wikipedia, we need to replace the hyphen (dash) with en-dash as per WP:ENDASH (which also applies to article title) instead hence it will become The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:01, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
I moved the articles around several minutes before this. As I pointed out in a thread on the talk page, I defaulted to a colon because I thought the consistency in sources was somewhat unclear (some used a hyphen, some used the correct en dash, some threads on Twitter and so on were using a colon in line with the 2019 ReVe releases), and when we're unsure which punctuation to use, we generally go with a more straight-forward colon. Ss112 07:08, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
@Ss112 Similar to my reply on the article's talk page, the current title is correct and inline with official sources and secondary news sources. For the 2019 trilogy, the title is more ambiguous because SM didn't utilize any dash or colon but simply just referring it as The ReVe Festival Day 1[13], The ReVe Festival Day 2[14], and The ReVe Festival Finale[15] but since this time around, they used dash which we swapped for en-dash to comply with WP:ENDASH, not much headache on which title (en-dash or colon) is actually use. Removal of Dreamus label for infoboxes and tables

Hi @Paper9oll! Good evening and sorry for the interrupting your precious time. :) Previously, user Ss112 (won't be wikilinking the user) told me that Dreamus is a distributor and not a label. The user also told to stop putting in the label parameters of tables and infoboxes (which the user has a point). What's your opinion about this? I can't really decides since having both Dreamus and not putting it as well seem correct for both situation(s). Thank you so much for your help as always! :)ReVeluv02 (talk) 13:20, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

@ReVeluv02 Hi good evening, not sure though. From my understanding, it has been on literally every single SM-related releases since I'm not sure when (I started editing heavily from 2020 around Aespa pre-debut period) and since then, I have seen Dreamus in the most (if not all) SM-related releases articles. If including Dreamus is Infobox is incorrect, I believe it can be included in Release history instead. Maybe, you re-clarify with him since this is quite sudden (as in no issues all the while) and I'm surprised as well. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:34, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

Concerns

  • Hi! Did you recently saw the article you made, Feel My Rhythm? User Ss112 (would not be tagging for a reason) removed Dreamus on both labels from the infobox and release history. The user keeps on removing Dreamus stating that the company is a distributor. Then that will mean a lot of articles (mostly from SM and JYP) would remove Dreamus from the labels on singles, albums, and songs. I previously raised this concern but the user seems to mainly focus on changing it for The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm and Feel My Rhythm, not the older releases. This would also mean a lot of work to remove all Dreamus from labels. As I previously raised the same concern, I do agree with you that there were "no issues all the while" until recently.
  • When putting charts from Hits of the World, what format should I use? Like for Philippines Songs, should I use Philippine Songs or Philippines? Singapore Songs or Singapore?
  • Not a concern: Sorry for asking too much. You're one of the only reliable users I could talk these things with the same interest. Thank you so much! :)ReVeluv02 (talk) 02:14, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
@ReVeluv02 Yes, I noticed that as well for Dreamus. You can ask him why that's if the case because I don't see why it was removed from the mentioned articles but not for tons of others. For Hits of the World, you can for example, link to Philippines Songs as redirect (linking to Hits of the World also works) and pipe it as Philippines. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 05:44, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Double standard?

The other day, on (G)I-dle discography, I noticed you said "not sure why it (the columns you removed) was included with TBA, isn't this assumption"...and just now on Red Velvet discography you put a TBA template as if you expect "Rainbow Halo" to chart on the Gaon chart. While there's a good chance it will, we still don't know this for sure. Isn't that assumption? I don't understand the double standard. It would be a lot better if you applied the same standard to all articles you edit. Ss112 12:26, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

@Ss112 Sorry for the misunderstanding, it's not double standard that I'm applying. For (G)I-dle discography is because, I Never Die did not charted in the then listed TBA charts yet, which was I removed it because it's pointless to list them since there's only 1 studio album to date which is I Never Die. Whereas for Red Velvet discography, other charted songs table to be exact, it's because there are already more than handful of songs already included in that table, hence I put TBA instead which seemingly is the common practice used for lead singles that has not been released and/or released but yet to chart, hence I'm apply the same common practice for "Rainbow Halo" since it charted on K-pop Hot 100 but not for US World hence the em-dash whereas Gaon Digital yet to be released. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:38, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
TBA is understandable for singles in that section, but I never see it done for charting tracks. Ss112 12:48, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
@Ss112 Erm okay, if so, what should be the TBA alternative for charting tracks for future situation similar to "Rainbow Halo" where it charted on Billboard charts first before the release of Gaon Digital. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:53, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
Dashes, as we don't know if it will chart or not, as they're album tracks. TBA is really only a thing with K-pop articles anyway—it doesn't need to be done at all. Outside of K-pop articles, the TBA template/"To be released" span is usually replaced with dashes in each of the columns when something is released as there's no guarantees anything will chart. Ss112 13:35, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
@Ss112 Okay noted, thanks you. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:38, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

Reliable source

Hi, do you know if this is a reliable source for album sales in China? Thank you in advance! Poirot09 (talk) 13:26, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

