19:53:44, 28 April 2016 review of submission by 100.15.68.77

Hello! I'm not requesting a re-review just yet, I understand the need for more objective references on the topic. However, I'm wondering what the difference between a page like this one and Frank Duke's page are, in terms of source material? Both pull information from three separate sources, and they have comparable discographies and notable work with other prominent musicians.

Hi - that's an argument called other stuff exists, and doesn't really apply. Onel5969 TT me 19:48, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

When compared with her roommate from the same season of The Real World (Erika Lauren Wasilewski), Ashley has more credits and more press coverage. We will add more references, but the question of notability is inconsistent. Please explain the discrepancy and if you could assist in referencing, it would be greatly appreciated.

(ShafferAgency (talk) 16:46, 1 May 2016 (UTC))

Hi ShafferAgency - There are several issues, only two of which deal directly with your query. 1 - your argument is what we call other stuff exists. There's a lot of crap on Wikipedia, because it's run by volunteers. We try our best to winnow through most of the crap. And something that helps is not to allow poorly sourced articles from moving to the mainspace. 2 - Your sourcing. I'll post my response to that on the draft, so that other editors can see some of the issues. Now on to the other issues. 3 - Your username violates our username policy, since it appears to be promotional, and suggests use by multiple users. and 4 - based on that username, I'm guessing that you have a WP:COI regarding this subject matter. Worse, a paid COI (see WP:PAY). I deleted the references you listed here, since they simply clutter up my talk page (which can get pretty crowded). If they meet the criteria I put forth on your draft, feel free to include them there. I did notice one of them appeared to be written by the subject. Those also shouldn't be used, as they are primary sources. Hope this helps. Good luck. Onel5969 TT me 18:30, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

You turned down the article

Onel5969, thank you for your help on my first article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:George_Hodos

is there a time frame where we would have to make corrections to this article?

this may take us some time to correct this article.

Blessing of Prosperity and longevity to you and yours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cleeross (talkcontribs) 18:50, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Cleeross - Theoretically, there is no deadline. A draft can sit for 5 months without anyone touching it, after which they will be notified that if no one edits it in the following month, it can be nominated for deletion. If no one edits it for that month, it can be nominated for deletion. But even if it is, all you have to do is ask to have it reinstated, and it will be. So take your time. Get it right. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck. Onel5969 TT me 03:53, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

DYK for Edward Cronjager

On 2 May 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Edward Cronjager, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that for the 1954 film Beneath the 12-Mile Reef, seven-time Academy Award nominee Edward Cronjager became the first cinematographer to use CinemaScope underwater? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Edward Cronjager. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Edward Cronjager), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello again

Heya. I know how busy you are, because I forgot to take your talk page off my watchlist after you helped me with Draft: Master & Dynamic. But bothering you again because it's now been sitting for a while. I gave it another edit before I re-submitted it. Will you take a look when you get a chance? Should I reduce the chart of products to just the basics? (I included it only because I think the materials they use are are amazing and part off the whole story.) Will you let me know if there's more to cut (or cut it yourself, which I know is asking a lot...but still). Thanks again, Julie JSFarman2 (talk) 18:56, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for reviewing my article. I'm curious as to why you said the article has a POV issue. Is it to do with the organ donation subject?

AuthorKJ (talk) 23:24, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Julie - I saw that you had resubmitted it, and I purposely did not review it again, wanting input from at least one other editor. Personally, I don't think articles should have product tables in them, that's something which belongs in a promotional brochure. However, that's not policy, and so I wanted further input. It does give the article an air of promotion, since none of the products are in and of themselves, notable. It's like you're giving customers ordering menus. The way you spoke about the ME05 in the body of the article is fine, imho, but other editors may still find it promotional, talking about it selling out. Talking about where the product is sold is also a bit promotional. I would also not break out the partnerships, but simply incorporate them into the body of the history section. But that's just a personal preference. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 18:37, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for that and sorry for the delay. Life gets in the way once again. I appreciate the input. Going to go give it another cut. And not taking you off my watchlist because I've been learning from your responses (both your diligience in responding and your perspective on all this). Thanks! Need your guidance on creating a page for Komal Jha - Indian Actress (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Komal_Jha)

As per advice the of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jimfbleak on my talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ch.th, I have created the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Komal_Jha and submitted for review and approval. I understand that you have declined the submission. Of course, it might not have been written well, but need your intervention to put the matter together and get the article published (Say encyclopedic article for the time being as advised by Jimfbleak). Could you please create or guide to create this article at the earliest in the acceptable format/manner ?

Thanks Chinth Ch.th (talk) 17:49, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Ch.th - The issue is one of notability. This might be a case of WP:TOOSOON, but this actress simply does not meet our notability guidelines at the moment. Your sourcing in the article doesn't approach the level needed, either. Part of the issue is that the Indian press has become more and more tabloid-like, especially in the arts, where they simply write regurgitated press releases and say they are news articles. Onel5969 TT me 13:11, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
Hi There ! What do you suggest? This person is actually a known actress in the southern part of India with on of her movies running successfully for over 100 days in theaters. Known regional dailies have published articles and some regional news/entertainment channels have published the interactions and details about her. She has been in the South Indian film industry for last 6-7 years. Need you help to get it published.I see a lot of new actors, not known much, too have pages on Wikipedia. I believe an actor like this person who has done movies in lead roles, in four Indian languages deserves a simple article on Wikipedia. Please guide in this regard. Thanks !! Hi - Not sure what you are talking about, but the article does not show the notability of the individual. To show notability you'll need in-depth coverage from at least 3 different sources, right now you have a single reference. References don't need to be accessible online, that simply makes it easier. You can take a look at WP:CIT on how to properly cite sources; if you do use references not available online, please make sure you include all necessary information. Would you kindly be more specific about the changes needed? I believe we have referenced independent sources that provide proof of background, being the producer of the number 1 hispanic reality show in the US. Would it help to provide additional press releases from the actual TV series?

