Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Oscar Hugh La Grange, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fulton, New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Melvin Perry (Wisconsin)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Melvin Perry (Wisconsin) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tinton5 (talk) 20:57, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

I was shocked to see an experienced editor like you creating article titles with shouting. See this edit if you don't know what I'm talking about. We don't even use capital letters on shipwreck or schooner. Some people might argue that these articles should have titles of "Foo shipwreck site" but since each one begins with "Foo was a ship …", I think a simple ship name as the title is OK. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:53, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
The article Dennis M. Johnson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Doesn't meet military guidelines per WP:MILPEOPLE. Unfortunately, dying in the September 11th attacks is also not notable.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 08:17, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Town of Milwaukee Town Hall
Hi-in Glendale, Wisconsin, the Town of Milwaukee Town Hall is a museum and is on the NRHP list. I think there is a photo somewhere in Wikipedia. The town hall was for the old town of Milwaukee in the 19th century. Could you start an article please? Thank you-RFD (talk) 13:33, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
NRHP article ratings
I believe I've mentioned this to you before, but when you create NRHP articles, it would be nice if you would tag the talk pages with {{WikiProject National Register of Historic Places|class=stub|importance=low}}
. I have been busy for the past month or so and haven't been able to get on Wikipedia, but when I got back, I was met by around 60 of your new, untagged articles. It appears you are tagging them as low importance but leaving the stub part out. Every single article you have created has been a stub, and it doesn't look like you plan to expand them at all, so it would be beneficial to everyone in the project (WP:NRHP) if you could tag these as you create them. Thank you for your contributions to the project.--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 17:15, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
The article George Winslow has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. joe deckertalk to me 03:50, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- The article you originally created is now at George Winslow (American football). The surviving George Winslow article is now about the actor of the same name, since he seems to be a better-known person. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 03:50, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Isham Day House
Hi, thanks for starting article Isham Day House. I notice it in a bot-generated list of new NRHP articles. It looks great as a start. I think you might have hand-constructed the NRHP infobox included in the article. You might want to consider using editor Elkman's tool for generating NRHP infoboxes, following a link from here to get a cut-and-paste ready one, with more fields filled out, for your use in future articles. I'm gonna expand the nrhp infobox using that, in the Isham Day House article right now. cheers, --doncram 23:56, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -War wizard90 (talk) 00:39, 30 April 2015 (UTC)

Wisconsin Legislators and political parties
Hi-I noticed you are removing the political parties affliations of Wisconsin legislators from the articles. Is there a reason for this? They should be kept in. Please revert your edits on these articles. Many thanks-RFD (talk) 19:25, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Wisconsin legislators and political parties
Hi-I notice you are still removing the political parties affliations from the Wisconsin legislators articles and no reasons were given. Please stop these edits and revert the edits you had made. And please explain why you are doing this. Thank you-RFD (talk) 10:58, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- I notice in the new articles you started on the Wisconsin Legislators, you included their political parties; yet, you removed the political parties from other articles. Please explained why you are doing this. Thank you-RFD (talk) 12:49, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- That is an absolute basic fact about any officeholder elected in a partisan election (i.e., all of the ones you removed it from) and should always be in the articles. This is simply not acceptable behavior. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:46, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Wisconsin Legislators political party
Again I am asking you not to remove the political affliations from the Wisconsin Legislators articles. You have not provided any clear reason for doing this. And you have started new articles about Wisconsin Legislators that included their political party affliations. This makes this an unusual and illogical situation. Therefore, please stop doing this-thank you-RFD (talk) 13:27, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Joseph Sweda
Many thanks for adding the obituary to the Joseph Sweda article! Good catch!RFD (talk) 13:51, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- My apologies-someone else put the obituary in. I misread the edit history-RFD (talk) 17:49, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
The Political Graveyard as a source
The Political Graveyard has been discussed a number of times at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard (see: [1] and [2]) and the consensus seems to be that because of lack of editorial oversight, it's probably not a reliable source, although it may be included as an external link. So please find a better source for your political bio stubs. 32.218.39.36 (talk) 19:32, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Find A Grave is not a reliable source
Find A Grave is not a reliable source. This has been discussed numerous times at the Reliable Sources noticeboard. (See [3], for example.) It is also listed at WP:ELPEREN as a perennial website that is user-generated with lack of editorial oversight, making it not a reliable source. Please stop using Find A Grave as a source for information in articles. It may be used as an external link. 32.218.47.68 (talk) 15:42, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Cornish politicians
I see no benefit from this. DuncanHill (talk) 23:01, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Milton F. Burmaster
You removed the Members of the Wisconsin State Assembly category from the Milton F. Burmaster article with no reasons given. I had to restore the category to the article. Please provide explanations to changes in articles. This will help the other editors. Thank you-RFD (talk) 12:20, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
- Question - in most categories, if an article is listed in one or more of its subcategories, it should be removed from the main category, from my understanding. Does that apply with Assembly members? Packerfansam (talk) 05:05, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
- The category is to be kept in; this identifies what office the individual had served in. Thank you-RFD (talk) 14:54, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for creating Community House, First Congregational Church. Any idea why this is listed on the NRHP, but not the church building itself? My research shows that this is a historic church, attended by the likes of Orrin Henry Ingram and his son, Erskine B. Ingram. Did the original building burn down?Zigzig20s (talk) 11:08, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- I think it was added because of its architecture. From my understanding the church is still there. I don't know why that itself wouldn't be registered, it would seem to be more significant. Packerfansam (talk) 19:09, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