@Poirot09 As per this and this discussions, it's not recommended for use. As China doesn't really has its own WP:GOODCHARTS, most (if not all) of them are music streaming services, hence they're in the WP:SINGLEVENDOR category but I believe there's an exception applied for China sales (unless I'm wrong) as they are listed individually for example with BTS singles discography and Blackpink discography which is what Carlobunnie ("replace them w the direct sales links") is referring to in the first linked discussion. @Muatsem90 As mentioned in the edit summary, wait for reliable source (can be tvN's official source and/or news source) to be available even if it was previously uploaded by tvN themselves. As they deleted hours later on not just Twitter, it may means that there are incorrect information and/or video was uploaded accidentally and/or video was uploaded too early hence wait for reliable sources to be publish, there is no rush to include it now, the article will still be there, we should/must not include WP:SPECULATION. Why is Soompi on the unreliable list?

I have been a regular Soompi reader for a long time, they report on Korean entertainment news, they list their sources at the end of the page and usually have an official tweet/press release in their articles. I don't think I've ever seen them post anything fake/false. They do have a forum attached to their site, but it's separated from the main/news portion of the site. Many popular stars have given exclusive interviews to the site, including video interviews, exclusive content, etc. Why are they still on the "unreliable sources" list for Wikipedia? Can you give me examples of them posting false information? Also, they are often the only English source for certain information.Wekimekifan (talk) 08:39, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

@Wekimekifan Hi, welcome to English Wikipedia. Soompi is considered as unreliable source as per WP:KO/RS#UR and also based on consensus achieved in previous discussions at WT:KO (search through the archives as the talkpage is archived automatically by bot frequently). If you're unhappy about such, there is nothing I can do about it as this is community-level consensus, please direct your queries pertaining to such at WT:KO instead. Thanks!!Fisforfenia (talk) 13:38, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

@Fisforfenia I don't think there is a converter available for Hangul to Hanja, I only come across Hangul to RR and Hangul to MR only. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 04:22, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

MINZY's Latest edit

hello, I just want to say that MINZY's Wikipedia page is so outdated. So, as part of her fan page admins, I updated it with a lot of reference that we can see in social media. Those edits are 100 percent true, I'm just updating her profile. Thank you Blackjack211 (talk) 15:13, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

@Blackjack211 Hi, welcome to English Wikipedia, your edits is incorrect as it's not written in neutral point of view, contains WP:TRIVIA, contains inappropriate external links, and bunch of manual of style issues such as incorrect usage of bold. In addition, your edits is also majoritively unsourced which violates WP:VERIFY and/or contains WP:UNRELIABLESOURCE (See WP:KO/RS#UR and/or WP:RS/P and also search through WP:RSPMISSING before usage). Furthermore, you also added bunch of copyright violation images, please read up on WP:IUP regarding the usage of images on English Wikipedia (this also applies to other languages projects within the Wikimedia Foundation) and also take note of license laundering which is not permitted as well. Lastly, please also read up on what English Wikipedia is not and WP:GUIDELINES. Regardless if your edits are 100 percent true or not, this is NOT the correct way to update any article on English Wikipedia, the current revision of Minzy is written in the correct way regardless of it being outdated or not, what you should be doing is scan through how the current revision is written, referenced the writing style, and add the new information accordingly. Use of a copyrighted image

Hi, from what I read it's possible to use a copyrighted image to make commentary but should it be a screenshot made by me or can i use the first image at [30] since it's not their own work? I think it's relevant to the section Business Proposal#Critical response. Thank you! Poirot09 (talk) 22:43, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

@Poirot09 Hi, it depends actually, but I have never actually seen screenshot of a actual work used in television series' article before, do you happened to have seen one? I only know, WP:NFCC has been used for commentary purpose to support the Music video section of song's article (excluding the cover image) like Next Level (Aespa song)#Music video to name 1 example, other than that I have never come across non-song articles having NFCC for commentary purposes. As for whether, you can use the first image in the linked Naver article, I would assumed is no, because the actual scene is just a single screen instead of split screen hence that's actually 2 scene that they merged into one for their article, so kind of their own work. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 01:43, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
@Paper9oll I hadn't seen it before but I searched through some good articles and I found some examples (The Legend of Korra, Pilot (The Office)) so I think it can be done. Poirot09 (talk) 12:45, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
@Poirot09 Alright then, but what exactly are you adding it for? How will the image you planned to add have any relation to the content, meaning why and how it will enhance the article and/or the section? Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:05, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
@Paper9oll At Business Proposal#Critical response I wrote a section about how the drama deals with molka and I'm also planning to write one for the way they use animated effects as a reference to the original webtoon and to make fun of all the tropes used (I've found sources). I think adding the scene where through animated effects they show Young-seo going through trauma (all the spy cams looking at her) it's a good way to represent how the drama keeps a light tone while dealing with some topics more seriously. I'd have to check if there's a clearer scene though, because I'm not sure if with just one still it's understandable. If I don't find anything I might just avoid adding photos to that section and keep to the more common press photos for the production. Poirot09 (talk) 13:32, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
@Poirot09 Erm ... okay, doesn't seem necessary in my opinion. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:14, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
@Paper9oll Should it be absolutely necessary? Tbh most of the photos added in similar articles don't seem necessary and I thought this was a little more interesting than the usual actor picture. Oh well I'll just add the normal ones. Poirot09 (talk) 15:25, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