Hi Sebasjim - First, it always helps if you sign your comments with the 4 tildas, ~~~~. Second, there are several issues with your sourcing. Check out WP:CIT on how to format sources; and WP:ILC on putting those references inline, which you will need to do since this is a blp. You also need to have reliable sources; twitter, facebook, imdb, Wikipedia itself are not valid as reliable sources. You will also need in-depth coverage from at least 3 independent reliable sources, with more than niche or local coverage to show they are notable. Being the producer of the #1 show in any category is a nice credit, but doesn't make someone notable. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 13:43, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Mentoring Request

Dear Onel5969 Sir, I have reworked on my project Draft:Purplehed Records. It will be great if you can mentor me for further improvement. I sincerely apologies for the mistakes and arguments I committed in our last conversation. I wish to contribute a good article and I do understand and value your feedback. I appreciate your teachings. Thanks and Best Regards Catrat999 (talk) 22:37, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Catrat999 - Article is still very pov. The quotations from the founders are very promotional and self-serving. The detail about their 2 projects is waaaaaay too detailed. No more than a line or two about each. These are many of the same issues. Onel5969 TT me 13:50, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Dear Onel5969 Sir, 1) I ll remove one quote that I used from the founder :) But to further clarify since you mentioned plural "Qutations/Founders" do you want me to remove Sanskrit sloka also or Dr Kalams's Vision which I linked with another WIki page ? 2) As per my understanding one should write in articles about why subject is notable or what independent sources are talking about the subject. In my case subject is notable for two projects. I believe both the singles are Individually notable , but I also understand they have very little accomplishments as they are not that famous in world and thats the reason I didn't make separate page for singles and included them on same page, I did refer many singles on wiki, Almost all of them talk about what single is about, What Artist's thought processes behind it, lead casts etc, I tried the same by restricting content to only facts that too with inline citations/proof for each statement, without including any original research but still its not working. Kindly throw some guidance on it.

If you have observed I have removed most of those statements which you said were not appropriate at Teahouse in current draft. I am ready to remove everything based of your suggestions again, but please I dont want to make a Stub article in this quest, I have really researched hard on it. Neither I am in hurry. Kindly guide me to at least make a start class. Forgive me if I am highly ambitious. Best Regards Catrat999 (talk) 15:43, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Sir, Please guide me. This is my first Wikipedia article and I'm confused as to what references to be added more. I would really be glad if I get some more details about the reference part. Also, please let me know whether any changes needs to be done in other parts of the article.

Vtradefair - First, sources need to be independent, 4 of your current ones aren't. Second they need to be reliable, none of your 5 are (Wikipedia, by definition, can't self-reference). Third, to show notability, you'll need at least 3 in-depth sources which you can reference, which are from independent, reliable sources, preferably not only local sources. Next is the tone of the article: this is an encyclopedia article, not a bio in a trade or fan magazine. We don't care what he "likes", or "does in his spare time". Does his corpus show that he is notable? Has he received in-depth coverage? Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 13:57, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

05:57:08, 5 May 2016 review of submission by MinnesotanParis

Hello, I really appreciate you reviewing my page. I am sure that it is evident to you I have not published a Wikipedia page before, so I appreciate any assistance. The subject of my page has been written about extensively in design magazines, in interviews, etc. and he is about to collaborate with some major luxury brands -- he is being "buzzed" about -- and moreover, as an artist he has worked with major festivals/museums (London Design Festival, NYC MoMA, etc). So I have a hard time believing he is not relevant enough to deserve an online biography...? As far as the references I have listed, I attempted to eliminate the links that were of his own creation/collaboration such as his video links or Kickstarter campaign...I hope this is what you needed to be able to publish this. Please let me know! Thank you so much.

Hi MinnesotanParis - My apologies, I clicked on the wrong rationale for declining the article. I do believe he does meet the notability requirements. However, its the tone and style of the article which are the issues. While not a POV issue, which is an automatic rejection, this is more problematic. Phrases such as "exploring how emerging technology will impact daily life in the future," "he is able to view the world in a spatial manner," and "to explore how technology, media and architecture intersect" are commentary, and belong in a review of his work, not an encyclopedia article. Another thing, take this sentence for example: "He has been interviewed or written about extensively online and in print, including by Wired online magazine,[4], Icon Eye,[5], Dezeen magazine,[6] and Disegno Journal.[7]" Rather than state that he's been written about, use facts from those articles (rather than opinions), and then use those articles as citations (which you have). Take a look at MOS:LAYOUT to give you ideas about how to structure the article. You should have a lead, which should be a few lines which could act as a synopsis of the entire piece, then have the main body of the article, under a heading of something like "Career". Just some thoughts. Onel5969 TT me 17:59, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

Parvathi Nayar

Dear Onel5969,

You have declined an article I had requested for creation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Parvathi_Nayar

Thanks for taking the time to go through the draft. I was of the understanding that, since this was an article requested for creation by Wikipedia editors themselves, all Wikipedia guidelines would be maintained. Therefore, can you please specify why exactly this article draft was declined and help correct it?

The decline reason states that the article reads like an advertisement, so is it the tone that needs fixing (to get the neutral POV) but the content as such is good to go as far as Wikipedia guidelines for verifiability / notability go? If this is indeed the case, please point out couple of examples of wrong tone in the draft & how they may be rewritten so that I get an idea. Thanks.

Liquidmetal2016 (talk) 15:25, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Liquidmetal2016

Hi Liquidmetal2016 - I'm not really sure what you mean the article was requested to be created by Wikipedia editors. If a Wikipedia editor wants to create an article, they simply create it. I was pretty specific why the article was rejected. It's not an article. It's an advertisements. I did not comment on the notability. There was no need to evaluate an article which is so promotional on notability grounds. Looking briefly at the current sourcing, you have 10 citations, the first 4 of which are not independent, and at least one other which is an interview. None of those go to notability. I'm not sure of the others. Indian papers are not that reliable when it comes to articles about the arts. They have the habit of being more tabloid, than newspaper, and quite frequently simply accept press releases and altar them to masquerade as news articles. To point out the specific examples where the tone of the article is promotional would be to point out the entire article. Sorry, but right now it's little more than a promotional brochure for the artist. Onel5969 TT me 18:09, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello Onel5969,

I noticed an AFC submission that you just recently declined is already an article and is currently at AFD. [1]

The AFC version looks quite similar to the original Philippe Maidenberg article that has been trimmed of puffery and promotionalism. The creator and a couple IP's kept re-adding the fluff and promo stuff. Looks like the next step was to submit the original article to AFC. Sorry to see you had to waste time.

