[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to Rigveda appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Pundarikakshan Perumal Temple, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Pandya dynasty, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. SKAG123 (talk) 20:10, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- The Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval temple and Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram belong to the Chola land and Chola architecture. The Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram has Chola and Kerala Architecture and Not Pandyan architecture[1], The Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval also has evidence of Chola architecture [2] That was the reason I did replace them with the temples built by Pandyas. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dravidian architecture into Hindu temple architecture. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 01:14, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mahishasuramardini Mandapa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lotus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

Friendly advice
[edit]@Narayanan Iyengar Greetings and welcome to Wikipedia. I came across your profile from your edits to Pandya dynasty. Looking at your contributions I would suggest following things.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia governed by multiple policies and ideal practices, for you it's likely to take some time to get acquainted and usually that is a long drawn process.
- Hence at least for couple of months discuss your proposed edits at the article talk pages. And edit in draft and user space.
- Do not be in haste to prove your point, avoid reverting in content dispute even if some other user engages in revert. Open a discussion at the article talk pages and discuss your points.
- Be editorially neutral meaning there by, do not let your perceptions (superiority or inferiority complexes) regarding human identities like caste/ religion / language / nationalism affect your editing. Avoid personal opinions but look only for reliable sources which would pass muster of Wikipedia community.
- Any content / sentence has to remain relatable and verifiable to specific cited inline reference. Avoid adding content which is not mentioned in related cited inline reference.
I hope following above points would help in your Wikipedia editing journey in times to come. Wish you happy editing.

POV editing
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your contributions. However, please avoid overdoing certain changes, such as adding Vishnu temple images in all infoboxes. Certain places are known for places of worship (e.g., Namakkal is known for Anchaneyar Temple, Madurai for Meenakshi Temple, Tirupathi for Venkateshwara Temple, Velankanni for Velankanni Matha Church, Nagore for Nagore Dharga, and so forth) while other places are known for other landmarks (beaches, lakes, rivers, mountains, etc.). Replacing Chengalpet Lake with Eri-Katha Ramar Temple seems fine in my opinion (which I think is more well known). However, Parthasarathy Temple may not necessarily be the lead image for Chennai district, especially when it already has the more familiar image of the Marina. Likewise, replacing Coimbatore's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium with Ranganathaswamy temple (when we already have another more important landmark, the Perur temple, in that montage) is not prudent. Also you need not necessarily replace every Shiva/Murugan temple with a Vishnu temple (e.g., replacing Coimbatore district's Marudhamalai temple with Karamadai Ranganathaswamy temple), especially when the former is well known. When there is none, it's absolutely fine to add one, but when there is already a famous landmark (e.g., a Shiva or Murugan temple in this case), please avoid replacing it with perhaps your favorite ones. This might give the appearance of POV editing. I'm reverting some of them. In case you're not sure, please start a discussion on the talk page to get other editors' views. Thank you again for all your contributions. Rasnaboy (talk) 09:50, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, this pattern seems to be across the board. See Talk:Purananuru#Ramayana. We do not have a lot of editors who can clean up several of these articles. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 07:03, 21 September 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hello Sir/Madam, it's unfortunate that I got blocked within feed days of staying active and making efforts to become a better contributor here. I have read through the findings of the investigation and I now understand the reason why I was blocked. Henceforth, I will avoid doing anything that could link me to abuses. I appeal to be unblocked as I have understood the platform better and have prepared articles on notable subjects I would like to work on. I was blocked for creating multiple accounts and i regret performing such actions, i promise i will not create more accounts. I created several articles and made several contributions to Wikipedia. I have several more articles to create on main topics like Vedic and Tamil Literature. All the information I added to the articles were so useful even for historians but unfortunately all the information and articles has been deleted. Vedic and Tamil literature are one of the oldest literatures in the world and many important informations were not mentioned in these articles, my main goal to create this account was to add more informations. I added several citations and created many articles but all are deleted. I understand what I did was wrong but please forgive me and I will not repeat this mistake, i am so sorry. I had plans to create several more articles on Vedic religion, Tamil literature and add many other references to many articles, so Please do consider my request and please unblock my user, This is a request from my side. Sorry and Thank you Narayanan Iyengar (talk) 01:24, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
