Release dates in film infoboxes
[edit]Per WP:FILMRELEASE, please don't add Australian release dates to the infoboxes of films that are not Australian. The infobox would get full of random release dates if we did that for every film and every country. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:54, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Talking Tom And Friends: The Movie GLOBAL WARMING DESTRUCTION
[edit]Hello Money12122,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Talking Tom And Friends: The Movie GLOBAL WARMING DESTRUCTION for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Excuse me, I need to explain. I know I don’t seem like Money12122, but I retired from being that user and started a new account because everything was going wrong with Money12122. I created that because I wanted Outfit7 to create a TTAF movie, so I emailed them. It was not confirmed and I don’t think they’re gonna make it now, I give up. Your contributed article, The Boss Baby 2(movie)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, The Boss Baby 2(movie). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – The Boss Baby#Sequel. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Boss Baby#Sequel. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. IntoThinAir (formerly Everymorning) talk 03:19, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
Off to a bad start?
[edit]I saw the request for help on your new user page. Normally, other editors won't touch your user page, that's for you. So I'm responding here.
You mention the word "disrespect" several times, but you may be misinterpreting other editor's actions. When you do things on Wikipedia the are not following the rules, you can expect they will be promptly reverted or deleted. I see that you've been trying to create new articles, but creating new articles is quite difficult. Have you gone through the tutorial materials at the Wikipedia Adventure and your first article? Have you learned about the importance of sources and how to cite them Help:referencing for beginners? I can't see your deleted pages, but lack of proper referencing is one thing that will get a newly written article deleted faster than anything else.
Some of your edits have been working to improve other articles rather than to create new ones, but it's not always clear that you are working from documented sources with your changes. For instance, the edit you made at Just Dance 2014 Diff/846942414 made a correct call on the Rhianna song Where Have You Been but claimed that She Wolf (Falling to Pieces) had also been released in 2011 rather than 2012 – but there's no reference to back up this claim, and the page for "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" still says 2012. Making changes based on your own knowledge, without being able to reference published sources, is a big Wiki no-no.
So what's the deal with creating a blank user page for Marcello18799?
So I don't think there's been any disrespect intended. People have just been correcting what they see as well-intentioned mistakes and perhaps not always giving you the proper sort of feedback so you can do better in the future. In general, if you don't understand why an action was taken, if the edit summary is not clear enough or the talk page message seems too brusque, please ask. You can ask the person who performed the action or you can ask at a friendly place like the Teahouse. I can't speak for every single editor on WP, but there are a lot of us who are eager to help new editors get up to speed and contributing to this great encyclopedia. As you learn the ropes, I hope you'll begin to understand some of the reasons behind the rules and guidelines. And where you feel they can be improved, the community has a way for you to suggest improvements and persuade other editors that the change really would be an improvement. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:44, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Buddo Productions
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Buddo Productions, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Money12122. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Buddo Productions, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Special:Diff/874374094 Cabayi (talk) 21:55, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

My Talking Tom 2 moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, My Talking Tom 2, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hello, I'm Dorsetonian. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on G Flip, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Dorsetonian (talk) 07:16, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Dorsetonian (talk) 07:18, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to G Flip. See WP:BURDEN and do not restore without a ref. Be sure to check out whether gay is the same as queer. Dorsetonian (talk) 22:19, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Dorsetonian (talk) 06:50, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- This is a group project, and you need to be able to collaborate with others. If you have a certain view about article content, you need to discuss on the article talk page and bring any independent reliable sources to support your claims. You should not post attacks and insults on your user page. Doing so will get you blocked quickly and you will then be unable to participate in adding what you feel is needed. 331dot (talk) 07:46, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
