Infoblox
[edit]You deleted the article because the company is not notable? They have 1/3rd of the fortune 100 as customers, as noted in the article and shown on their website. How is that not notable? Some of the largest microsoft deployments in the world run on Infoblox DNS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ConservativeOpinion (talk • contribs) 22:48, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- A company can have notable clients and not be notable in itself (consider, for example, an office cleaning company in Manhattan). The article did not cite reliable independent sources to establish Infoblox's notability per WP:CORP. NawlinWiki (talk) 23:19, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Pauli Rodriguez
[edit]I am proving a valuable point. Also I will take this to the civil courts in order to get my name removed from conflict of interest page. Wikipedia is getting to neutral for me...when are humans only neutral? How can I be neutral in emotion? I am expressing my points as neutrally as I can. I do use notable resources. I rather keep this conflict of interest small don't you think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulifan (talk • contribs) 01:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Please relist Pauli Rodriguez wikipedia article. If appeal democrat is notable then why did you accept a wikipedia article about them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal-Democrat. I was also noted in the Sacramento Bee several times, the capital newspaper of California and several times in the Appeal. I was also noted in several other newspapers in California. Please relist my article. Thank you!
maybe you should take the appeal democrat and sacramento bee articles down along with many others. Please remove me from the conflict of interest page, I want to add to my Pauli Rodriguez article. Pauli Rodriguez is a noteworthy person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulifan (talk • contribs) 00:46, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Colorware
[edit]Hello, I had recently posted an article on the subject of Colorware. I noticed that you have marked it for deletion and understand your status as an administrator on Wikipedia and was wondering what could be added to this article to further show its reasoning for staying on Wikipedia. I feel that on the basis of this article being deleted for its 'promotional' status is argumentative because my reasons for writing this article was not to promote it but was to create an area of understanding in what the company does as well as its notability in both nationally/internationally recognized magazines and websites. Also I can assure you that this article is not a 'one-edit' type of article that can be found on Wikipedia, but rather one that will have continuos changes in which I plan to improve upon for my college class that this has been written for. Please contact me on how this article can be improved upon so that it fits ALL criteria to remain as a Wikipedia article. Thank you and best regards! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicogsu (talk • contribs) 03:46, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Do you think some salt would be appropriate? Also, could you give me the names of the recent recreators so I can check for similar-named article creation? Thanks. Bongomatic 01:02, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've salted -- I checked the other two users who created this page, and they haven't done anything else bad. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 01:04, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks & cheers, Bongomatic 01:10, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Still not clear after reading the music description page as to why Priscilla Renea's pages continue to get deleted. She is a legitimate singer/songwriter signed to Capitol Records/ EMI. Since signing with them she has release an EP called "Hello My Apple" and now her debut album, "Jukebox" will be released on Dec. 1st. The music requirement states that the artist must be active on charts or have major network activity, which Priscilla has both. The video for her debut single, "Dollhouse" debuted on YouTube's homepage last month as a part of their New Music Tuesday, followed by a BET premiere on 106 and Park. And now her video is #4 on MTV's Top 10 videos, which you can find on their site. She also has a new article on Billboard.com. In addition, her single is #97 on iTunes Top 100, and #37 on the Top 40 charts. She is one of the spokespersons for Baby Phat's Sole Series campaigns. Tomorrow she'll open for the Backstreet Boys and next Saturday, she'll open for The All-American Rejects. So basically, when you say an artist needs to be "notable" and Priscilla doesn't fit the criteria, with a record that is now up to 1200 radio spins per week and single downloads on iTunes that place her in the Top 100, I'm confused. - comment by User:Purpleperfection, prevented from posting by edit filter. [edit]Why would you delete my Retro Fox page! It deserve's to be on this website.
- Not if it doesn't assert notability per WP:CORP, it doesn't. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:16, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- How about you help me out by doing that for me instead? TheFoxIsBack (talk) 01:21, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I know I haven't made many Wiki entries, however, after 100 podcasts over so many years and a rich background, after deleting my page seconds after it was created... I think you're taking your job a little /too/ seriously.
