Speedy deletion nomination of Jacksonville Ninja
[edit]A tag has been placed on Jacksonville Ninja requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Jacksonville Ninja
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Jacksonville Ninja. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jacksonville Ninja. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:04, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:J crew.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:J crew.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fred the Oyster (talk) 20:31, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi, please read WP:BLP. All biographies of living persons must include reliable sources to prove the claims mad ein the article. Woogee (talk) 19:45, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Your Mali Hookah picture
[edit]First, the fact that you say this picture of two white guys and two black guys was taken by you in Mali is fine, but every picture taken in Mali is not needed to illustrate the article about the country. I'm sure there are hookah bars in Mali, but I don't remember seeing any. Do you think Hookah bars, a largely Levantine phenomenon are distinctly "Malian" enough to merit illustrating the Culture of Mali section? Where in Mali was it taken, by the way?
Also, I'll assume English is not your native language, but "Men enjoy a hookah and each other in a Mali bar" reads as a pretty obvious sexual double entendre in English. Change it to something else.
So what do we have? Four men in a dark room smoking an Arab water pipe, at least two of whom are not Malian, with a double entendre for a caption. This doesn't look helpful or accurate to me. In such situations, you should take this to the talk page BEFORE reinserting it multiple times, or take it to one of the administrative noticeboards. Develop a consensus of editors if this image is or is not a useful illustration for the article Mali. T L Miles (talk) 21:13, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
File:MaliHookah.JPG listed for deletion
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:MaliHookah.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Ron Johnson (Wisconsin)

to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jon Stinchcomb may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