BTS proof album

I ask you to stop giving me 'disruptive editing warnings' when the edits are factual and even the references put in the first version follow that the Album is an Anthology, described as such by the own groups agencyNoturbusiness98 (talk) 12:37, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

@Noturbusiness98 As mentioned earlier in the edit summary with this diff where I told you to WP:BRD, of which you refused to listen and continued with your disruptive editing matching WP:DISRUPTSIGNS point 1, 4 and 6, of which that landed you with 3 warnings. The correct behavior is to STOP once any editor told you to WP:BRD. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 12:43, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

ABO

https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABO_(%E7%94%B7%E5%AD%90%E5%9C%98%E9%AB%94) It is already established in other page, but sadly I cannot find your "reliable" source to add three alphabet into the page. Perhaps you can add once you discover the valid source. Or can just put official Youtube channel as source? angys (Talk Talk) 17:10, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

@*angys* No source means no inclusion per WP:BURDEN. And what other Wikimedia projects does isn't of any concern to English Wikipedia, they have their own sets of guidelines/policies which is non-related, we have our own sets of guidelines/policies which is also non-related. Proof cover

Hello, I want to tell you that the album cover is a simple geometric stylized "PROOF" so it is in the public domain. 2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 (talk) 10:55, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

@2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 As per WP:NFCI #1 and WP:NFC#UUI #2, album cover is considered as non-free content, hence not sure how on earth you even come to that conclusion just because it has geometric shapes as part of the album cover design, it's considered as licensed under public domain, simply ridiculous. I have never come across album cover on English Wikipedia that is licensed under public domain, in fact a quick search using Wikipedia:PetScan (with categories filled with "Album covers" without quotation and Has any of these templates filled with either "Public domain" or "Public domain 2" without quotation) returning 0 results, while searching using the same tool (with categories filled with "Album covers" without quotation and Has any of these templates filled with either "Non-free use rationale 2" or "Non-free use rationale" or "Non-free use rationale album cover") returning a total of 38,880 results, 138,699 results, and 125,791 results, respectively, as of 9:15 PM (SGT). Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:17, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
Did you read the album cover? It is "PROOF" stylized as trapezoids. The Dynamite cover is in public domain because the Dynamite cover is simple geometric shapes and text. 2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 (talk) 13:30, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
@2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 Talking you??? What do you even meant by "Did you read the album cover"??? Read what, that's an image, what on earth you expected me to read??? As for Dynamite cover being licensed as public domain, there is a possible that it's being overlook. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:52, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
That is a stylized text, that is "PROOF". 2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 (talk) 14:00, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
@2001:448A:708C:1EB2:E851:2C3A:2402:85D5 Ya ya ya, in your fantasy land. This is English Wikipedia btw, not some social media and/or forum in which Wikipedia is not a social networking service nor forum where you can published your original thought. In addition, it also comes to my attention that your discussion with Carlobunnie here also comes down to nothing of which she mentioned that she would rather believe experienced editor rather than IP, my answer is the same as her, unless you can provide evidence such as an discussion supported by experienced editor (instead of newly registered editor due to possible WP:MEATPUPPET) that overrules WP:NFCI and WP:NFC#UUI, the file's licensing will stands as it is. Stylizations

Hi. What Doomsdayer520 said on The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One is true: Stylization notes are not important most of the time. Readers know The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One and the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one are the same thing, and such "stylisations" are hardly ever consistent anyway. Sources out there will basically never uniformly stylise a title or an artist's name. Only when we start getting into more complex substitutions (like symbols for letters, or extra characters being included, like on Bon Iver's album 22, a Million) do stylisation notes become included. They have become so prolific on music articles because they started being a trend for music editors to add them to the leads of 2010s pop songs articles—it doesn't mean it's right that the trend ever caught on. I also want to say that you not having seen other users taking issue with these unnecessary notes doesn't mean they should be there or should be included. I have seen plenty of editors across the editing spectrum removing them over the past couple of years. A good rule of thumb here is if the only "stylisation" is "the title is in lower case" or "the title is in all caps", it's probably not worth noting. Ss112 14:30, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Franky speaking, not sure what to reply but I still do it anyway. The trend isn't actually stuck to just post 2010s music-related articles but also on other category like BLP articles, not quite sure on western BLP ones but is certainly for eastern BLP, just saying. To be frank, I don't really follow western music-related articles and BLP articles but still listen to English songs, just wasn't interested in contributing to the articles due to certain circumstances like writing styles, etc, but doesn't really matter.
Tldr, I don't really agreed with such, as it isn't just a trend on songs/albums article but also on other categories like BLP, companies, products, etc. For clarity, I'm not saying I'm going to revert/restore the changes for The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One despite not agreed to the differences in views.
