Use of succession boxes

[edit]

I don't understand your use of succession boxes on some of the Cleveland radio stations. For example, why is there a succession box for 850 AM on the WHK (AM) page, when WHK was never on 850 AM? --Hillrhpc 02:35, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is there so as to point out the scope of the 2001 station swap that occured on the AM dial. Granted, WHK never was at 850, but WRMR's format - and eventally, the call letters - moved to 1420 in 2001, which was the first and current home to WHK.

Also, by 2005 - with WHK's call sign return to 1420 but it's format staying at 1220, and the signoff of WRMR in the process - it has become way to complicated to discern. WRMR is listed (and rightfully so) as a defunct station. I hope this makes sense. --Nathan Obral 25 January 2007
