Speedy deletion nomination of User:Bobjoebobjoebobjoe
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Bobjoebobjoebobjoe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Vision (Marvel Comics) into Vision (Jonas). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:27, 22 March 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Denver20. I noticed that you recently removed content from Frog-Man without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Unexplained deletions
[edit]Hello. Why are you removing large amounts of text (e.g. here and here)? Please stop doing so immediately and read the following before proceeding. Note that individual list entries need not satisfy General notability guidelines and notability guidelines do not apply to content within an article. Please see Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists, notability of stand-alone lists, and WP:LISTCRITERIA. Continued behavior like this may result in temporary, indefinite, or permanent blocks to your account. And please, before making large-scale, unilateral deletions, seek consensus on article talk pages or relevant projects such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics. If you have any questions, please ask me on my Talk page or reply here. Cheers. --Animalparty! (talk) 23:08, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- Note: I have reverted several of your wholesale deletions, even though some subsequent edits were in good faith and constructive. But you've left quite a mess. Please consider re-adding content you've removed. Note that many, if not all, deleted entries have redirects and/or complex edit histories. Again, minor characters do not need to meet WP:GNG, or any notability guidelines to be on a list: indeed, mergers to lists such as these are common alternatives to deletion. Complete lists of verifiable notable and non-notable characters can also function as an index or glossary to articles. --Animalparty! (talk) 23:37, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Marvel Comics characters: S, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MC2 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Marvel Comics characters removal
[edit]Hi. In light of your purging of some Marvel Comics characters, I have made comments in the discussion whose subsection I had to add in Argento Surfer's link. For some of the characters you removed, I suggest that you either move some of them to the teams that they are mostly a member of like the Savage Land Mutates and the Nasty Boys or revive the List of minor Marvel Comics characters page and transfer those you removed to that page with the redirects going there once it is done. I'm just making a suggestion here. What do you think? --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:13, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

I am thinking this should be merged but I am not sure where. Any thoughts?Jhenderson 777 21:13, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Jhenderson777: The most sensible target would seem to be the character's entry on List of Marvel Comics Golden Age characters. I'm not sure how much would actually need to be merged, though. Namenamenamenamename (talk) 21:30, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
[edit]In 2018 you tagged the article Abraham Whistler for notability.[1] I'd appreciate if you could help improve the article or nominate it for deletion if you believe it does not pass the notability requirements of WP:GNG. I'd like to settle one way or the other and not risk working on an article that is likely to be deleted.
I've recently been trying to make some small improvements to article, but an anonymous editor keeps using the article as a WP:COATRACK to complain about whitewashing.
This account appears to be inactive, this user last made an edit 19 September 2020 but I'm asking anyway and I'll allow some time for a response. -- 109.78.201.165 (talk) 15:56, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nia Noble until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
