Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of From Dusk till Dawn characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jesse Johnson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Moving articles

[edit]

Per WP:Requested moves, you shouldn't move an article when the move is likely to be contested. In the case of Legal status of drawn pornography depicting minors, it is something that should be discussed on the article's talk page first. I moved the article back. Hello, I'm CASSIOPEIA. I noticed that in this edit to Life imprisonment, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:22, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!

Hello, the svg map is replaced with png when you updated the map. Can you upload the source file instead if you still have it? Also note that the US does not have federal law against fictional child pornography, so like other pornography it falls under the Miller's test and state laws. At least California should be coloured in yellow. HXMtxBM7 (talk) 10:52, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Thank you for your concerns. I'm not very good with handling SVG maps so I uploaded a different PNG map instead. I think that even if I edited that previous SVG map, it would not change the poor, blurry visual quality it had. If you think the map should be in SVG, I'm pretty sure it's possible to convert this new map I made to SVG, but I don't know how to do it.
Anyway, I've changed the US from orange to yellow (Commons may take some hours to process the change). If we have enough information about each state, we can change the map to cover state laws instead of the federal law by adding state borders to it. If you know where to find that information and think it should be done, please let me know. - Munmula (talk), second account of Alumnum 19:52, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Dolly (company)

[edit]

Hello, Munmula,

Thank you for creating Dolly (company).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

If you could add sources for the company's origins that would be great.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Willsome429}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Please note these special rules for climate change articles

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in climate change. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.  Bishonen | talk 15:55, 6 January 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Revertive case

[edit]

Hello Munmula. I noticed that an article you created, revertive case, had no sources cited. I tried to find some sources for it, but didn't have any luck. All the sources I was able to find about Manchu grammar only mention 5 cases and don't include revertive. The only other mention of "revertive case" that I've been able to find is a brief mention in the Manchu language article that was added by an account that hasn't edited Wikipedia since 2006 (and also doesn't cite any sources). Do you happen to remember where you got your information from for the article? Kaldari (talk) 19:05, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I created that and a couple of other stubs about grammatical cases a long time ago with the purpose of making some red links in this list blue and in the hope that someone would later expand them and add sources (unfortunately, they changed very little since then). I used the same text for all of them with only two variables: what they indicated and the languages in which they were found, both taken from that same (unsourced) list. As per my research, the original addition to the table of the revertive case, along with other Manchu cases, was made in 2006 by User:N-true, whose last edit was a little more than a month ago. I took the liberty of asking him about that on his talk page. - Munmula (talk), second account of Alumnum 20:32, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi I’ve just reviewed Caralho. Thanks for your work on this article. It needs more inline citations rather than just a bibliography and a couple of refs. If you are able to add more inline citations that will be great. Also some of the content seems to be translated from pt.wiki. If this is so, the translation template must be placed on the article’s talk page. All the best

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Cryptopunks general.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vladlen Manilov / 16:03, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have a question for you. Are you going to fix the "Ancient Rome" article? I've tried, but I'm having a hard time resolving the lack of sources warnings. Would you be able, over time, to fix the article ? I ask you because I saw from the history of the article that you contributed a lot to the article. Regards. Hello. I was going to work on that right now, but it seems you already fixed it. Do you still need help? - Munmula (talk), second account of Alumnum 19:30, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of fiction featuring human-dinosaur coexistence, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 22:20, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The claim that Esperanto is male by default

[edit]

Hello, you undid my sourced contribution to Comparison between Esperanto and Ido by claiming it is unsourced(?). If you read Plena Manlibro de Esperanta Gramatiko 2022 (PMEG), the most well-respected and (and de facto the) grammar guide of Esperanto, which I sourced, you will see that Esperanto being gendered is no longer the case. Right here, as a matter of fact. Specifically, it mentions that only certain words like 'brother', 'king', 'gentleman' and such are gendered as male, with their feminine counterparts being inherently female. You will notice that barring these exceptions, words can be made specifically male with the vir- prefix. If you are not convinced, I would like to see sources to the contrary, but note that you will need to edit Esperanto vocabulary#Gender and Gender reform in Esperanto#Gender in Esperanto, which contain claims that are in line with PMEG's stance to avoid inconsistent claims across different Wikipedia articles. Thank you. 195.155.171.170 (talk) 05:04, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I edited in a hurry and didn't notice that you actually sourced it. Well, that sounds convincing to me, but we would need to see the opinion of other users. Thanks for uploading File:Dinho-mamonas.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Hello, Munmula

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username SailingInABathTub, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, The Mask (short story), for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SailingInABathTub}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Your contributed article, The Mask (short story)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, The Mask (short story). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – The Mask. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Mask. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. CycloneYoris talk! 00:02, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable non-free use File:Dolly logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dolly logo.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
