Speedy deletion nomination of KJLR
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on KJLR requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Virginia moves
Hey, thanks for doing those moves for WSWV, WHNQ, and WXLZ. I appreciate it. :) - Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:14, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thumbs up! Just trying to work through the backlog as I get the time. Mlaffs (talk) 15:17, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Mlaffs and @Neutralhomer just jumping in here because I came across WSWV (AM) during WP:NPP and wanted to ensure the infobox was correct in the timeline. Currently, WSWV (AM) doesn't have a citation for the WHNQ call sign and the timeline is listed 2022–2024, but the WHNQ dab page says former. Was former meaning that it ends in 2024? It's in the infobox but not mentioned in the article and there is no citation, so I just wanted to double check. Thanks, microbiologyMarcus (petri dish·growths) 16:58, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Fair comment, @MicrobiologyMarcus. It definitely is correct, but I've added a narrative paragraph about the history of the call sign changes, and references both there and in the infobox to make it clearer. Mlaffs (talk) 19:15, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
