I don't mean to offend you or assume bad faith, but I personally think it was inappropriate for you to redirect the article back to Miley Cyrus discography without discussing it. Regardless of her state as a fictional character, she has albums and singles that have charted. And additionally, there are many musical credits to the Hannah persona. It seems rather obvious that it should be split. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 04:40, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- See WP:BRD and WP:SPLIT. You were bold, I disagreed and reverted. Now lets discuss this at talk:Miley Cyrus discography where I have started a discussion. --NrDg 04:45, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
HM Songs
Can you read my post here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hannah_Montana_songs (under discussion) do you agree with me? - Alec2011 (talk) 19:13, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I have no preference on how the article is organized. --NrDg 00:36, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- OK that's fine. - Alec2011 (talk) 00:01, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh I'm sorry
I didn't mean to do it. I'm just helping. Pecker3378 (talk) 12:45 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Revert?
Why did you revert my Main List of HM episodes on all three season pages? - Alec2011 (talk) 23:22, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- I explained in the edit summary. The main tag is used to link from a summary section of a topic in a general article to a more complete article that expands on what was summarized. The list of episodes article is the summary and it already has the main tags pointing to the season articles. You can't have the fully expanded season articles then link back to the summary. That creates a wikilink circle. You were using the main tag to link to an article with LESS information - the summary. --NrDg 01:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- That's fine, it made it easier to go back to the List of Episodes page without having to go back to the HM homepage then click the link again. It's fine though :D. - Alec2011 (talk) 02:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Deletion of File:Miley Cyrus TCA.jpg
You removed File:Miley Cyrus TCA.jpg earlier today, citing Wikipedia:CSD#F5. I can't help thinking this was jumping the gun rather. The image in fact was used, although without a fair-use rationale, in Miley Cyrus; would it not have been more appropriate to ask the editor who added the image to the article to provide a fair use rationale? Second, both F5 and F6 specify files can be deleted after seven days, but as the TCAs were only broadcast on Monday, I think it's unlikely the image had in fact been on Wikipedia for seven days. Waiting a bit longer would have given the uploader an opportunity to provide a fair use rationale. I appreciate it's important to keep Wikipedia free of copyright violations, but it's also important to give editors time to correct errors.VoluntarySlave (talk) 06:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I restored it per your comments. --NrDg 06:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Credits
I am sorry to bother you, but I don't have the photo booklet for Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus and I need to find out where the personnel for "I Miss You". How or where could I find this? --Ipodnano05 (talk) 02:52, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- Usually this is filled in by someone with access to the album inserts. Absent that the details are from reviews or sales sites. Also ask this question or search at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Songs. --NrDg 13:58, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
icarly help
Even though we don't know if season 2 is going to be split in half. Since there is no source that says it. When the episode iThink they kissed airs and there are new clips in the theme song, can I put new clips in theme song as the reference or in the edit summury. Can You tell me what to do if that happens and if that's okay. thanks please respond Extremeguy (talk) 01:00, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't consider new songs as sufficient to say a new season has started - you can't be sure that that implies anything. I would expect a production hiatus and a change to 300 series production codes. Or some official announcement from Nickelodeon of a new season - the announcement could be a press release or advert in the middle of lots of shows. New seasons are usually a big network marketing deal and I would expect Nick to play that up if a new season is starting. Absent any of that I would go with the original reference that says season 2 will have 45 episodes (and therefore 45 200series production codes). Cable networks don't follow the same new season rules that regular broadcast networks do so I would like to see something really explicit that shows season 3 has started being produced and broadcast. --NrDg 01:38, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
