[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lux Style Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alif. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Nagol0929 (talk) 18:09, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Muhammad Ahmad SM, I will second this warning, but also thank you for removing the awards that don't appear to be supported by the sources. However, your edit was also problematic. First, you removed good viable sources that supported the awards. A core principle of Wikipedia is that readers should be able to verify material in articles which is done by adding sources/references to the articles. If you remove the sources, the information is liable to be removed as unsourced. You also changed the layout of the table and removed very useful information. There isn't a defined standard for awards, but in most high quality articles, awards are in a table with columns for Year, Award, Category, Recipient(s), Result and finally Reference. Your edit to Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan [1] remove several of those columns and left the reader confused. There's a category, but for what Award? Which year? How can they verify this?
- You've been adding awards to a lot of articles, but often (if not always) without any references and not following the usual layout. You're misusing bold in many of those edits (see MOS:BOLD) as well. Your edits are in good faith, but they needs to be sourced and follow the conventional layout. Ravensfire (talk) 20:49, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, you may be blocked from editing. —Bruce1eetalk 06:54, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello my friend. You do not appear familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. In particular, Wikipedia requires citations to reliable and authoritative third-party sources. Two good sets of Wikipedia guidelines that I have found really useful can be found HERE, regarding verifiability and HERE, regarding the need to maintain a neutral point of view. George Custer's Sabre (talk) 06:01, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
Awards and nominations
[edit]Wikipedia works on ”verifiability, not truth” as a guiding principle. This policy states that “Wikipedia's content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors. Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it. That we have rules for the inclusion of material does not mean Wikipedians have no respect for truth and accuracy, just as a court's reliance on rules of evidence does not mean the court does not respect truth. Wikipedia values accuracy, but it requires verifiability.” George Custer's Sabre (talk) 15:40, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- I'm posting this here because I've observed that DESPITE several warnings, you continue to add WP:OR as well sources that are clearly unreliable as citations on topics related to BLPs and Pakistan. It's important to remember that BLPs and Pakistan-related topics fall under WP:CTOPICS and editing in this area should be approached with care. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 08:02, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- I’ve noticed you’re still adding WP:OR using unreliable sources. If you’re not going to respond or stop your editing, which is now seen as disruptive, I’ll have no choice but to report the issue to an admin . — Saqib (talk I contribs) 16:49, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
