BH Municipalities

Hi,

I am trying to find the underlying boundary files used to create this map http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bosnia_and_Herzegovina_municipal_elections_2008_result.png. Can you tell me how it was produced and if you do have spatial files can you share them with me?

waypoints — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waypoints (talkcontribs) 21:51, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I've got no idea – I probably transferred that file from en.wikipedia to the Commons, but I did not create it AFAICR. —Nightstallion 22:33, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Nightstallion. I've just wrapped up fixing some clumsy Flemish-to-English prose in the article for the Di Rupo I Government and would like to expand more on the 541 days of negotiation (obviously not to the extent of 2010–2011 Belgian government formation or 2007–2011 Belgian political crisis, but something more), specifically the latter-days breakthroughs such as the BHV/state reform, nuclear phaseout, the budget and the Dexia bailout and the impetus lead by the S&P downgrade and Leterme's nomination as Deputy Secretary General of the OECD but I'm not sure if I'm particularly skilled enough to do so. In any case, time constraints may prevent me from doing so at all. Do you know of anyone more qualified to write on Belgian issues? Therequiembellishere (talk) 07:49, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Politics? The coalition broke up, and the SDPK gave the PM post to the Respublika party to get a new coalition together, I suppose. —Nightstallion 19:28, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
SUPPOSE? Sorry, but whithout an argument you cannot remove such things from an article.--The Theosophist (talk) 19:32, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Hey, chill. I didn't say we didn't have a source for the new PM (http://www.rferl.org/content/babnov_elected_kyrgyz_prime_minister/24431765.html ), but your guess is as good as mine as to what exactly happened. —Nightstallion 19:34, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Serbian parliamentary election, 2012, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal Democratic Party (Serbia) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Guinea=Bissau Prez

Please dont synthesize without a source. WP is not a weblog or twitter, to make pronounce ments on a new president without a source is certainly nto up to RS standards and would be OR.

The source says that he will continue in his role it doesnt NOT say he will be sworn in as acting/interim, which officially means that he will continue in his capacity of taking charge of presidential affairs not that he will be president which is different, however technical. Perhaps officially the post will be vacant, unless we have a source saying otherwise(Lihaas (talk) 21:43, 9 January 2012 (UTC)).

See http://rulers.org/rulg2.html#guinea-bissau . —Nightstallion 21:44, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
That doesnt mention anything about his swearing in which happarently happened yest. (hence a news story)
More reputable sources liek the NYT and AFP donet mention anything of the sort. in fact the latter says he will CONTINUE on in his position which is indicatibve off him being acting prez for even longer then.(Lihaas (talk) 12:59, 10 January 2012 (UTC)).
Yeah, but there's a difference. While the president is in office and alive, he's only standing in; once he's dead, he's actually acting president in his own right, sworn in or not. —Nightstallion 15:04, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but you reverting me, Everyking and Nightstallion because you aren't reading into the news correctly and responding angrily to us when we try to explain our position to you is getting really tiring. Therequiembellishere (talk) 17:22, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Exactly. There no point in emergency succession if the government has to wait for the next person in line to be sworn-in. Therequiembellishere (talk) 18:41, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pakistani Senate election, 2012 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. BPositive (talk) 18:35, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

2012 Chinese Grand Prix

Hey, I noticed that you restored the content of the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix page with the comment that it "was not too soon". The race itself does not happen for another three weeks, and there is no real information about it aside from the fact that the race will take place. Generally, the editors at WP:F1 do not create race report pages until after the previous race has been completed, unless it is particularly notable, like the 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix. The article Mauritanian parliamentary election, 2012 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Its not true at all according to RS sources (as opposed to the individual's website). Election was in 2011 and 2013 [3]. Nor is it in the news. ([4][5][6]. Even the original cited website doesnt give a date.)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I'm really not sure these are worthy of an article for each election, particularly as both have just been elected unopposed - I think for now a section in the main o le Ao o le Malo article is enough.

I am contacting you because you have participated in prior discussions at the above article, and it would be appreciated if you gave your views on an current dispute.
