Disambiguation link notification for January 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Burning Bush (mini-series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Conductor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey, I undid your removal of sources from Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross. If you think there's a problem with any of the sources (you called them "irrelevant", but that doesn't really mean all that much), bring it up on the article's talk page so we can figure out a better solution than just removing them and replacing with cite needed tags. There didn't appear to be any issues from what I could see, however I didn't look too hard at the sources, so I may have missed whatever the issues were. Thanks! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 21:26, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi MrMoustacheMM, I think you should've taken a deeper look at the removed sources. One link is dead, the others are about Charlemagne but not about the album. Dead links should not be included in Wikipedia, nor references which have nothing to do with the subject they should prove. Nazgul02 (talk) 22:48, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for the explanation. I didn't check them, because your edit summary was lacking in any real info explaining why you removed these sources (in other words, it didn't seem like you had a good reason; "irrelevant" is hardly descriptive, and dead links should not be summarily removed without first using Template:Dead link to mark them as dead). I assume you checked archive.org for an archived version of the dead link, and could not find one? If not, please do so, as we should not remove sources simply because the current link is dead (archived versions of sources are perfectly fine for WP). If you do find an archived version, check Template:Cite web on how to show archived links. Again, thanks for the explanation! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 23:19, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I undid that IP editor because his/her edits were much below the Wikipedia standard. Please see ALL the changes that the IP tried to introduce, including that they added "death place" to the infobox: [1]. Regards, kashmiri TALK 15:54, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Moreover, the infobox says about party membership, not about party leadership, IP's edit (and your revert) introduced factually incorrect information. kashmiri TALK 17:08, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- I could have introduced an error as I don't understand much Polish. But it was clear that the information that JKM was no longer leader of KNP was true, so there was no need to remove it completely. The article needs to be edited, not reverted to the previous version. Nazgul02 (talk) 11:38, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. comming back to information you deleted years ago
[edit]Hi Nazgul02,
I think you deleted the information I once added to the Cairo_Symphony_Orchestra. I consider my self an experienced opera lover, had been in Opera house all over the world, from the Met in New York, to Sydney opera house an from Theatro Colon (Bunes Aires) to Vienna an Berlin.
There is no other place than Cairo opera house where I experienced this kind of dress code concerning discrimination. So I do think that is in this particular respect a relevant information. I just discoverd a discussion about dress code on the webpage of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, which makes me come back to this topic.
I would be glad to get some more precise feedback if why you deleted the information which would help people to avoid such disappointing experiences.

Art-chocolate (talk) 14:58, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Art-chocolate. First of all, you did not add any sources for your claim. All information in Wikipedia should have a source. Second, I believe your edit did not adhere to the WP:NPOV principle. Wikipedia should not judge whether any policy is very illogical and confusing or not. If you want to add information about dress code at the opera, please find a reliable and verifiable source. Thank you. Nazgul02 (talk) 15:06, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Praha-Eden railway station moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Praha-Eden railway station, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 09:39, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
