2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data/Myanmar medical cases chart reference
Hi NinjaStriker, first of thank you for maintaining the cases chart for Myanmar's data. I was gathering data for Southeast Asia COVID-19 timeline and stumbled into Myanmar's graph/chart. It seems that the deaths and recoveries are not accumulated just like with Philippines and Thailand. I looked at MOHS's situation reports and found some mismatch with what was on the sitreps and on the chart in this page. I think this might be due to the difference in the report time of the sitreps and timing of the update of the MOHS website. I would like to edit with what is available on the sitreps with the day it is dated, and leave the data int the chart/graph where there are no sitreps to reference to. But I feel like you have the say about how to move forward since you have majority of the edits.
Sorry if this is not the right way to discuss things. I seldom edit and when I do most are only minor.
The COVID-19 Data Repository by Johns Hopkins CSSE still don't have the data for Myanmar, so I look forward to having an available referenced dataset for Myanmar outside the data repository in this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siklab Agimat (talk • contribs) 14:33, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Siklab Agimat: Please go on the edit. You're right about the data discrepancy. The different data are due to the time of case announced and the reported date. Ninja✮Strikers «☎» 17:27, 24 April 2020 (UTC)

COVID-19 pandemic in Myanmar
Hi. I hope you are doing well. Do you know if the Ministry of Health and Sports still intends to publish COVID-19 figures on a daily basis? It appears that either of the two sources that I am using were not updated yesterday, and both of them were inaccessible for several hours. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 15:57, 7 February 2021 (UTC)

Nay Pyi Taw Administration
I was curious about a question I left on the article for Naypyidaw. What is the difference between the Naypyidaw Development Committee and the Naypyidaw Council? I've been able to find the answer to this nowhere. And it'd be nice to differentiate the two since the one thing that is made clear is that they are different governing bodies. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:54, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Criticalthinker: Naypyidaw Council is responsible for the general administration of Naypyidaw Union Territory, and Naypyidaw Development Committee is mainly responsible for rural/urban development of Naypyidaw Union Territory. Both council and committee have the same chairman which is also mayor of Naypyidaw city and they are directly under the control of the President of Myanmar. Are these right, @Kantabon:? Ninja✮Strikers «☎» 07:33, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Ninjastrikers:, do you have an opinion on how one should think about how these two relate? This is a rather unusual setup for governance of a union territory. Is it that the Council is the regional-level government and the Committee the local/municipal-level government? Is the Committee subordinate/responsible to the Council, or each responsible to the President, individually and on the same administrative level? It's a bit confusing to try to figure out which one is the primary administrative government for the territory. I'd like to be better able to describe this relation on the articles for each and on the main article for the city/union territory. --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:08, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, that's right. Naypyidaw Council is the governing body of the entire Naypyidaw Union Territory. Naypyidaw Development Committee (NPTDC) is the committee only responsible for Municiple Affairs in defined municiple areas with the approval of the Naypyidaw Council. (These areas include all townships of Naypyidaw Union Territory). They have same chairman (according to the Naypyidaw Development Law and Naypyidaw Council Law) with different members.Naypyidaw Council is like the State and Region Government of Myanmar. Other States and Region Governments are controlled by State and Regional Hluttaws. But, Union Territory doesn't have Hluttaw. Therefore, the president can give direct orders to the Naypyidaw council. The Nay Pyi Taw Council is constituted in accordance with the 2008 Constitution (article 284 , 285). The chairman of the Naypyidaw council has the same authority as the state/region chief ministers. Council Members have the same authority as the state/region ministers.Naypyidaw Council Members share responsibilities for defence, border affairs, Immigration affairs, religious affairs, culture affairs, education and health affairs, etc. NPTDC members share responsibilities for Markets, Road, Building, Parks, etc.Naypyidaw Council & NPTDC are similar with Yangon Region Government & Yangon City Development Committee and Mandalay Region Government & Mandalay City Development Committee. Chit San Maung (guitarist) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Chit San Maung (guitarist), is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:09, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Onel5969 Hi, I would like to oppose the reason WP:UPE/WP:COI that you mentioned. I never personally knew Chit San Maung and I did not receive any kind of incentive/cash from anyone. I am the one who always rejected that kind of offer in Burmese Wikipedia Group. Ninja✮Strikers «☎» 13:18, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm sorry, but there are clear indications of some type of relationship with the person. How do you know Maung? Onel5969 TT me 13:23, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Never mind, I think I see what the issue is. You cropped an image on Commons, and then said it was your own work. Cropped images are still the copyrighted property of the original owner. You need to fix that on Commons. Will move the draft back. Thank you for all your efforts on WP. Onel5969 TT me 13:24, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
