Do you have a question? -- Patchy1 10:20, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

This is disruptive. The article already has an {{advert}} template, so theres no need to repeat the same thing several times, including with "inline" templates that don't belong at the top of the article. And the content that you removed is reliably sourced. Phil Bridger (talk) 10:48, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Where is {advert}? A contesting candidate is eligible for inclusion? If so, then all contastants should be included here. Isn't?
I added the {{advert}} template but I see now that another editor removed it. The thing to do in those circumstances, if you think it should be reinstated, is to start a discussion at Talk:Tejasvi Surya, not to edit-war and certainly not to template for the same thing multiple times. The same applies if you want to question the reliability of a source after your removal has been reverted. If you think the article should be deleted the procedure is described at WP:AFD. Phil Bridger (talk) 11:07, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. Kindly to stop this vandalism. -- 14:38, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Times of Assam, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 23:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Times of Assam

Hello, NeverTry4Me. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Times of Assam".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! 大诺史 (talk) 11:00, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

Nomination of Times of Assam for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Times of Assam is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Times of Assam (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. -- haminoon (talk) 21:13, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

Without giving any scope to improve the Wiki page, you are moving it straight to "Delete"? I appeal against your decision. Let's other senior moderators to talk. What kind of policy and guideline you are talking about? For you, "Digital News", "online Newspapers' shouldn't have any space on Wikipedia?? Then why you don't delete Sri Lanka Guardian, Weekly Blitz, etc, and more? Why you stand arrogant always?
My sincere apology. Actually I was misguided seeing these https://www.fastcompany.com/90471667/how-wikipedia-volunteers-became-the-webs-best-weapon-against-misinformation, https://thegrayzone.com/2020/06/10/wikipedia-formally-censors-the-grayzone-as-regime-change-advocates-monopolize-editing/ and https://consortiumnews.com/2020/06/15/uprising-narrative-control-operations-escalate-as-america-burns/ .

  • As this says "...just a simple mentioning of name of the site (and, its news coverage) in books and journal doesn't qualify it to pass WP:GNG and WP:NWEB. -Hatchens (talk) 08:24, 24 June 2020 (UTC)", now what are the criteria for citation and editing?
You need to actually read WP:GNG, and understand it. We don't just write about anything, only that which has been covered in multiple independent and reliable sources. I'd you'd like to save the article you created, the best way to do so is to find reliable sources that establish it's notability. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 16:38, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 05:12, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Your contributed article, তপন বৰুৱা

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, তপন বৰুৱা. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Tapan Baruah. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Tapan Baruah. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. 2A01:4C8:A8:CC79:D4DE:8FF6:C176:399B (talk) 08:12, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Quick CU

I'd love to know why you thought it appropriate to request a quick CU against DFXYME, the account which nominated your article for deletion -- TNT (talk • she/her) 17:57, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

TNT, kindly do not be mistaken. I was expanding the page Jayanta Narayan Choudhury after creating the page, the user came and nominated it for deletion. The page person had been Director General of India's Special agency National Security Guard and Director General of a State, along with Additional Director General of India's central intelligence agency Intelligence Bureau (India). Nominating a page of that person created a doubt in my mind as the person in the Article is a High Profile Indian Govt Officer.

My apology if this offended anyone. --NeverTry4Me (talk) 19:15, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Sanjib Baruah moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Sanjib Baruah, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. • Onel5969, WP:COI ? No, my friend. I can not even contact that person. Why would someone with a high-profile person contact me? I have no direct and indirect connection with the subject person or his any of friends or relatives. I don't know much about his personal needed for the Wiki, hence I am unable to add his personal details. Morever, even without a Wiki page, his name is enough as he is a noted writer of India. You can just do a Google search for his name. Kindly do not blame me for WP:UPE. Accusing me for WP:UPE is an insult. --NeverTry4Me (talk) 05:04, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

@NeverTry4Me: You left a note on the draft talk page. I was drawing the reviewers attention to that note. Reviewer's don't usually read the talk page. scope_creepTalk 11:03, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
@Scope creep: I have made major edits on the Draft. Can you guide me checking the Draft whether I am going/doing in proper way or not? Regards --NeverTry4Me (talk) 07:23, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
(talk page watcher)NeverTry4Me: On your user page you say you are a Java Programmer, so with that you're probably aware of the need for precision to avoid flawed code/design causing a JVM to barf stackdumps all over webserver logs to the annoyance of system administrators. If you came to a code review meeting and simply tossed in a printout of some changed code and expected the meeting to go through it for you then you might be losing jacuzzi privileges. K.I.S.S.. Read WP:THREE. No volunteer has time to read through though a citebomb of references trying to work out which are key key notability points and which are supported by WP:RS, and BLP's will be particularly strict. Its also important in programming to be able to know where to get the right information, for Java accessing the information on the Oracle Website and support is essential for example. In this case for right direction its probably better to go to Wikipedia:AFC Help Desk for independent views. (that's no disrespect to Scope Creep). I would slightly offer different advice from Scope Creep in use of the talk page as putting the 3 best RS on the talk page may be helpful and that the AfC reviewer should at least scan it, and asking them about that on a declined review might not be unreasonable, but only if notability points are very clear and non-primary RS. You should also be aware that at some point you actions may be judged against WP:COMPETENCY/WP:DISRUPTIVE criteria if you are pulling in lots of volunteer effort. Thankyou. @Djm-leighpark: My apology that I was too novice in many a things. But user Worldbruce helped me to understand lots. I have already said that for me Wikipedia is my learning platform and I am/will-be always a learner. Can you please have a look at the Draft now (removed primary and added secondary, removed citations those are un-necessary & primary), so that I can know/learn whether I am going in right direction or not? About being a Java programmer, due to my job, I am no longer with Java, I am removing the category from my Userpage. Pardon and apology for every single mistakes by me (everything was in Good Faith) --NeverTry4Me (talk) 09:25, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
I've removed the image as there's little sign of you raising a valid WP:VRT image for it which is needed. Beyond that its helpdesk's you need. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 09:49, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
@Djm-leighpark:, Can you please have a look at the revised Draft (removed primary and added secondary, removed citations those are un-necessary & primary), so that I can know/learn whether I am going in right direction or not? --NeverTry4Me (talk) 10:31, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
To re-state what I'm trying to tell get over to you ... ask the helpdesks. I've really very little WP time today and I'm sorting off stuff round Newry, not to mention I'm sorry to say I'm minded the subject is likely to be judged below the AfC notability threshold; so even from a triage point of view its seemingly not a good choice for me to spend time on, A different matter with Sanjib Baruah, I reckoned he could be successfully defended at AfD/DRV if necessary. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 10:43, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
That's a better guidance now. Cheers. :) --NeverTry4Me (talk) 10:46, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