Anyways, it is aT AFD here [2] Fouetté rond de jambe en tournant (talk) 02:57, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi LeonRaper - Please read WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO to see what denotes notability on Wikipedia. Also, please see WP:RS regarding what qualifies as a reliable source. For instance, YouTube is not. hello Onel5969

I would like to discuss you rejection about my article on Mianjang Investment Promotion Bureau. Firstly I dont find your comments very helpfull as they are very broad and seem to be composed of automated responses which makes me wonder if you have actually read the article and sources that deeply. I would expect a reviewer to be more specific. I would expect the review process to be as serious as the time, energy and process which I have applied to the construction of the article and the research into supporting material.

You say it reads like an advertisement, this is a comment about style and not about content, particularly when you consider that nothing is being sold here. It is purely informational. You say that an article has to be supported by references, this article is most definetly supported by references and almost all statements that need to be verified have a reference to do this. I cannot beleive that you have checked the references!? otherwise you would see this. Of course there can always be more, but that isnt what you said , is it? You say that an article has to be neutral and not based on materials provided by the creator. I dont think there is any material in this article that comes from a personal experience of myself and I have not said that. The only personal aspect of this article is that I have used photographs that I have personally taken so that I can claim the copyright and place them in the public domain.

let me take you through the encyclopedic line and demonstrate the notability in the contents of my article.

Mianyang is the only city in China to have the central government endorsement of "Science City" - This is a undeniable fact! and considering how big China is this is notable in itself. Is it not intriguing that the only "Science city" in the 21st century in China was also the home of Gunpowder in the 4th century and was also the home of the atom bomb in the 20th century. This seem encyclopeadic to me. (I documented these statements)

The development and success of Mianyang after 1964 was a direct outcome of the famous "Third Front" movement - again this is notable and interesting in demonstrating the the success of this movement in this case. When connecting the Third Front movement with mountainous and "secret" location of Mianyang and therefore the desire of Central Government to place Military, nuclear and space R&D facilities in this area we see the emergence of a UNIQUE set of circumstances that have produced the Mianyang of today and endowed it with some interesting and notable characteristics. For instance the fact that it contains more graduates per capita than any other town in China. I admit as it happens that I forgot the reference to this bit of non trivia and i can easily add it. These aspects all make it a notable melting pot for innovation and development in the decades to come. This is notable and the details concerning the origins are encyclopedic.

It is hard to encapsulate and reproduce the recipes that are needed for success in innovation and development. No one can quite explain why Silicon valley is what it is. Therefore to find a secret science city in China that has a good chance of reproducing this is notable.

Finally I attempted to demonstrate this line of thought by referring to the "swords to ploughshares" metaphor and explaining how this has worked in the case of BMW (a notable company) and the Chinese Military Vehicle R&D establishment (a notable organisation) and the circumstances then become encyclopedic.

How you can possibly say that this discussion is based on my own material I just dont see.

I would appreciate a reaction to this and some specific comments that you think need to be improved which show me that you have read the references and that you can see this is not based on my own material.

I just left some information on your talk page withous signing, possibly.

I referred to this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Mianyang_Municipal_Investment_Bureau_:_Europe

which you reviewed.

Hi Tangray-nick - First of all, when you put up a wall of text like you did above, many editors aren't going to waste their time reading it. Especially when it begins off in such an argumentative tone. Especially regarding an article which is so blatantly promotional. You should take a look at WP:NOT, which discusses what Wikipedia is not. I'll put some more links which you might find helpful on the draft. Good luck. Onel5969 TT me 16:51, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

Thanks Onel5969 I shall keep my comments shorter in future. I would have said defensive rather than argumentative I think I have a problem with the difference between promotional and what is informative. I shall rewrite this in another style and see what happens then. I would still appreciate some positive feedback as opposed to what it is not supposed to be. Tangray-nick (talk) 18:52, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Tangray-nick - There are quite a few issues with your article. Let's start off with structure and formatting. Take a look at the two links regarding those that I included on the draft. Next, is the inclusion of commentary in the draft. Don't make summary statements, or offer opinions. Examples would be (but these are just a couple, there are quite a few): "it is important to the Central Government because this city used to be a “secret” city, being the center of Military research, Space research and Nuclear research," "When one is starting new business operations or a new enterprise; whether that is driven by existing products for new markets or by new product development through innovation; it is much better if one is surrounded by a proactive environment rather than a reac tive one." This is called original research and is not allowed on Wikipedia. Next is the promotional tone. Simply state facts, don't offer opinions which are meant to portray the subject in a good light. Examples of this are: "Most importantly Mianyang is a showcase ...," "This is what Mianyang offers. A proactive local government which is actively stimulating ..." Finally, there are the citations. Currently, your article has zero footnotes. Many, if not most, of the links in the reference section are to other Wikipedia articles. Those are not references. Take a look at WP:Wikilink to learn how to deal with those types of links. Take a look at the link I left on the draft regarding how to properly format citations. And then take a look at WP:ILC about using in-line citations. Also, citations to show notability need to come from independent, reliable sources, which have in-depth coverage of the subject. Right now the few references from independent sources don't appear to be talking about Mianyang Municipal Investment Bureau. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 15:52, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you. Could you please tell me what other third-party references I would need to note for Dale Armin Johnson in order to satisfy the criteria? I took reference from the IMDb, and linked to each film, because it is the most reliable third-party database on entertainment in the world. I did the same with his biography. Mr Johnson's credits as Executive Producer and Producer, as well as all reviews and related matters of his films, are all correspondingly noted there. IMDb is an independent industry verification database so I assumed this met the criteria for verification and inclusion. Please let me know what more I need to do. Thank you for your feedback. Hello. I don't understand the rejection. All sources were third parties who wrote their reviews independently. One of them (L'Expresse) is even a well-known Canadian newspaper in Toronto.

Autobiography

Hi,

We have been going round and round for over a month dealing with many different issues. We all have to stop this and deal with one issue at a time. The first issue I want to deal with is Autobiography. If this can't be solved then we might as well shut down my Wikipedia page. But first consider the following.

Yes, Wikipedia people know I wrote my page. However, I also asked all of them to tell me about any word on my page that indicates I wrote it. None of the reviewers came back with an answer.