- See WP:BIO and WP:V - lots of people have 100 podcasts. You need to show that this person has been recognized as notable by independent sources. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:31, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I hardly see the New York Times covering this guy. I think you're biased. I'll find something about him getting a key to the city or whatever is sufficient for you to deem him worthy.
- He's a contributor to the Urban Dictionary - http://www.urbandictionary.com/author.php?author=Dante3000
- I found him featured on http://www.suburbanhomerecords.com/category/drunk-dial-hotline/page/2/

Hi there Nawlin. I saw you said that Runescape help for newbies was an expired PROD in your deletion reason, but I'd only added the PROD tag a few minutes before, and it looked like a user was attempting to contest the deletion. Although you also said it was spam/advertising (WP:CSD#G11), which would overrule the PROD, except from I can't recall seeing anything on the page which sounded like spam. Although that is from memory. Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 16:51, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- The user was trying to advertise her Runescape site, which she had also created a separate article for. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:53, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah I see, I saw on the user's talk page that you had deleted another page, but I didn't get a chance to look at it. By the way, do you think you could let the IP address who commented on Talk:Runescape help for newbies that I have replied on Emily ht's talk page (they are almost certainly the same person, but better safe then sorry). I'd do so myself, but again, I can't see who it was. Thanks - Kingpin13 (talk) 16:57, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello, just noticed that Zurb wikipedia page was deleted. Can you state the reason? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.144.253.52 (talk) 18:17, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Because it didn't assert that the company was notable per WP:CORP (doing work for notable clients doesn't make you notable). The three sources cited were the company's own website (twice) and what appears to be a PR release. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:58, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
ZURB does comply with WR:CORP. There are a number of credible third party sources which have reviewed ZURB, here are just some:
http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/172474/zurb_launches_notable_web_service_and_iphone_app.html http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/09/23/collaborate-on-web-docs-now-collaborate-on-web-designs-with-notable/ http://www.macworld.com/article/142951/2009/09/notable.html
Can we list the proper references on the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.144.253.52 (talk) 21:29, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- The Macworld and PCWorld articles are word-for-word identical, which is what makes me think they're unedited press releases. NawlinWiki (talk) 02:28, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
PCWorld has written a different second article about us here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/172616/collaborate_on_web_site_designs_and_code_with_firefox_addon_notable.html
PCWorld is also hosting our tool here: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,81100-order,3/description.html
MacWorld and PCWorld are not press releases, the press releases are here:
http://www.forbes.com/feeds/prnewswire/2009/09/23/prnewswire200909231315PR_NEWS_USPR_____SF79317.html http://www.entrepreneur.com/PRNewswire/release/208752.html
As you can see PCWorld, MacWorld, and TechCrunch all have written about us separately, I believe this is enough relevance to have an article in Wikipedia. If do not believe so, here are some more reference links:
The project we did for Pie Ranch http://www.cca.edu/about/press/2009/pie-ranch-serves-sustainable-farming
CrunchBase profile http://www.crunchbase.com/company/zurb
Is this enough reference points to consider letting the Zurb article stay in wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.29.35 (talk) 19:14, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- Although I still have concerns about this being corporate publicity per WP:SPAM, I think you can repost the article with the independent sources (not the press releases). Please be very careful to write in a neutral tone per WP:NPOV and WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:45, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion of Waldport Press
[edit]Would it be possible to get advice on how to bring out the "noteworthy" aspects of our publishing company so that the page is worthy to stay in wikipedia? I am not aware of many, if any, publishers that focus on new, first time authors enabling them to actually keep a significant portion the profit. This is highly unusual unless you go to self publishing which has no marketing and no professional copy editing. I put the page up at the request of one of our authors who wants other potential authors to know this unique approach. He wanted to add to it but it was deleted before he could get to it. Including the links at the bottom.
It is in fact much like the Press at Waldport, OR that was in one of the conscientious objector camps during the second world war. This press also was small and printed works by authors who were before unknown such as William Everson
Is this ready for the main wiki?
[edit]Hello.
