Speedy deletion nomination of Regulating the regulators
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Regulating the regulators requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.dawn.com/news/1232160. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sunmist3 (talk) 05:49, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.dawn.com/news/1179751. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
Speedy deletion nomination of Advantages of Cost Audit
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Advantages of Cost Audit, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Proposed deletion of Multi-Dimensional Role of Management Accountants in Resolving Present Power Crisis in Pakistan
[edit]The article Multi-Dimensional Role of Management Accountants in Resolving Present Power Crisis in Pakistan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Reads like an essay, not an encyclopedic article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Omni Flames (talk) 06:16, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP)/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Advantages of Cost Audit. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP), where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:
please unblock me so i can edit on Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk • contribs) 7:20 am, Today (UTC+2)
Decline reason:
Today, Gestrid wrote to you here: An example of a bad reason is "Please unblock me so I can edit Wikipedia."
Exactly 24 minutes later, you made this request and used exactly the same bad sentence. Are you even reading what others write to you? As you were already told, there are two issues here: WP:copyright violations and WP:Sockpuppetry. You have to show us that you understand those issues, that you understand why you were blocked, and that you will not continue such behavior. Just saying "unblock me" is not enough. You have to show us that you know how to behave when unblocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 12:42, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Reviewing Administrator: Please take a look near the bottom of User talk:Iqbal Ghori (P)#UTRS Account Request when you review this block. -- Gestrid (talk) 05:55, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
I have concerns about the editor's ability to edit here in a useful way and if he understands Wikipedia is not the place for his personal writings. [1] Mohammad Iqbal Ghori, what exactly do you want to edit? Can you give an example? --NeilN talk to me 06:59, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- I have just declined an unblock request at User talk:Iqbal Ghori (P) (and have revoked talk page access there) so I will not review this one. But I see no acknowledgement at all of the reason for the block (at either account), and judging by discussions from both accounts I'm really not seeing much understanding of the way Wikipedia works (and only limited understanding of explanations given in pretty simple English). I'd like to see an understanding of why the socking was a problem, and an actual example of what this editor hopes to do here. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:16, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- It's not just the socking. There also needs to be a clear understanding of our copyright policy and an undertaking to stop adding blatant copyright violations as articles. All their contributions so far have been copyvio. This is taking up yet more editor and administrator time. Voceditenore (talk) 09:10, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
ok now i understand the issues now i want to edit my profile here. am i able to edit something?
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 04:37, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
- "ok now i understand the issues now i want to edit my profile here." - I don't think you understand what Wikipedia is for. As Boing! said Zebedee asked, give us an actual example of how you're going to help Wikipedia. --NeilN talk to me 04:54, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
ok i will provide an example soon.. actually i m working on it and will provide you soon
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 06:01, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
I am elected as a president of ICMA Pakistan on 5th June 2016. I am also a fellow member of ICMA and a council for the period of 2015-17. I was serving in the capacity of vice-president, chairman of Exa mination and also a committee member of Research and Publications. I am also performing as a chairman of SAFA committee on Governmental and Public Sector Enterprises Accounting.
I have significant exposure in the business planning, financial modeling, performance monitoring, commercialization of electric utility, management accounting and budgeting, development of tariff methodology, regulatory affairs, bringing awareness about energy conservation, and launching an energy conservation campaign which brought visible results and mobilized the positive public opinion.
this is the example
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 09:57, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- So, you actually want to write about yourself? You should know by now that Wikipedia does not allow writing autobiographies (see: WP:AUTOBIO). Vanjagenije (talk) 10:36, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
ok so i can provide an article that are not published any where that will acceptable or not ??
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 11:04, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- I don't understand your question at all. What we accept here in Wikipedia are well sourced articles about notable topics, written neutrally, and written in your own words (not copy-pasted). Are you able to write such an article? Vanjagenije (talk) 11:11, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
actually i want to upload my own article but all my articles are already published.. so those articles are not acceptable here right? yes i can write such article.. i just want to unblock my account as soon as possible
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 11:15, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Are you sure those are encyclopedic articles? Encyclopedic article is not the same thing as a scientific article (See: WP:What is an article?). Wikipedia is not a place to publish your own research (see: WP:No original research). Wikipedia is an encyclopedia whose aim purpose is to summarize knowledge on certain notable topics, knowledge that was already published by wp:reliable sources. It seams to me that the articles you tried to publish here in Wikipedia are not encyclopedic articles. Those are scientific articles that research certain topics or correlation between two or more topics, but those are not suitable for an encyclopedia. That is not such a big problem per se, we have many new Wikipedia editors who do not understand how Wikipedia works, and that is normal. What is the problem is that you were warned numerous times here, on this page, to stop publishing such articles, but you disregarded all those warnings and just kept publishing. When you were blocked (to stop you from disrupting the encyclopedia), you even created new user account and continued publishing inappropriate articles. That is a big problem. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and we do not want people who are not willing to listed to others. So, our trust in you is heavily compromised. If you want to be unblocked, you have to (a) show us that you understand what Wikipedia is for, (b) promise not to create inappropriate articles in the future, and (c) show us example of your intended edits. Vanjagenije (talk) 11:35, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've examined your deleted articles Regulating the regulators, Myth of independent PSE directors and Advantages of Cost Audit, and I agree with Vanjagenije that articles of that kind are not appropriate for Wikipedia. They are clearly your own original work - and as an encyclopedia, Wikipedia does not publish original work. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:59, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
can you provide me a guidance about the notable topics on which Wikipedia accept articles?? actually i m confused about on which topic i can write article
Mohammad Iqbal Ghori (President ICMAP) (talk) 04:54, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- We can't really define which article topics Wikipedia will accept as notable, as there are literally millions of them and nobody can really say whether something is notable until after it has been proposed - so it really is up to you to think of something to write about and then check for yourself whether it satisfies the requirements described at WP:N (and please do check the subject-specific guidelines box at the top right of that page). One thing you could do is look at Wikipedia:Requested articles, which lists topics that people have requested, and see if there's anything there that you're interested in (though they're mostly pretty obscure topics and only represent a tiny fraction of the topics that we still do not have). They should in theory all be notable topics, but it would still be your responsibility to check by comparing with the actual notability guidelines and searching to see if you can find suitable reliable sources (see WP:RS). Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:56, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Wikipedia has its own inclusion criteria called WP:NOTABILITY. Wikipedia only accepts article on topics that have received significant coverage in several reliable sources (feel free to click those links and read them). But, we just report what reliable sources say on the topic. We are not allowed to use reliable sources to draw our own conclusions (that is called WP:Original research). We are also not allowed to combine parts of different sources so to make new meaning that can't be found in original sources (that is called WP:Synthesis). Every part of the article should be WP:referenced to a reliable source that can verify the statement. Also, every article has its WP:scope and it is generally not good to have two articles whose scopes are too similar, or to have an article whose scope is too narrow. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:05, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
ok thank you so much.. your information is really helpful for me...