If Wikipedia publishes my page there will be billions of people throughout the world who don't have a clue who wrote the page.

Please, all reviewers get on board so we can calm this down and deal with one issue at a time.

I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Draft:Rashad West

Hi Onel5969,

I see this as very vague and he definitely fits this category "a similar major professional sports league.” He played in Spain which is one of the top leagues in the world and he has played in two top leagues in countries. That is all ACB and Serie A are is top leagues in a particular country. Here is a list of all of the Professional National Leagues and he played in 4 of these. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_basketball_leagues

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Rashad_West&gettingStartedReturn=true

Thank you for taking a look Onel5969. Could you please reference "a similar major professional sports league," as mentioned in WP:NHOOPS. I think that Wikipedia does a good job of filtering content. However, I think they used this terminology because their are more than 4 leagues in the second biggest sport in the world that qualify a person as a professional basketball player. From my perspective this would be equivalent to the example that follows in regards to the two overseas leagues they mention in WP:NHOOPS. If a player has played in the ACC conference, SEC conference, or "any similar major conference" qualifies a individual as a NCAA Division 1 college football player. I feel as if every person who follows college football could name a couple other major NCAA Division 1 football leagues if they follow the sport and each person asked would have their own subjective opinion and reasoning behind their answer. Thank you for your time, it is truly appreciated. I look forward to hearing back from you.

All the best!

Dear Onel5969, I want to apologize for not reading the appropriate help pages before submitting my proposed page now found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Newpoli. Although I read several help articles for submitting a new Wikipedia entry, I somehow missed the ones you pointed me to. Thanks for your time in reviewing the page and helping to set me straight. I will work with the music directors for the group and ensure that our next submittal will comply with the guidelines. The Cantabrigian (talk) 03:39, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

No worries The Cantabrigian - Don't be afraid to ask questions. Also, based on your comment above, I'm guessing you have some relationship with the group, so please read WP:COI and take any appropriate steps you need to. Onel5969 TT me 15:37, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing me to the WP:COI help page. please help me submit the article of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Riaz_Ali_Shah

Hello. How are you? I was a little surprised to see my article taken down based on lack of citations and sort of promoting my subject. I would like you to assist me resubmit the article. The main source I used was an article written by the Pakistan TB Association, government run and the same article was republished by several magazines in 1964.There is also a road named after Dr. Riaz Ali Shah (in.mapaworld.com/map/riaz-ali-shah-road-lahore-pakistan.ht) in the most expensive area of Lahore, Pakistan (link attached). He is known to all Pakistanis and is just not talked about as much as maybe a President as he was a doctor who was responsible for starting organizations in Pakistan run by the government which exist till today. King Edward Medical University is the most prestigious university in Pakistan and they have also mentioned him on their web site. He was the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad jinnah's personal doctor and the many pictures and several web sites i have cited are a proof to that. I mentioned harrapa films web site as a source as that web site clearly states that Dr. Riaz Ali Shah took pictures of the leaders and if you want a certification of that, you can contact the owner of the site. The Friday times has been used as a citation as the Friday times is the most famous newspaper of Paksitan and it mentions him being Jinnah's doctor. The articles's content is chosen from the "Life Sketch" article which I can post to you in email since it does not exist online. just ask anyone from Pakistan who this person is, everyone knows him. This person has also been mentioned on Wikipedia by Yashmin Bokhari (.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasmin_Bokhari) I have added more sources at the bottom apart from the main source. tell me what you think and want. I typed his name and found more sources below which I did not use or know about. The sources about his personal life are not online as he is from the 60s and Pakistanis do not use the net much to promote their legends as much as others but can be mailed to you if you like. Read the content and please tell me you do not think the doctor of the founder of a nation who eradicated TB in a poor country, started organizations, has a road in his name, has footage of world leaders because he was there, and has many prominent pics with the Founder of pakistan's sister, and is mentioned in the king edward medical university site is not notable? Im just sharing the articles which I think people should know about. i will not be too much of a hassle as my job was to share it. the rest is not up to me. thanks. (Legends2016 (talk) 11:57, 11 May 2016 (UTC))

Hi Legends2016 - First of all, be careful about putting a wall of text. Also, there is no need to put the references here on my talk page, so I've removed them. Right now, most of the sources in your article are what we call non-independent. In other words, the publisher of them has something to do with the subject. So they don't go to notability. To show notability, you'll need several references from independent, reliable sources which are in-depth about the subject. Blogs, press releases, obits, and stuff from sites like flickr, fb, etc. won't work. Second, and the main reason I declined the article, is its tone. Just state facts, don't give opinions. Don't use peacock words. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 17:03, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Questions about my entry

Hello,

I am currently working on Penka Kouneva's Wiki page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Penka_Kouneva) and I would like to make sure I understand everything that needs to be done in order to make sure we can publish this article correctly. We don't understand how IMDb is not a reliable source of information; numerous credentials come from this website. Heck, John Williams' Wikipedia page has 4 IMDb references. I understand the idea that anyone can edit IMDb, but after doing some research it seems like their process is similar to Wikipedia's. You ensure the info you want to submit is not listed, you create the page, you submit it for approval, a team takes a look and replies with answers, usually legit but a few cases of abuse have been reported. I honestly don't want to come off wrong here, I genuinely want to understand what makes it an unreliable page.

Kouneva has sent me a message to forward to you as well, please see below:

--- Dear Wiki editor,

Would you be able to suggest the best way to get a Wiki entry re-written and approved for this person. Would it be possible to hire a staff editor, how much would that cost and what is the timeline?

Penka is an industry leader. Similar entries already on Wiki about her colleagues and peers include:

-Sharon Farber -Austin Wintory -Scott Glasgow -Laura Karpman -Miriam Cutler

Would you recommend that we re-write this article to be more like these entries?

Thank you so much for your time and attention. With gratitude, Penka ---

Please help us at your earliest convenient so we can ensure successful publishing of the article. Thanks in advance.

