Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Hadi Haidar. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 11:23, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Peter Gwargis article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 09:33, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, I didn't provide a source for my edit to the Peter Gwargis article because I assumed since it was already referenced by someone before me (the third source, by the World Game) I wouldn't need to do it again, but I'm happy to use that same reference which was used in the Early and Personal Life section. Thank you for your help! User:MisterWiki2K 16:18, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: probably didn't see your reply, I don't think he watches Talk pages where he has commented. It probably is best the reuse the reference. :-) Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:21, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- That source says he is of Iraqi descent. It does not say he is eligible to play for Iraq. GiantSnowman 09:48, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: probably didn't see your reply, I don't think he watches Talk pages where he has commented. It probably is best the reuse the reference. :-) Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:21, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
Capitalisation of section headings
[edit]Hi there. Thanks for your work at Kevin Yakob. I corrected the capitalisation of section headings there, among other things. Sentence case, not title case, should be used; see MOS:HEADCAPS for details. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:19, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Hadi Haidar
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hadi Haidar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hadi Haidar. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ~ Amkgp 💬 14:13, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
2020–21 Al-Zawraa SC season moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2020–21 Al-Zawraa SC season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, MisterWiki2K
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Eagleash, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Hadi Awis, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Eagleash}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of Hadi Haidar
[edit]Hello, MisterWiki2K,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Hadi Haidar, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

The last time this page was deleted was due to the Iraqi Premier League not meeting the requirements as a professional league according to Wikipedia guidelines. That has since changed and the Iraqi Premier League is now considered a professional league and this player meets all requirements, making him eligible. MisterWiki2K (talk) 09:08, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Hadi Haidar, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. I've warned you before about recreation of previously deleted pages without addressing the underlying reasons for the deletion. This is disruptive and may result in a block if you continue to do so. Sir Sputnik (talk) 00:02, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
Why do you constantly feel the need to attack and break down every contribution I try to make without even bothering to check up on it first? For the past ten months I have put so much time and effort into trying to expand Wikipedia’s reach while doing my best to keep within the Wikipedia guidelines and respect all the rules that have been set in place. My proof lies in my edit history where everyone can see that I have never made any intentionally disruptive edits or non-serious contributions as well as all the detailed and accurate pages I have created. And whilst there have been many reviews and checks and conversations between myself and many users, your username (and one other user) is the one that stands out in always trying to knock me down and get every contribution I make erased and I was understanding as I imagine you encounter many disruptive people on a daily basis but I have been so patient and have been persistent in trying to improve Wikipedia’s information in my field and it has become clear to me that certain people have power over others that they can abuse without consequence, judging by your interactions with countless other users that I have seen through your conversations and propositions for deletion, and the only reason I am writing this is to make you aware that you have succeeded in pushing me away from Wikipedia. I really wanted to make a difference and give Iraqi football fans the same platform most fans have when researching their league or players, but all my hard work keeps being flushed away and it’s very draining so there is no point in me trying to contribute anymore. I hope this helps you in the future when rushing into decisions. MisterWiki2K (talk) 09:23, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

I’m trying to work out how you came to the conclusion that this player has not played in a fully pro league when he is the first choice goalkeeper for the defending champions of the Iraqi Premier League, which is a fully pro league according to Wikipedia’s updated guidelines, and has played in the AFC Champions League as well as several other domestic and international competitions and been called up to the senior national team after having played for youth national teams at AFC tournaments. This player by far meets the requirements and it seems you only proposed this page for deletion because I created it. MisterWiki2K (talk) 09:12, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ammar Ghalib
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ammar Ghalib requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
