Three featured articles were promoted this week:
- Gravity Bone (nom) by Hahc21. Gravity Bone is a freeware video game developed by Blendo Games and released in 2008. Built on the Quake II engine, the game included music from various films. It was well received by critics, who considered it to have a cohesive story, atmosphere and its ability to catch the player's interest over a very short time span without feeling rushed or incomplete.
- Marcus Ward Lyon, Jr. (nom) by Maky. Lyon (1875–1942) was an American mammalogist, bacteriologist, and pathologist. He published more than 160 papers and formally described six species, three genera, and one family.
- Laura Secord (nom) by Curly Turkey. Secord (1775–1868) was a Canadian heroine of the War of 1812 best known for warning the British of an impending American attack. The deed was almost unrecognised during her lifetime, and Secord died in poverty. Although she now sees greater recognition, including various namesakes, most Canadians associate her name with an eponymous chocolate company.

- Theatre productions of Dan Leno (nom), by Cassianto and Ssilvers. English actor Dan Leno (1860–1904) made his stage debut in 1865, as a juvenile clown. He acted in numerous further performances, becoming a star by the end of the 1860s.
- List of awards and nominations received by Ivy Queen (nom), by DivaKnockouts and Hahc21. Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ivy Queen has been nominated for some 32 awards, including two Latin Grammy Awards; she has been most successful at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
- List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (A) (nom), by MisterBee1966. The Third Reich awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross to 118 people with surnames starting with "A" during World War II. The veracity of several of these has been challenged.
- List of international cricket centuries by Alastair Cook (nom), by Sahara4u and The Rambling Man. English cricketer Alastair Cook has scored 23 centuries during Test cricket and 5 in One Day International matches. He made his first century in 2007.
- List of The Elder Scrolls video games (nom), by Hahc21. Seventeen entries in the role-playing game series The Elder Scrolls have been produced since 1994, with five main installments and several expansions.
- List of airports in the Okanagan (nom), by TBrandley. The Okanagan, an area in British Columbia, Canada, is home to five airports, four heliports and three water aerodromes. These are found in three of the region's five cities.

- NGC 2467 (nom; related article), created by the European Southern Observatory and nominated by Ceranthor. NGC 2467 is a star-forming region whose appearance has occasionally also been likened to that of a colorful Mandrill.
- Wes Brady (nom; related article), created by the Federal Writers' Project, restored and nominated by Chick Bowen. Brady, a former slave, is shown here as photographed for the Slave Narrative Collection. The American federal project was undertaken between 1936 and 1938 and recorded numerous narratives of former slaves.
- Gulf Fritillary (nom; related article), created by Wilfredor. The Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) is a migratory butterfly found in the Americas. They are partially protected from predators by their toxic flesh.