Kdvr9 (talk) 18:08, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

This isn't a debate. imdb is not a reliable source. Period. It's not my opinion, but the consensus of Wikipedia editors. The fact you find it difficult to accept that does not make one want to help you. I'll put some links on your draft page which you should read, they might help you in developing the article. Arguing certainly won't. Onel5969 TT me 11:19, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

My intentions and tone were of bona fide doubt and lack of understanding of the subject. Everything I've read about how to write an article encourages individuals to ask questions. Thank you for your time. Kdvr9 (talk) 18:54, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Kirimaia - It can take several weeks for an article to get reviewed. There are only a few of us who actually do most of the reviewing, and there are about 500 articles waiting currently. It shouldn't be much longer now, there are about 2 dozen which have been waiting longer than yours, so it should happen shortly. If not done in the next day or two, ask me again and I'll review it on Saturday. Onel5969 TT me 20:20, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi, i got your message about Draft:Clara Barton School. I just edited there, explaining that I could not create the disambiguation page im mainspace due to an editing restriction. Your creating a dab page by copying my work, though well-meaning, messed things up. What was needed was a move over redirect. Now it takes an admin to delete the version now at Clara Barton School, and then to move the draft to there. You might add a comment endorsing that, if you agree. Sorry to have caused the bother. I take this as feedback that I need to explain in a comment or otherwise why I have submitted a valid page to AFC rather than just putting it into mainspace myself. Thanks for your volunteering at AFC, which is good work to do. sincerely, --doncram 17:14, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

doncram 17:14, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi doncram - not really sure why that caused an issue, since you were the one who created the redirect page, but I've put my endorsement on the draft page - should you request the dab page delete? That's what I was going to do, but in the past, admins have said there was no need to do that, simply change the redirect into a dab. Sorry to have caused such a bother. One note, if your draft is moved, I would move the redlink to the bottom. Just a suggestion. Onel5969 TT me 02:25, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

I would appreciate any other feedback you have!

I hope to hear from you soon. Respectfully, Alfreeman19 (talk) 02:16, 13 May 2016 (UTC)alfreeman19

Hi Alfreeman19 - I won't review it now that you've resubmitted, because there are still issues with it, but definitely correctible. First, when you use the same cite more than once, there is a proper way to do that. I've done the first one for you, to give you an example. You need to do that throughout the article. Second, there are what are known as raw hyperlinks in the article (e.g. University of London) - those need to be removed. If you wish to wikilink to an existing Wikipedia article, simply put brackets around the name, like this [[article name here]] - University of London. I'd also get rid of the awards section. None of them are very notable. This artist is notable enough for an article, but stuff like that makes it look promotional. Hit me up here after you've made the corrections and I'll move it to mainspace. Nice job. Onel5969 TT me 02:35, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi AtulWikiacnt - I won't review it, since I would decline it again. There are still issues with the article. First, get rid of all WP:PEACOCK words, like "legendary", "leading", "renowned", etc. Second, avoid commentary, such as "keep his legacy alive", "rich cultural heritage", and "working extensively towards promoting and preserving traditional ..." Get rid of a separate Awards section. You can add a line along the lines of, "she has won several local, regional and national awards, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2014". The rest of the awards are non-notable, so mentioning them is purely a means to puff up the subject. I haven't checked it for notability. Can't while I'm at work, but those other issues are enough to get it declined again. Onel5969 TT me 17:47, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi JJBlvcklist- phrases like "equally known for his talents as an artist", "His reputation and resume is extensive", "After realizing his natural talents", and those are just in the first few sentences. Those are all highly pov. Also, there is an informal tone in other phrases like "Joey had taken himself from homeless, to making six figures", which are fine for a magazine puff piece, but don't belong in an encyclopedia article. Thanks a lot for your assistance. I would mind them while editing. Actually I followed one page which is already a Wiki entry, this is for another Indian Kathak exponent Saswati sen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saswati_Sen). Uma Dogra (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Uma_Dogra) for whom I am creating the page is almost at the same level. Thats why I followed that page. Even those terms which you are asking me to remove are taken from Saswati Sen page only. But I would remove them if they become reason of decline. Awards also are not at that local level. They are either national or state level. But if they too become reason of decline I would remove. Only thing is Wiki should have an entry for Uma Dogra. Draft:Tushar Unadkat

Hi there. I recently uploaded a draft page "Tushar Unadkat" which you declined. I was hoping you would be able to tell me more specifically what I need to do to improve this page, as I've tried improving it already and I'm not sure if I should just give up. I could possibly edit the language a bit, but the trouble is I've tried being neutral and objective already (more factual and at distance). I also don't know if it's because of the sources... but I have since found a well-known physical magazine which was launched last month in India which praises his contributions to the South Asian community as well as a journal article which references his artworks, as well as a book Canada in My Views - Dr Mafatlal Patel which also notes his contribution to the community. Would this make it more appropriate for submission? As a social and cultural studies scholar I am engaged with his work so was hoping to get this out. Thank you, and all the best.

Hi - Right now the article reads like little more than a CV, which is a personal promotional piece. While accomplished, is he notable? The two are not synonymous on Wikipedia. The current references currently don't show that. For instance the Event Combo piece is a press release masquerading as an article (this happens frequently in Indian media). A dead giveaway is when an article provides contact information to the subject of the article. The CMCS and SAJA pieces are non-independent. The Reelworld is a PR, and the other two links are not operational, but simply looking at their titles, they are most likely not independent. What you need is in-depth coverage from at least 3 independent sources to show notability. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 13:23, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Notability

This is in relation to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Robert_Valley

Firstly, I appreciate you may not have much time, so thank you for attending to this message.

I understand that there are not enough secondary sources to make the subject seem notable. However, there are two issues with this: 1. The domain of the subject's work does not, yet, make newsworthy copy for a mainstream audience, and is more likely to be covered by specialist blogs/videos, due to the nature of the work. 2. The subjects peers are often media shy about themselves and more interested in pushing work than individuals, if they go public at all. And by extension, don't often make a lot of noise about other artists in that field.

