ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Attribution for moving text between articles

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Quarter (United States coin) into Washington quarter. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:55, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to acknowledge your more serious argument second time round. Thank you. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 16:47, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

His reverts to my moving of Polish marka to Polish mark and Finnish markka to Finnish mark feel like they're out of spite. Not saying they are necessarily, just what it feels like. TheCurrencyGuy (talk) 20:47, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Soviet ruble

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Haven't you learned a thing? Now you're attempting to disqualify commentors for no good reason whatsoever and are making wall of text comments that are deliberately difficult to respond to. TheCurrencyGuy (talk) 04:10, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You got into trouble over rOuble? one letter? wow man what else can be more high risk low return than that? awaiting conclusion to your WP:SOCKPUPPETRY and maybe ur inclusion in Wiki's dumbest 100 lol Oppa gangnam psy (talk) 08:09, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Say something like that again to another editor and your block will be extended. Canterbury Tail talk 13:01, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Lighten up on the personal attacks or an administrator 'might' lockup your talkpage, for the duration of your 1-month block. GoodDay (talk) 12:58, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Canterbury Tail @GoodDay hi I acknowledge the ban received but hey I could still talk here! Wow lots to say
1. I'm confident I'll be absolved of WP:SPI - I slept very well, thank you.
2. That guy has IP addresses before securing username. Same city as meatpuppet #1 which starts with M. Curious how fast WP:SPI catches up with my intelligence.
3. (I won't mince words here) if he's truly radicalised as I suspect [2] then yea I'm freaking out & my block could be extended. WP's as bad as socmed but no 'block' buttons, no? My mental health takes precedence over WP:PG and you saw my fight-or-flight instincts. Does WP:IBAN work and can it be arranged ahead of time?
4. Finally, this topic will be for next time: how WP still hasn't blown up while teeming with radicals capable of blowing the earth. I'll Google it for now but pity the WP:ANI frontliners. Thanks for your attention. Oppa gangnam psy (talk) 16:14, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Calling other editors "radicals" is exactly what you shouldn't be doing when blocked for personal attacks. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 17:07, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I'm beginning to accept WP is not for me. Thank you Mr Editor who insisted I do WP:BRD edit edit debate discuss soak soak soak with total online strangers. All this intensive collaboration RFD etc is totally incompatible with my need to stay on-guard online. And you the admins give us the editors no recourse when we sense... radicalism. For the very existence of online danger I was out from groupchats 2010 and out of social media politics 2016 - so this must be it for WP 2022. Someday I'll finally understand the extent of online danger editors and admins are soaked in. Did I just touch a taboo topic no one wants to discuss publicly? Thanks. Oppa gangnam psy (talk) 17:36, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In social media "you are what you post". In WP that's how I assess the environment. And when I see Reichsmarks galore posts then it's a window to the editor's heart. And it seems none of you think I'm entitled to my online fear so let's leave it at that and goodbye. Oppa gangnam psy (talk) 17:44, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The administrators are here to insure that editors don't 'lose their cool' & develop a built-in filter. GoodDay (talk) 19:38, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For continuing to make personal attacks against other editors, even once warned and serving a second block for it, you have been blocked indefinitely. It's quite clear you're not capable of editing in a collegial and collaborative fashion, and unable to accept when your behaviour is out of line.
