Natalie Portman
Ok the changes I have made are minor and more just clean up. I moved the 'year' column to the left row to make it match the other tables plus the upcoming projects on the filmography table there now are wrong, so I corrected them + refs. As for the awards/noms, I found it easier to read and navigate by separating them into two tables, plus if you look at the tables now, some of the films are either wiki linked when they shouldn't be or don't have italics when they should. I cleaned up the theatre table bc one theatre is wiki linked to a non existent page and it shows her as an "under study". All in all, I just corrected, updated, cleaned up and separated her works and awards, so tell me why you insist on reverting it back? thanks :) xx Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 16:09, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- ok so what if I did the edit but keep the awards/nom together and keep the film and tv separate? but everything else just clean up and update? Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 18:23, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- The sourced statements I removed had a dead link. In development projects do belong if they can be verified, which they were. And you don't need to cite an award if it has a wiki link to it.Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 18:44, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ok look, can we agree on the way it is now? I kept your damned tables the same, I just corrected its info, I didn't add any projects in development, I kept the awards/noms together, just corrected a few things. I even added more wiki links to some awards. If you want me to add refs I can, just tell me which ones you want instead of reverting it all back the way it was. it looks alot nicer and cleaner now you have to admit it :) Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 19:34, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, what about the tables did you like before that aren't like it now? And I said I would add refs if you wanted, just tell me which ones you wanted them on, I didn't delete any that didn't have a direct link to the actual awards where it says that she either won or got nominated. DYK for Cognitive_vulnerability
The nomination was rejected because it wasnt increased by five folds. However, the topic has been changed to a brand new topic. If you see its history, it is no longer vulnerability but is now Cognitive_vulnerability. Thus this makes it more eligible for a new topic rather than five fold expansion. I would like to request you to reconsider the nomination. Khyati Gupta (talk) 21:51, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Greetings, as per your request, I have added another hook! kindly reconsider! Khyati Gupta (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:20, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 01:37, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, because neither source makes this statement. It can be deduced from either one, but that might count as original research. I suppose if a reliable source could be found that states clearly that she won four NCAA high jump championships, then a statement to that effect could be made and the source cited.
- Considering the context, the close paraphrasing may or may not be a big deal, but I brought it up just in case.
- New statement and new source look O.K. to me, and I've added a revised assessment to state this. The only remaining issue is the paraphrasing, which I really *don't know* whether it's O.K. or not. I really need another opinion on that. Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 02:10, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Concerns with your Freddie Lindstrom editing
Dear PM800, Your recent addition to Freddie Lindstrom's Wikipedia page contains information that is not accurate. Is there a chance that you could contact me and we could discuss what you wrote? One, you said that Frank Frisch and Bill Terry were responsible for Lindstrom's induction into the baseball Hall of Fame. In fact, Frisch died three years before Lindstrom was named. Terry was so much a croney that he traded Lindstrom to Pittsburgh shortly after Terry was named Giants manager. As for Bill James and his advanced statistics, more commonly known as sabermetrics, his critics including Sheldon Hirsch, Allen Barra in the Wall Street Journal, and Tony LaRussa, long time manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, are just the best known of many. Before I change your additions, I would like to hear from you as to why you put them in at all.

Re: Freddie Lindstrom
PM800, I took your advice of Aug 17,2012 regarding edit changes to Freddie Lindstrom and contacted the supporting footnotes I questioned. Here are the results: footnote 30, correct. footnote 31, Richard Barbieri, Hardball Times, makes no mention of Lindstrom. footnotes 32 and 33, In an e-mail on Aug 24, 2012, Jay Jaffe, Baseball Prospectus, agrees that since Frank Frisch died in 1973, three years before Lindstrom's induction into the Hall of Fame, he could not be the "croneyism" ringleader as charged in the edit. footnote 36, in an e-mail of Oct 5, 2012 Clark Booth (Dorchester Reporter) wrote "I don't have any issue with Fred Lindstrom being in the Hall of Fame. In fact, I argue for more people to be elected, not less. Clearly his enshrinement is much deserved." Finally, in a Bleacher Report on Nov 11, 2011, Dan Popolski ranked Lindstrom 13th on a list of the 15 best third basemen in MLB history. My question to you is: how do we edit your addition to Freddie Lindstrom without it being almost immediately erased, as has already happened? Also, can we add the Bleacher Report without it too being erased? Thanks for your help.74.248.47.55 (talk) 13:39, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

You might as well just remove the tidbits from other GAs and FAs, then. What was the use of hiding her child's gender or name? I do not believe this is an invasion of privacy since we already specified she had a child. Spelling Style (talk) 03:32, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Articles and hooks that focus unduly on negative aspects of living individuals should be avoided
I raised the DYK hook that was approved by you for Alexander Nadj at Wikipedia talk:Did you know, given the DYK requirement that "Articles and hooks that focus unduly on negative aspects of living individuals should be avoided". So this is just a notice and a reminder of that. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 22:36, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

I beg to disagree. Examples abound: warboxes, such as {{Campaignbox Polish–Muscovite War (1605–1618)}}, as well as navboxes for wealth of lower-level country subdivisions. Staszek Lem (talk) 01:02, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
