Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Calvin Kadi, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 09:40, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there PANOS, AL from Portugal here,

don't know where you got your stuff to this player's article but many things are wrong: 1 - if he was all those years on loan he could NEVER make 95 appearances for Valencia B (in story you say 95 but in box you even have more, 127); 2 - he did not play with Valencia first team officially; 3 - the storyline is supposed to be something more than a duplicate of the infobox, and we don't write stuff like "stunning", "spectacular", etc, etc, especially without references; 4 - he is not a Spanish U21 international.

If you look at one of the new links i added to the article (BDFUTBOL.com), you will see i am correct about his stats in Spain. I am going to keep cleaning this article up, happy weekend and happy editing --AL (talk) 00:25, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • OK after doing some mathemathics i think he played FOUR seasons with Valencia B, so he could have played those 95 games you say, i have put it back in his box :) --AL (talk) 13:16, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Inside Out (Bon Jovi Album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. FunkyCanute (talk) 17:00, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Michael Olaitan, without verifying it by citing reliable sources. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Olaitan moved to Greece in 2011 according to Goal News [1]. This is confirmed by Veria's announcement, dated 10 February 2011 (and thanks to the redesign of the club's website, the link now gives a 404 error). Olaitan's neighbor/glover/secret lover is not a reliable source. Kosm1fent 08:30, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Olaitan's caps/goals

[edit]

Greetings PanosBonJovi and a happy new year. The infobox parameters only list appearances/goals in the domestic league, not cup competitions, so it should list 48 appearances. About the goals you are correct; I followed Soccerway, which doesn't list Olaitan's goal in this Kalloni vs. Veria match, so it should list 10 goals. Cheers. Kosm1fent 10:20, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Haha. For the same game, Nova claims Yoann Langlet was the scorer [2]... Kosm1fent 10:28, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Transfermarkt isn't the most reliable source out there (we've had some troubles with false information before), but this one they probably got right, as the general consensus amongst the articles I looked seems to report Olaitan as scorer. Cheers. Kosm1fent 11:49, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hello PanosBonJovi, I'm writing about a recent edit that you made to Pablo Gabriel García, which I reverted. I'm not sure that you intended to make the edit, which added "PABLO YOU LIVE, FOREVER PAOK!" to the page, but, as you're a regular, I'm assuming good faith. Given that you have an established history with positive edits, I just wanted to give you the courtesy of a heads-up regarding your edit. Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns! Your recent editing history at Bon Jovi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
This is not a forum to vent out your refusal to accept Sambora's departure. Your edits, as well as your username, suggest a strong conflict of interest. Please stop or you'll end up blocked. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 03:31, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Players

[edit]

Hi Panos, I noticed you added back a list of Notable Players that I had removed earlier. Such listings should not be included in articles without clear inclusion criteria (such as more than x appearances or y goals) so they do not generate into subjective listings, as per. Football Clubs Article Manual of Style. Please don't add this list back without clear and verifiable inclusion criteria. Thanks, Fenix down (talk) 12:58, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dumitru

[edit]

Well, where is the source? I could not find anything related to this move in any of the official parties (http://www.veriafc.gr/ or Napoli website http://www.sscnapoli.it/web/content_2cols.aspx?did=162), and no mention whatsoever anywhere in the Internet: the only links I found are the edits of yours at Wikipedia... [3]. --Angelo (talk) 18:34, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That is not enough. WP:RS, to say it short: multiple reliable sources are needed. And neither Napoli nor Veria have announced this, there's no mention of his name in the Greek club's squad [4], plus there was literally no mention at all of this bid in Italy (which sounds pretty weird), and even the source you passed me doesn't assert the fact such move was actually completed and formalized. If and when it becomes official, then you can edit, but not before. --Angelo (talk) 16:57, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Georgios Vasileiadis, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. 2018–19 Veria F.C. season moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2018–19 Veria F.C. season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve 2022–23 Super League Greece 2

[edit]

Hello, PanosBonJovi,

Thank you for creating 2022–23 Super League Greece 2.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article is missing prose, which means it fails notability for sports seasons. League and Division season articles should consist mainly of well-sourced prose, not just statistics and lists of players. Wikipedia is not a stats directory. See WP:NSEASONS for guidance. Failing this notability guide, this article may be redirected to the main League or Division page. An example is LSU Tigers football Another excellent example is 2022–23 North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Whiteguru:
Dear Whiteguru, thank you for taking the time to review the 2022–23 Super League Greece 2 article. I'm aware of the issues available right now and I'd be more than happy to address those once the championship draw takes places so everything will be made available. As of now I'll be able to add the results sections as well since it seems that I forgot about that part. I based it on the previous season's page 2021–22 Super League Greece 2.
Kind regards

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022–23 Veria NFC season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AEL FC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
