Do not disregard consensus to not use video thumbnails as cover artworks

[edit]

Hello AllTheUsernamesAreInUse. As it appears you are unaware, there was a consensus to not use Hazbin Hotel video thumbnails or "scenes" from these videos in the cover= or image= parameter in the infobox at Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2024_February_27#File:Poison_Song_Cover_Image.jpeg. Now that you have been made aware of the consensus, please do not ignore it and move the images back to the infobox. Thank you. Ss112 03:10, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ss112:I was completely unaware of those discussions. I was simply trying to make the images more visible, but now that I've seen the discussions, I will respect them, no problem. Thanks for notifying me. Though I can't say I much appreciate the apparent assumption of bad faith in your edit summaries... AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 03:17, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Incidents

[edit]

Hello AllTheUsernamesAreInUse. It seems that the administrators sided with me on this, as I'm reading that your attacks on me were deemed unwarranted. I advise that you remember the purpose of Wikipedia rather than instigating senseless arguments. Wikipedia is meant to spread knowledge to the world, not to further your agenda. I wish you well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samuelrclaesson (talkcontribs) 02:00, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How did you interpret the ANI discussion as a victory for you? The one admin to comment said that they felt neutral and wouldn't take action. And when did I attack you? You called us "morons" and said we "lack accomplishment" in our real lives, while making political accusations against us without evidence, while I merely pointed this out and said that I suspected possible sock/meat puppetry. My "agenda" is to keep Wikipedia free of unnotable content. If you prove notable in the future, then I'd be glad to see you get an unbiased article. Writing articles about yourself or relatives isn't allowed either. I hope you can edit in the future with a clearer idea of our rules in mind while not using attacks and accusations as a first resort. AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 02:10, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The administrators sided with me, not you. You can be bitter about it, or you can forget about it. Samuelrclaesson (talk) 03:38, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not bitter. The admin said "I'm not going ot [sic] take action against the subject at this stage as I believe frustration ends with the article" in addition to closing the Samuel Claesson article as delete. They did not pick sides. I don't know what you see that I don't. AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 03:40, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:46, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