A few months ago you deleted a page, Managerzone. Now, as it's been deleted before, i didn't want to create a new page on the main wiki. I have however made the article at User:Overthetop2/Managerzone. What i was wondering, is it good enough to be placed in the main wiki now? If not, how can i improve it to make it Wikipedia-worthy?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Overthetop2 (talk) 07:09, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- The article still lacks reliable independent sources that would show that the game is notable per WP:WEB. NawlinWiki (talk) 11:27, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Re: User:74.14.109.101
[edit]This user is IP hopping, using IPs within that range. They have been blocked several times within the past 10 minutes. I've sent an abuse report to abuse@bell.ca which traced it to Bell Canada. I also sent them an e-mail from my "eric_dilettante@disney.com" e-mail address, which has an network abuse group becuase Bell Canada is under contract by The Walt Disney Company for their phone services in Canada and at www.disneyparks.ca - Thank you. --A3RO (mailbox) 11:56, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm recreating "Law of the Horse" article
[edit]After reading about a banned user's suggested article ("Law of the Horse", which you just deleted), I looked into it to see whether it would be a legitimate, worthwhile addition to Wikipedia. So I looked up the sources, read them enough to establish that everything in the proposed article was true, found one spot where there wasn't adequate sourcing, then looked that up too. So I've now changed the article somewhat, and I can vouch for everything in it, independently of what anyone else thinks or wants. So I'll add back the article, as I've amended it, and we can avoid drama, help the readers and help Wikipedia. If you have any problem with that, please discuss it with me. Thanks. -- Noroton (talk) 21:45, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

hello live person. can you help me find the meeting place on irc for the wiki chem users? you already shot me a fast message before. Wiki's huge. Much to learn. Last Pictures
[edit]I recently authored a wiki about the NYC based limited liability corporation, Last Pictures. This is not just another pseudo production company that makes youtube videos. They were admitted into the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and have been written up all of the internet by a variety of film based webpages, such as slashfilms.com. Their work has also been referenced by the New York Times! If this is not a reputable source then I don't know what is. When I first created a page I included a summary taken directly from their website, and I realize that this was not appropriate. I then deleted the summary and left only a table of their portfolio and the simple explanation that Last Pictures is a NY based film production company. This information is completely factual and should be verifiable based on their admission into Sundance Film Festival 2008. Dozy42 (talk) 21:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
EF rights?
[edit]Hello. Thanks for adding "Peter Dais" to edit filter #58. Could you tell me what process I need to go through to be able to view the filters? I see them listed all the time when processing block requests at WP:AIV, but I never handle the blocks since I cannot see the filter details. Thanks, — Kralizec! (talk) 21:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- When I looked at Special:UserRights this morning I saw that the box was editable by admins, but I was hesitant to actually check it for myself (what with transparency and all). — Kralizec! (talk) 21:40, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! I appreciate it! — Kralizec! (talk) 21:46, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- BTW, it is nice to see that I am not the only olde tyme admin around here who actually replies to people's messages on the other person's talk page (rather than "centralizing" discussion on your own page and expecting the other person to watchlist it). Additionally I am glad that I am not the only admin who does not use the funky talk header things that come up when you go to edit a talk page. — Kralizec! (talk) 13:35, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Quick question re. foreign language redirects.
[edit]Hi there, User:KembanganGreen has been adding Lithuanian redirects to Formula 1 grands prix in the English namespace. Does that warrant deletion, or what is the proper thing to do in this case?
