Hi Oldosfan! We're so happy you wanted to play to learn, as a friendly and fun way to get into our community and mission. I think these links might be helpful to you as you get started.

Hi Oldosfan, and thanks for adding more information to the /e/ (operating system) article. Unfortunately, some of the sources you that were added (including InfoSec Handbook and ewwlo.xyz) can't be used because they're self-published sources (that are not used in a self-descriptive way).

It would be good to pare down the promotional text in the article, and to include critical reception from reliable sources, but we generally don't use information from blogs. I know this can be difficult for niche topics where coverage from reliable sources is less common, but Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires this to keep articles trustworthy.

The German article for /e/ is much better than the one here, since it bases a higher proportion of its content from reliable sources. Perhaps you can use that as a starting point (with the help of a translator like DeepL, Google Translate, or Microsoft Translator).

Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about editing. Welcome to Wikipedia! — Newslinger talk 11:20, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

After looking at the article history more carefully, it looks like Yae4 was the editor who added the self-published sources. You added the HackerNoon piece written by Gaël Duval, which is acceptable as a primary source. Sorry about the confusion! My suggestion to use the German article still stands. — Newslinger talk 11:54, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
thank you User:Newslinger for your warm welcome! I understand that it is difficult to edit such an article without relying on self-published/unverifiable sources. I'll do my best in the future to follow the established guidelines.

Draft:MicroG for improvement, if interested

There should be a microG page. Could you help make the draft, Draft:MicroG, better? -- Yae4 (talk) 22:19, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