His work is very notable, indeed iconic, and any professional illustrator/animator worth their salt would attest to this. So can you advise on what alternate sources would be a appropriate? Or what can be done to further confirm wikipedia acceptable notability in absence of mainstream media coverage?

gsv_gravitas_zero Gsv gravitas zero (talk) 20:21, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Gsv gravitas zero - To show notability you're going to need sources. They are out there. Click on the "News" link in the box on the draft. In addition to the Cartoon Brew piece you already use, there are enough other articles to show notability (e.g. Huffpo, Comic Book Resources, ComicsAlliance). Stay away from interviews with Valley, as they are primary sources, same with press releases. It's not going to be easy, but with a bit of effort, I think you can get this article published. Get rid of the YouTube reference, as it's not considered a reliable source, same with imdb. Also stay away from social media sites. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I usually respond once a day, but you can also get help at Wikipedia:Teahouse, if I'm not responding quickly enough for you. Finally, your first citation is properly formatted, make sure you get rid of any error messages in any cites. Good luck. Onel5969 TT me 13:41, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

04:02:55, 16 May 2016 review of submission by 1Piccolois

This is my first attempt at creating a page and I chose my teacher because he was considered by many in the industry to be the greatest piccolo player of the twentieth century. I feel he deserves a page. He also was also a very modest man and kept any successes to himself. When he past away I, with the help of his colleagues in the Philadelphia Orchestra, prepared a memorial concert for him at the Academy of Music Ballroom and the Philadelphia Orchestra's archivist gave me copies of all sorts of wonderful newspaper clippings about him. I would like to share this information. So you know, I am not getting anything personally from creating his page.

I have gone back and tried to site third party Internet content where I can, but I'm finding it very difficult finding Internet content when dealing with a classical musician from this time period. Please tell me what you need so we can get his page up and running.

Thanks, 1Piccolois (talk) 04:02, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi 1Piccolois - looks like you've met the GNG guidelines. Article still has a tone issue, stuff like "was passionate" should be removed. Denial on Sydney Michael Hudson

Hi Onel5969,

I have submitted the article for Sydney Michael Hudson a few separate times now. (https://www.google.com/search?as_eq=wikipedia&q=%22Sydney+Michael+%28Mike%29+Hudson%22&num=50) Right now I am working on changing the references that appear more than once so that they share a citation. Other than that, I believe it was denied due to unreliable sources. I changed many and added multiple new sources to the article, but still received a denial. The latest denial was not as clear to me. Can you please clarify what is causing the page to be denied? I have been working on this for over a week and feel I have corrected most errors, so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Tdwilson (talk) 13:13, 16 May 2016 (UTC)tdwilson

Hi Tdwilson - The sourcing was the main issue, but not the only one. In addition to not having independent, reliable sourcing, the article, in its current form is a puff piece. The vast majority of the items in the "Accomplishments" list should be deleted. In fact, Wikipedia prefers prose to lists. If you can cite his involvement in a project, simply in the body of the article say, "In 19xx, Hudson was part of a team which did _______", but only if it's significant. Also, if a citation doesn't indicate him, get rid of it. Citations are of two sorts: 1 - to verify assertions in the article; and 2 - to show notability. Many of the citations you currently have are fine for the former, for example using the Marian U's magazine to show he's a member of their BoT is fine. But since they are non-independent sources, they do nothing to show the man's notability. To show notability, you need to have several articles which go in-depth about him, which are from reliable, independent sources. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 17:45, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello,
Thanks for the explanation. I have read Wikipedia's definition and descriptions of independent sources, but do not understand how the sources used in this article do not fall into this category. I will go ahead and get rid of sources that do not speak of him directly, but do my other sources work? Also, which portions of the accomplishments would you suggest getting rid of? I believe they all contribute to Hudson's life and efforts, so deleting most of it may lose the importance of his article. Would it be better to turn the accomplishments into prose rather than lists? Sorry for all of the questions, I would just like to get this approved in a timely manner and am new to this! Thank you again. tdwilson Tdwilson (talk) 18:16, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
References from sources that the subject had anything to do with (worked there, published a paper, belonged to) all are non-independent. The list of accomplishments can probably be summed up in a short paragraph or two. Everything from an advisory capacity down can be deleted. His fellowships can be summed up in a single sentence, such as "He was a member of several societies, including as a fellow of the (and pick the first two, maybe three at most). The development work can be summed up in a single sentence. Where I would spend time is on the first section, give a sentence, with dates and citations for each of those major projects. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 01:09, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Rubixdigital - It will be difficult to get this approved. It's been deleted twice, and the last time was almost salted (which means that to get it approved would really take admin approval). I did I search for this particular person with that name, and got virtually nothing which would show his notability. If you can come up with four or more in-depth articles from independent, reliable mainstream sources, that would be different. Right now, the article has zero of these. Why has it been rejected. He was a legend of his time. He has wrote number of Books which people still read today. His Prabhat na Pusha books are still famous. His stamp was released by President Pratibha Patil. So please check the references and do review again.

Chitralekhamag - please read the guidelines for notability, then read the guidelines on how to format citations. Then read the guidelines on what qualifies as a reliable source. Blogs, youtube, non-independent sources - you need to get rid of all of them. Then get rid of the wordpress sites (non-reliable), sites like Amazon, etc. Not sure what you have left. Then, you have to write the article in a neutral tone. Onel5969 TT me 01:13, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

I have looked at the Draft:Hobson v. Hansen article. The article appears to satisfy Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment for Start-Class or C-Class articles. The comment by Jodi.a.schneider is a legitimate edit concern. However, that edit concern does not appear to merit a suspension from moving this article from draft space into article space. Question about an article