Cheers, XXX antiuser 21:43, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

South Park protection
[edit]Hi there. There have been a handful of new users who have been making legitimate edit requests on the talk page for South Park, and I noticed that you protected it in August of 2008. I'm not 100% familiar with the markup in protection templates, but to me it looks like that protection was due to be lifted in March 2009, but never was. I just wanted to leave you this message to see if there was some sort of oversight. New episodes of this show begin tomorrow, and it could generate new interest in the article, thus potentially some helpful edits from newer users. I also understand that it would open the floodgates to an article that has a long history of being subjected to vandalism, but I would say that 14 months of protection has been long enough. Just wanted to know if it was cool with you if I requested unprotection of the page. If the vandals do indeed return en masse, protection can be requested again. - SoSaysChappy (talk) 21:47, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, the page had been semiprotected since December 2007 - I just added move protection in 2008. I have removed the semiprotection against editing -- let's see what happens. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 21:49, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks. Hopefully nothing too bad. - SoSaysChappy (talk) 22:36, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion Modjo (Energy)18:37, 24 September 2009
[edit]Nawlin, You said I need references showing that the product is notable, why are pages of products on wikipedia that have no references at all? This site has one reference:NOS_(drink), from a indepentend review site called energy fanatic. I had exactly the same reference plus an additional other 5. Another example: Full_Throttle_(drink) has also one link at all, the same we use from the Biz Journal. How can it be that these sites are all not deleted, and mine got deleted immediately? You mentioned that the article needs news articles as reference or other independent sources, I had 3 news arlicle references and one independent product review as references. I will repost the article with a additional independent resource and hope that this time it won't be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Julia222 (talk • contribs) 10:51, 7 October 2009 (UTC) Julia222 (talk) 11:02, 7 October 2009 (UTC) Could you please unprotect the page so I can post the article again? thanks Julia222 (talk) 11:02, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've tagged NOS for deletion -- the single source is a blog, which doesn't meet WP:V. Full Throttle is at least supported by the Atlanta article -- I didn't see that source in your article. Also, Full Throttle is a product of the notable Coca-Cola company. In general, see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:36, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- I had exaclty the same source like Full Throttle, the Atlanta Article is from Biz Journal and mine from South Florida Biz Journal (http://southflorida.bizjournals.com/southflorida/stories/2008/12/22/newscolumn1.html#). It was not my purpuse to tagg any articles, I just don't understand why mine is deleted. Here are more examples: Boo Koo: No source, Ciclón: No source, Go Fast: No source. Some of them have a "question book" to add a source, but they didn't got deleted, I really don't think that this is fair, please unprotect the article.Julia222 (talk) 16:42, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've moved your last draft of your article to your userspace at User:Julia222/Modjo (energy drink). As you can see, there's no citation to the South Florida Business Journal in it. If you add that source, however (and if you remove the assertions that are only supported by PR releases and blogs), then I will not oppose your moving it to mainspace as Modjo (energy drink) (note that this fits Wikipedia naming conventions better than your previous title of Modjo (Energy)). Your immediate deletion of Five9_Inc Page
[edit]Nawlin,
You deleted this page almost immediately after it was created. When I went back this week to update it with the information that would make it significant, it was already gone. Wiki pages are never perfect or "final" from day one. Please un-delete it so I can edit, update and improve the article, without it being promotional. Thank you. Predictive (talk) 15:41, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- The page as posted did not cite any sources per WP:V or assert how the company was notable per WP:CORP. If you can remedy those problems, feel free to repost. I've moved the deleted text to your userspace at User:Predictive/Five9 Inc so that you can edit it there. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:34, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you. Please allow me a little time to work on it.

- Nawlin - can you please take a look at the page in my userspace User:Predictive/Five9 Inc before I re-post it, to check for sources etc. Thx.
Predictive (talk) 15:28, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- You've got the SF Business Journal article, which probably saves the article from speedy deletion. I am still doubtful as to whether this company is notable per WP:CORP, and I can't promise you that someone wouldn't tag the article per WP:AFD. But if you repost, I will not speedy-delete the article. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:32, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Removal of Dem Bombaclot Boyz
[edit]Hello NawlinWiki, I was creating a page about a North Carolina local band, Dem Bombaclot Boyz when you marked and deleted the page. The argument against Dem Bombaclot Boyz according to Ar. 7 is that there is no sign of significance. I'd like to argue against this claim and have the page reinstated (with revisions stating importance):
- The Band has been featured on Chapel Hill's local radio station, WXYC
- The Band has performed twice at the venue 'Local 501'
- The Band has been featured in the college's local newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel
If you feel that Dem Bombaclot Boyz does not meet Wikipedia article criteria, let me know and I will continue building facts.
