Peter and the Wolf (1995 film)–citations needed
[edit]Hello, thanks for writing this article! I’ve just read it and I’m a bit concerned that it has no citations. That worries me since without proof that this topic is notable, meaning covered enough in media for it to be possible to write a fair article on the topic, the article may get deleted.
Are there any reliable sources on the topic that you can add? If so just edit the article and add citations using the cite tool, or if you have any thoughts or questions just let me know. Blythwood (talk) 13:12, 19 May 2019 (UTC)

- You asked a similar question here but didn't get a response. I can't really answer either question. Perhaps you should try again? I would be tempted to answer yes to the second question but I have a tendency to believe more information should be added to articles than other people, or that certain topics are entitled to articles when they are not. As for the first question, I'm not familiar with the guidelines.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:00, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Stoaways on the Ark
[edit]Hi, it's very good so i've raised it to C class. To improve it, a critical reception section needs to be added with quotes and/or summaries of reviews of the film in independent reliable sources, each individually referenced, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 20:51, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
Your help desk question

Disambiguation link notification for June 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Channel 9 (Greece), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Channel 9 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:35, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Achaia Channel building.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Achaia Channel building.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 10:32, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Whpq check the file's talk page. I took the picture with a screenshot from my PC, and more specifically, Google Maps Street View. If it does meet the criteria for deletion and I can't possibly modify it, then you can proceed and delete it. :) NickBlamp (talk) 10:41, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Whpq I modified the file's page (summary and licensing). Is it better now? NickBlamp (talk) 11:18, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- To answer your first point, the copyright of the image from Goggle Streetview is held by Google. Taking a screenshot of the image does not give you the copyright. I don't know what adjustments you made to the licensing as it was deleted but I don't expect that anything you could have done would have been able to fix teh fundamental problem that the copyright is held by Google, and not you even if you did take a screenshot. -- Whpq (talk) 14:40, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- I understood it and modified the file's page (I did put that Google is the author, I just misinterpreted the use of the author section in the rationale), but Black Kite told me the image is easily replaceable, so it couldn't be added. Anyway, thanks for clarifying me that!

The problem is that the image is replaceable with a free one (in this case very easily), and so it fails our non-free image policies. "Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose." Thanks, Black Kite (talk) 15:03, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

The file File:Peter and the Wolf 1995 soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Sountrack cover being used in a section of the article on the TV special. Not being used as primary identification at the top of the article as claimed. Fails WP:NFCC#8.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}

Deletion discussion about Liberation Entertainment
[edit]Hello, NickBlamp,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MrClog and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Liberation Entertainment should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Liberation Entertainment .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MrClog}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