Hi, Onel! I have a question back for you, since I know you work in the film and entertainment areas. It's about the article Darrell McNeil. I declined BLP PROD on that article and have been working on it - trimming a massive amount of puffery and adding references. But I don't know what to do about the "filmography" sections. They seem to be listing everything he ever worked on, credited or not, sourced or not, right down to "background extra". In the article they explain why his work was often uncredited. He is mentioned several Wikipedia articles including Super Friends, Wonder Twins, and Space Sentinels, and I have even seen signed cels of his for sale at Ebay, so he is definitely notable in the industry. But I just don't know if those long filmography sections are allowed. You are familiar with this Wiki subject, what do you think? --MelanieN (talk) 20:45, 17 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi MelanieN - Unlike actors, uncredited work by behind the scenes folk, unless it can be cited by an independent source, shouldn't appear in the article, in my opinion. So that should wipe out the majority of the list. I have some articles with over 200 films in the filmography section (see Robert Emmett Keane), but all of those are cited by a reliable source. I feel the same way about the "other work" section. If you can't cite it, then it becomes problematic. Regardless of length, the filmography should at least be in columns, if not a table. The length of the filmography isn't the issue, it's being able to verify what the filmography contains. Hope that makes sense. Onel5969 TT me 01:40, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the information. One of the things I trimmed from the article (it was loaded with fluff) was a comment that this article represents the first complete compilation of everything the guy has done - in other words, original research all the way. I will trim out the uncredited/unsourced stuff. I will probably keep the things listed at IMDb, even though I know we don't consider it "reliable". After I trim it (I'm busy offline so it may take a day or two), I'll see if I can figure out how to format it better. --MelanieN (talk) 16:14, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Not sure why my submission was rejected (first time I tried this). I think Philip Lowe deserves to be on wikipedia because he will soon a very prominent central banker. He deserves a mention even with his current role as deputy governor of the RBA Debdel123 (talk) 06:37, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Debdel123, and welcome to Wikipedia. Wikipedia has a policy called notability (you can read about it HERE), which someone has to meet to be eligible for an article. Notability is related to, but not the same as prominence or accomplished. To show notability, you'll need at least 3 in-depth articles about Lowe, from independent, reliable sources. Independent means that Lowe has not relationship with the site (can't have worked, written for, etc). Reliable means that the site has editorial oversight. Hope this helps. Hi Robert McClenon - First of all, thank you for the hard effort you put in over at AfC. Second, yeah, that happens from time to time. When using the AfC review tool at the G13 queue, it automatically sends a template message to the editor it decides was the submitter. Sometimes it is because you might have moved the page. There's nothing I can do about it when using the tool, my apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Onel5969 TT me 15:04, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi CAZigmund - Wikipedia requires that a subject meet certain notability requirements. Right now the sources you have are, for the most part, not independent of the subject. In other words, he has some connection to the publication, or are dead links (the financial planning.com), or are not reliable sources (thinkadvisor.com). That leaves you with a single independent source which talks about Anthony (Wollman - although you need page numbers for that citation). What you need are at least 2 other in-depth articles from reliable, independent sources. Onel5969 TT me 00:52, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

23:26:56, 20 May 2016 review of submission by Singertreid

I'm requesting a re-review because I believe I have resolved the issues brought up by Onel5969.

Firstly, I've added details about the subject of this article to make it clear that the subject is notable, and worthy of mention in an encyclopedia. This includes a section on Mark Singer's well-publicized exchange with Donald Trump, the property developer and TV personality who is the presumptive Republican nominee for president.

Since Mark Singer has been a staff writer at The New Yorker for many years, articles in The New Yorker may not always constitute an independent source, and so I've also added references from prominent, reliable, independent sources, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Politico.

Hi Singertreid - Looks like you've already resubmitted, so I'll let another editor have a whack at it. Onel5969 TT me 01:03, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Turton station

Hi, you turned down Draft:TURTON STATION, but I think for the wrong reasons. Railway stations in the UK are almost always kept in deletion discussions (see WP:RAILOUTCOMES), since if they ever opened it's so easy to find sources to say so - every British railway station that existed at any time prior to the 1990s is mentioned in books like Butt (1995) and Jowett (1989); and virtually every railway line has a book (or part of a book) dedicated to its history and these universally list the stations on the line.

But in this case, it should have been turned down as covering the same topic as Turton and Edgworth railway station. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:12, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Redrose64 - I don't disagree with your assessment, but when I select a rationale for the decline, I also try to see it in the eyes of the person who created the article. I could have used the decline as improperly sourced (since it contains 0 sources). When the article's submitter looks at the decline notice, however, I didn't think that the verbiage in the improperly sourced one would work, or at least I felt the wording from non-notable, "This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage about the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject", would make it more apparent to that editor what was needed.
I honestly hadn't reached the point of checking for existing articles, and I'm not sure that I would have caught it. The draft mentions it being on one line, while the article has another line. There is a cross reference to Chapel Town, but being unfamiliar with the line (being from the US), I'm not sure I would even have known that there was an existing article, since if I had felt it was properly sourced, I would have been allowed to move the article to mainspace. I have to think on this to figure out how to avoid incorrectly moving stuff to the mainspace in the future. Any suggestions? Onel5969 TT me 21:08, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
It's the same line, "Bolton to Blackburn Railway line" is descriptive if not historically accurate (British railway lines are traditionally not called "A to B", instead they are "A and B" to indicate that traffic was not unidirectional); "Ribble Valley Line" is a neologism thought up by marketing people. Other names for that line could include the names of the companies that built, opened and owned it - Blackburn, Darwen and Bolton Railway, Bolton, Blackburn, Clitheroe and West Yorkshire Railway, Blackburn Railway.
If it's a railway matter, send a note to WT:RAIL; for UK railways, a second note at WT:UKRAIL wouldn't go amiss. There are dozens of us hanging around those pages, you'll probably get a response same day from somebody sufficiently knowledgeable. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:48, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi Theboxny - It's not that they are not reliable (for the most part), but the quality and type. In some instances, it's that the article is written by Baitel, and is not about him. In other instances, others, like the NYT piece on Mana Contemporary, are mere mentions of Baitel, and don't go in-depth about him. And blogs are rarely considered reliable sources. What you need are about 3 articles about Baitel. For example if the NYT piece I just mentioned had been about Baitel, rather than about the organization, that would have worked well. Hope that helps. Hi Mahmoodyaqub - It reads like a promotional brochure for the company. Get rid of the services section, only customers are interested in that. Get rid of the awards section. None are notable, and therefore its just filler to puff up the importance of the company. Get rid of the key partners section. Sentences such as "establishing the group as the local sponsor and promoter in United," "best Money Management Services to help expats in Dubai," "was awarded "Best Boutique Asset Management Company – UAE", and the entire second paragraph in the lead are all promotional. The first paragraph in the lead is also promotional. Also, on another note, raw links (like that to Centaur Holdings), should be removed. Onel5969 TT me 21:49, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Hey there, I created my first article last night and went through great pains to find a number of sources. I really don't know what else one can do as I see many, many articles on Wikipedia that are less notable and have less reliable sources (see "Jeremy Saulnier" and "Ronald Bronstein" for reference). Do you have any tips for improving this Chris Fuller article? I would certainly think a film director who created an award-winning film in wide release with another in production would qualify as notable, particularly with sources such as the NY Times, the Museum of Modern Art and the most reputable film publications in the country in IndieWire and Filmmaker Magazine. His works already have Wikipedia entries, as do most of the participants in his works, yet the filmmaker himself does not. Would greatly appreciate any advice as I struggle to think of more reliable sources than the ones listed and his notability is confirmed by the presence of his works on Wikipedia.

