Deletion discussion about Oversimplified

[edit]

Hello, Niobaker123890

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Slatersteven and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Oversimplified, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oversimplified.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Slatersteven}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

NASL edit reverted

[edit]

I wanted to let you know that I changed your May 2020 edit of North American Soccer League (1968–1984). Although it appears your edit may have been in good faith, you seem to have misunderstood what you were reading/correcting when you made the edit. It was not a grammatical error. Toronto Croatia was established in 1956 and therefore existed prior to 1968. They joined the NASL from the CNSL in a 1975 merger with Toronto Metros who were struggling to stay afloat. The team name became the Toronto Metros-Croatia. In 1979 they were bought out of the NASL, and returned to the CNSL as Toronto Croatia. The "new" NASL club then became known as the Toronto Blizzard, but the Blizzard folded with the rest of the NASL after the 1984 season. Toronto Croatia has continued to exist in various Canadian leagues even to this day. Therefore it is correct to say: existed before 1968 and after 1984 as opposed to your edit which read: existed after 1968 and before 1984 which would be indicative of every club in white in that chart. Does that make sense? Kind regards -Creativewill (talk) 21:22, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2024 United States presidential Election requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/United States presidential election, 2024 (3rd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, 2024 United States presidential Election, does not yet have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Draft:2024 United States presidential Election, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:2024 United States presidential Election and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:2024 United States presidential Election during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