Thank you for your time and contributions to the Wikipedia project.
- None of those really indicate notability per WP:MUSIC -- you should probably wait until this band becomes a little better known. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 16:34, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Arab Academy for Electronic & Information Technology Services
[edit]Arab Academy for Electronic & Information Technology Services (Arab Academy) is a business entity in Egypt that provides services to learners of Arabic from all over the world. Its web site is: www.arabacademy.com Its owners are: Sanaa Ghanem - www.arabacademy.com/ghanem Sheikh Saleh Kamel (you can check him out in wiki)
Our page explained the different services that we offered. I therefore do not see why you considered this page as unworthy of being in wiki. This page is quite similar to a number of other pages for other institutions in Egypt (or even those providing language training services in other languages).
Arab Academy provides high quality services and its program is being used by credible institutions in the United States. If you wish to have us provide you with our company profile or any further information, do let us know.
I do hope you release it back into wiki or at least let us know what you would like to see changed in it.

Speedy deletion of Duntocher Hibernian F.C.
[edit]I think you were a little too quick to SD this article. I was in the process of fixing the material when it disappeared. The article was linked to from Drumchapel Amateur F.C.. The original author of the page obviously made a mess of it but it was a valid and notable article. Inomyabcs (talk) 13:22, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I will restore it, but please fix it up quickly. NawlinWiki (talk) 13:23, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]You've deleted my wikipedia page on Movieviral.com for advertisement, however, the reason i created article is only for the history and informations on the site. I did NOT advertise it, there wasnt any message saying "come to our site, its great". My article is also very similar to the ones for other media sources like /films and Google. Please reconsider the article. Also, if you feel that certain parts of the article contain advertisement, please tell me so i can edit the page. (H3llo41 (talk) 19:40, 12 October 2009 (UTC))

Crocus ancyrensis
[edit]You recently deleted the above new article - it was not very big and was a very bad translation from (?Turkish or something) but I think there was the core of a genuine article in there somewhere. Hello again, NawlinWiki … regarding the {{Prod}} you stuck on this article, note that the subject is referenced from both List of Mensans and Mensa International, and its deletion would create redlinks … FYI, I'm thinking about contesting it. :-) Happy Editing! — 141.156.161.245 (talk · contribs) 04:08, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Oscar Wrigley, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it.
Predictive (talk) 21:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello NawlinWiki, I am curious to why the article on Dan Perry has been deleted, I believe the page should stay because of the recent press about him planning a new reality show and the fact he is classed as a celebrity, and wiki does have alot of pages on celebrities on wiki!
- There was no indication in the article that Mr. Perry met the notability standards of WP:BIO, or that this was supported by reliable independent sources per WP:V. Just saying that "he is classed as a celebrity" doesn't make him one. NawlinWiki (talk) 14:31, 13 October 2009 (UTC)`
- i did include references to various news websites including a local paper in Ayr to the work he has done with a you tube artist. there was also more to include involving references to him working with other you tube community artists and helping them build their careers as well. Spex1986 (talk) 15:55, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- No local papers were cited in the article. Even if they had been, a single mention in a local paper doesn't satisfy WP:V. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:22, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- multiple mentions can be included tou? i found a segment from the ayrshire post and the scottish sun would that count? Spex1986 (talk) 18:23, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Can you please rollback your deletion, and tag the article with NOTABLE and/or AFD? Georgia Chamber of Commerce page
[edit]This is in response to the speedy deletion of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce page. This page was not meant to be promotional, but rather a history of the organization and how we differ from local chambers of commerce. We could internally link to several different Wikipedia pages (see George M. Israel, III), and we have been featured in many state and national publications. Please advise as to how we can change our copy to reflect the Wikipedia rules. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyarber (talk • contribs) 14:18, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- The entire article is written in a non-neutral and promotional tone, with phrases like "has been an effective advocate for business", "ensuring that Georgia remains a place where companies can thrive", "has an enviable success rate", and "one of the most transformative and exciting efforts". Please read WP:NPOV and WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:06, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
Giuseppe Panza