Update: I just added additional sources in the LA Times, LA Weekly and St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. Looking forward to your feedback.

67.9.151.198 (talk) 16:28, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

It's such a coincidence that I happened upon this draft at AfC, since I have Loren Cass on my watchlist. Here's the issue, there's a concept on Wikipedia called WP:BIO1E, which says that a person, in order to have notability, must be known for more than one thing. All of the good sourcing in your current article is about Loren Cass, which is definitely notable (and why there's an article about it). Outside of Cass, you have two other references, one is imdb.com, which is not considered a reliable source - and anyway is about Cass as well). The other one is a press release, and so not a reliable source. The commonality of Fuller's name makes internet searches for him difficult. I added "filmmaker" to the search, and got only a single hit, which also had to do with Cass. You might try other searches on Google News, Google Books, and simple Google or Bing searches, using: "Chris Fuller" + "filmmaker". You can substitute other words for filmmaker, such as director, etc. Right now, he doesn't appear to pass WP:GNG, nor the lesser standards of WP:ENTERTAINER. Sorry, wish I could be more encouraging. The article is structured and formatted well. But it has the issue which you see in a lot of marginally notable (or not-notable by wiki standards) articles about people/companies, of coming across as a puff piece. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 22:02, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to give such a thoughtful response. I'm still working on the article as there are other notable aspects to the filmmaker, such as his entrepreneurship and history in the tech world. I'm working on refining it and adding more sources. That said, I didn't see anything in the guidelines that mention a requirement that there be more than 1 notable work for a person to be considered notable. I had a lengthy discussion with some mods on the Wiki Live Chat and they seemed to think it was pretty close to being able to be approved. Also, if you use "director" instead of "filmmaker" in your searches and also append "meatman" to his name, you'll get more articles about his filmmaking the startups he's been involved in. All that said, I'll keep after it! Thanks again!

Update: Just for reference, I'd been following the guidelines for Creative Professionals (which, according to my interpretation, the subject meets) after the Live Chat mods pointed me to that one. Maybe this is where our discrepancies come into play? It's at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Creative_professionals

I do not understand why Margherita Datini is for some reason not considered "notable" enough, so I would certainly appreciate a re-review. I used nearly all the references available for her, including the excellent work done by historian Ann Crabb; Datini is fully deserving of a Wikipedia page as the writing she did was important to Prato's merchant politics and the role of women during the time. I worked very hard on this research and I'm extremely disappointed that the entry did not go through. I think a great amount of people could benefit from learning about her life.

Thank you so much for the review and feedback. I checked the references you recommended for more information and am wondering if you had any more specific requests about how to improve the page with regards to citations specifically. There are many other beauty pageant titleholders who are included in Wikipedia who have much fewer citations concerning coverage or interviews on newspapers and international media. Should I remove some information to simply make it more basic and only have information on the page that was covered by newspapers and television?

Would it be possible to help me understand exactly what I need to do in order that my submission might be accepted;I understand that rejections are most common because of lack of references, a lack of notability, and too much bias in the writing style. Regarding the first two, could you let me know if the following would be a good start and I am on the right track:

Notability: attaching links to Biographies etc, of the founder members, together with the council members, Also, I would put the Professional Standards ie EQA etc, in long hand afterwards. Validation: In the Professional Standards paragraph, if I write the acronyms out in full ; Credibility: if I can provide examples of where the professional Standards have been used maybe

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello, I'm new to Wikipedia and I'm trying to set up a page for theatre company, Quarantine. My draft has been rejected because it reads 'more like an advert than an encyclopaedia entry'. It was rejected previously on the 12 May for the same reason, with the comment that it contained 'peacock language.' I tried to amend it by taking out what might be read as 'peacock language' but clearly there is still a problem - is there anything else I can do to make the draft more acceptable? Would I be right in guessing that this is no longer an issue of language, but of the fact that many of the references link the Quarantine's website? Advice/guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Hannah.

Thanks for all your hard work over the years

I just happened to click a link to your user page today and noticed the semi-retirement message. Thank you for your work, especially at AfC. Best, /wiae /tlk 15:24, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

Michael Jay Solomon Source

Hello. I am sorry to start a new section, but I cannot find my original note. The mention of Solomon's role with VidaPrimo is at the bottom of the Video Age article I used as a source. The first source I used was a press release. The second one from Video Age was not. Please adviseLG Brichetto (talk) 22:31, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure I'm doing this right. Can you let me know if there's anything more needed on the Robert Valley submission? If not, is there anything else I need to to as the queue position seems to be rising rather than going down. Thank you for your time and patience.

Hi Onel5969,

Would it possible to point out the unsatisfactory parts of my article, ie. the sources, or the written copy in certain sections? I have made a couple of edits over the past month but they might have been in the wrong direction.

Thanks for everything thus far!

Review of submission by DrArminius re Draft:Allan_Anderson_(theologian)

Dear Onel5969,

Thank you for flagging up your concerns re: notability. I am collecting evidence to rectify this and hope to demonstrate Professor Anderson's notability to your satisfaction very soon.

Kind regards. DrArminius (talk) 20:35, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi,

I would like to check why the edited submission for my draft is still under review. It stated as 7 days but it has been close to 11 days since submission but there has been no feedback. Do let me know. Thanks.

Do take note that formatting and reference to the company's websites and sources have been edited to suit your editors comments. Do let me know if there's anything further.

Hi, could you please inform us, how is the references that we use are not notable or verifiable? those are all the information that we have about page365. This Page365 is very similar with soldsie, thus we would like to make similar article about the sample of social commerce.

Revert of Miami

You can't link directly to census data. The previous link was not the actual citation either. There's no point in reverting. And way to make it harder for me instead of simply asking. Scythe33 (talk) 20:22, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
