COI?

[edit]

I'm concerned that the relationship your company (as stated in your own user page bio at User:PBerzinski04/Patrick Berzinski) has with Innovation Strategies (as stated on the company's client list [1]), run by Harold J. Raveché, and your editing of Raveché's article (for instance, this series of edits, which materially change the tone of a critical section of the article) may constitute a conflict of interest. If your company represents Raveché's company, as it appears it does, it would seem irresponsible of you to make significant changes to the article according to the COI policy I linked above. I don't think your edits are necessarily harmful; I just don't know if you should be the one making them. Can you clarify your relationship? --Fru1tbat (talk) 02:43, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Gary Kadi Profile professional sot.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Gary Kadi Profile professional sot.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nick—Contact/Contribs 17:31, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

COI again

[edit]

I noticed that you submitted Draft:Gary Kadi for creation. I also noticed that Mr. Kadi is a client of your PR company, according to the company's website ([2]). I appreciate that you are candid about your relationship to Tranquility49, and by extension your presumed relationship with the subjects of certain articles you edit, but Wikipedia's guideline on conflicts of interest still seems quite clear to me that your edits are at best inadvisable. Can you comment on your relationship with these subjects? Otherwise, I feel obligated to bring these issues to an administrator's attention. --Fru1tbat (talk) 22:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion pending for File:Gary Kadi Profile professional shot.jpg

[edit]

Hello, PBerzinski04. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Gary Kadi Profile professional shot.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:41, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage violation

[edit]

You previously had your Userpaget set up to redirect to User:PBerzinski04/Patrick Berzinski. This is a violation of WP:USERPAGE and in this dif I removed that redirect. If you restore it, I will have the page deleted. Jytdog (talk) 14:38, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the WP:PAID policy and comply with it. That means disclosing each edit you make for pay, naming your employer and the client for each such edit. You also should not be editing directly.

There is a place in Wikipedia for paid editors, but only if they follow the PAID policy. If you have any questions, you can ask me here. Best regards Jytdog (talk) 14:40, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please know that this is not a small thing. If you keep editing without complying with PAID, you may be indefinitely blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 14:41, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:PBerzinski04/Patrick Berzinski, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