[edit]I'd like to re-create the entry for Giuseppe Panza. As I understand it you deleted an earlier attempt at creating an entry for its failure to properly assert notability. Panza is a very highly regarded and well known collector, sufficiently so that Abbeville Press published a biography. I would think that this constitutes appropriate notability per WP criteria which, if properly asserted in creating the entry, would suffice. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks. Speedily Deleted Kyle Tress
[edit]Hi you recently deleted an entry for Kyle Tress, a notable World Cup skeleton athlete. Please see Matthias Guggenberger and explain the reasoning behind this deletion. Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jktress (talk • contribs) 03:14, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi, i noticed you page-move protected this article over a year ago. Would it be possible to get it unprotected, and see what happens? That majority of the article is about Spawning (the action) rather than Spawn (the product), so i wanted to rename it to that.YobMod 10:17, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
- Done, but please discuss the move on the article talk page first - all the incoming links are to the title as it is. NawlinWiki (talk) 12:41, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick action. Will do wrt the discussion. I noticed it as the fish nav box lins via a "Spawning" redirect.YobMod 14:18, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't get it. If Red Bull can have a page, why not Guru? Shall I delete the Red Bull page? Guru is listed on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_drink SylvainCarle (talk) 14:35, 29 October 2009 (UTC) SylvainCarle
The text on the article page is a direct copy and paste from here. Thus, I believe the copyvio is present. Basket of Puppies 15:28, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- No, it's rewritten as sentences, not just a list of achievements. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:44, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Nawlin, I would like to kindly ask you to look at the website that I am citing. Go to the section under "Research Interests". You will see that this entire section has been copied and pasted into the article. This is the copyvio I am speaking of. Sincerely, Basket of Puppies 16:04, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- I cut down that section. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Nawlin, I need your help! I'm not creating the Eat-Clean Diet page as a promotional page, but what can I do make it more informative and less promotional? I'm taking my examples of how to create the page from other pages on diets (it's my first wiki page so I'm trying to do it right), I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong! Please help! Atucci (talk) 16:04, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi again Nawlin! I've updated the page and changed a lot of the copy and added more references and links. Is it okay now? Please let me know, I really appreciate your help! Thank you! Atucci (talk) 16:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC) Thanks for the redirect. I've updated the Tosca Reno page, please let me know if it is okay! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atucci (talk • contribs) 18:16, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Tim Lee aka Tim 'Love' Lee
[edit]Please explain why you deleted my article. You need to give more time for updates and posting references. Tim 'Love' Lee is a significant and notable musician who definitely qualifies for an entry on Wikipedia. Please restore this page so that I may add more content and references.
thank you, Wowblox (talk) 16:20, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Those are better sources than the ones you had in the article. I've restored it and moved it to Tim Lee. Please add the sources and edit the article for more of a neutral point of view. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 16:27, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I replaced the history section with a my own text, added some references, i tried to cite in the text but am think I did something wrong as the citations don't seem to link up. Any suggestions? thanks! Wowblox (talk) 19:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I was still in the middle of working on it. Is it OK now? I think it now shows notability. --ToonGamer (talk) 18:55, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, much better now. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 19:15, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Tummy Touch Records
[edit]Could you bring back Tummy Touch Records? or at least email me a copy so I can work on it some more at home before posting it? It is related to Tim Lee, since it's his label.
thanks Wowblox (talk) 19:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Moved to your userspace at User:Wowblox/Tummy Touch Records. But I really think this should just be a redirect to Tim Lee -- it doesn't appear that this person is notable enough for *two* articles. NawlinWiki (talk) 19:39, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Jeff Chandler ( WordPress blogger )
[edit]The article was speed deleted while making it. I`m aware of the guidelines, but you must give us time to actually write and document the article before you delete. Theres no way for you to make a qualified decision before the article is completed. Where do I go from here ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnMyr (talk • contribs) 20:04, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Blogs such as WordPress are not considered reliable sources.
[edit]This statement from you does not make sense. WordPress is two publishing systems, and they are used to publish anything from personal sites to NYT articles and Government websites. You cant make a judgement on reliability by judging the publishing software. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnMyr (talk • contribs) 20:18, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
You also say: Your article cited only to things published on WordPress. Again, WordPress is a publishing system. Are you aware of the difference between the two systems ? Your claim is not correct. Published ON WordPress reffers to a publsihing CMS, not a source... —Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnMyr (talk • contribs) 20:22, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Your speedy deletion of this article under criterion A7 seems a bit dubious. Being a member of a notable band (The Fat Boys) is probably a credible claim of importance. Guest9999 (talk) 21:15, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but the entire text of the article was "He is a member of the Fat boys. The fat boys is an old school rap group.". I'm going to recreate as a redirect to The Fat Boys, until someone can flesh it out (so to speak) further. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 21:31, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Seems like a sensible decision, I've looked and can find precisely zero in terms of sourcing. Regards, Guest9999 (talk) 21:34, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hate to butt in, but typically (per WP:MUSIC), if all they are known for is being in a band, it's a redirect. If they have been in two notable bands, they have a separate article. Now thanks to talk page stalking, I have their version of The Twist in my head, and I don't see it leaving any time soon. Cheers. --kelapstick (talk) 21:39, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Ezra Friedlander at BLPN
[edit]I noticed that you deleted the article Ezra friedlander twice yesterday; the creator recreated it with a properly-capitalized title, and after I PROD'ed it someone else added a few references. I posted about it on BLPN, so I figured I should give you a heads up: [3] MirrorLockup (talk) 18:46, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
THIS (TV STATION)
[edit]What's the deal with THIS (TV STATION)? It properly shows the "There is no article" notice, but when I click the edit tab, it shows a semi-protection template and "Channel 3.2. More about THIS coming soon." Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 01:09, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Fake semiprotection tab for a TV station supposedly on "channel 3.2". Creator now blocked. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:10, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Any idea why it was showing up that way? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 01:23, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Dunno, probably something to do with you clicking it just as I deleted it. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion of Zombie Movie
[edit]Hi, I saw that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_Movie_(short_film) is up for deletion. The reasons are nonnotable short film and no independent sources. Now this page was just launched a day ago, so maybe adding more information gives reason not to delete the page.
Would adding more links to pages as:
- Reviews / interviews [4] [5] [6]
- Winner Best Horror Comedy Short Film, Screamfest LA 2005 [7] and Best Short Film, New York City Horror Film Festival 2005 [8]
give the page more reason for existence, or should it be moved to a subsection (such as Trivia) of e.g. Valve / Steam / Weta workshop ? Leastdoors (talk) 10:39, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
The Polish Ambassador
[edit]Hello Nawlin',
I was in the process of listing references for this musician (The Polish Ambassador) when the editing came back that the article was deleted. I understand that there is a very small window for which articles can exist, but is it possible to recreate this article using what few references I have? It seems that despite my best efforts to get feedback from the Wiki Community my only option was to move forward.
David Sugalski is a musician and video artist that people are having a hard time getting information on. If musicians or bands have a page up (anyone from Crystal Castles or even Aphex Twin), he too should have a page. He has released 3 albums, in the process of his fourth, and will be performing at SXSW in 2010.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinsalive (talk • contribs) 11:49, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion of Timmy Show
[edit]Why did you delete my article on The Timmy Show? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MattMKelley (talk • contribs) 19:52, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Because it didn't cite any sources to establish that this show actually will be produced. Wikipedia isn't for rumors. See WP:CRYSTAL. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Does this look kosher to you? I am always somewhat suspicious when I see a new user whose only edits have been on their own user page. In this case, it seems the user page is being used for advertising some group called The Family. This, it seems to me, is not the intended purpose of a user page. The user page is not an end in itself, it is to be used to aid in the editing of the encyclopedia. I am tempted to blank this per WP:NOTMYSPACE, but I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 03:34, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi. I just wondered why you deleted this. Neither of the deletion reasons you gave really applied. Epbr123 (talk) 10:57, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
