Somaliland Comments
On the one hand, you have the right, in accordance with talk page policy, to remove my talk page notices from your talk page. On the other hand, I am not sure why you think that it is necessary. Policy permits the deletion of talk page notes but prefers archival. Also, once a dispute resolution thread is opened, it is up to the volunteer moderator when it should be closed. I am waiting for concurrence from the other parties. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:49, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- All the parties agree that it should remain a stub. But point taken. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
Piracy in the Gulf of Aden
I think it might be worth mentioning if you are prepared to do the work to make the content of the Piracy in Somalia content fit the new title. GregKaye 14:27, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Help out, bruh
Explain to the High IQ chap on my page that Somalis don't really have any "Arab" ancestry as per Hodgson & Pagani or just re-affirm what I posted if you wish. No need to "agree" with my blog post (I know you don't...) but otherwise this guy is being a real ignorant troll here, cracks me up if anything but yeah. I'm sorry for being late with the pirates issue btw. Just got free today. I'll post soon. Awale-Abdi (talk) 22:53, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
I added a post to that discussion on piracy. I hope it helps... Join in on a discussion at the Walashma page (the very end) if you wish. I don't think any of these people grasp that these genealogies while "Arab" are Somali as they're ones for example Somalis would otherwise have. You and I are both familiar with the genetic nature of Somalis-> we don't have any real Arab admixture ( we're all by majority E-V32 or T-M184-> neither is an 'Arabian marker' so we couldn't have had Arabian male clan founders of course) at all so I.M Lewis' hunch back in the day was quite correct that these genealogies are just devised for religious reasons. Notice of No Original Research Noticeboard discussion
Hello, Middayexpress. This message is being sent to inform you that a discussion is taking place at Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Zekenyan (talk) 18:22, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
Intervention
I think both a military intervention (sending an army to maintain peace) and protecting ethnic Somalis are both good things, but how will they evacuate 400,000 people? Are they talking about people in the city, refuge camps, or both? It seems that there might be over 800,000 Somalis actually in Yemen! If this is successful, then it's a huge turing point in Somali history! To help out Somalis and other Arabs is a good change. AcidSnow (talk) 23:44, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

Piracy in Somalia move
As I'm sure you've seen, the discussion of your suggested move of Piracy in Somalia failed to reach consensus. Any thoughts on a next move? I thought about suggesting Piracy off the coast of Somalia, which I reckon might attract wider support than previous suggestions. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:01, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
- There was no consensus, which means that the page stays at "Piracy in Somalia" for now per the page move policy. The other modern piracy pages' titles should probably be brought in line with it per WP:NAMINGCRITERIA. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 15:55, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Regarding your reply to my comment, now archived here, I realise that there was no consensus. My point was that we could always suggest an alternative title that wasn't discussed in the original move discussion, and which might receive wider support. That's presuming you're not happy with the current title? Cordless Larry (talk) 19:25, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- It's an unsatisfactory title, but it is what it is. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 19:35, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Dadaab
It just boggels my mind how little some people think of human lives. Amongst the many things that people in Kenya are suggesting including shut down camps. Not only is that crazy it appears that not everyone there is from Somalia nor are they ethnic Somalis. They have people Burundi, the Congo, Uganda, etc as well. Do you know why the brought Nilotics from South Sudan? But back to the subject matter, this is simply crazy. Not send these people away. If you don't want Somalis to go to Kenya, then simply return the land back. It's not like Somalis want to go deep into Kenya. I apologize once again if I am bugging you. African American commercial testing companies
Hi, Middayexpress. When editing the African American page, I didn't mean to place unreliable information down. I was simply unaware that commercial testing companies were not reliable, as I had always thought information from 23andme and Ancestry.com would be fine to use as references. I viewed Malik Shabazz's page because I got a new message from him concerning an article about Lucious Lyon which I created and am responding to that, and noticed your message there about me adding commercial firms. We resolved this on the talk page. You don't have to worry about me adding any information from commercial firms. I know better now, and when I add further information, it will be from non-profit research such as the latest information I added from the Oxford University study. If you wanted me to not do so, you could have told me on my talk page-we would have worked it out. I understand and I'm not trying to sabotage the page, I was only adding information I thought would help the article. I guarantee you this issue won't come up again, at least not from me. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 20:53, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Kinfoll1993. I'm not sure I follow. I believe we already did discuss this on the talk page and reached an agreement after I explained to you the WP:MEDRS policy. Malik Shabazz noted as much there as well. At any rate, in future, please first discuss any major changes on the talk page for consensus per WP:BRD. Thanks, Middayexpress (talk) 21:26, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

State
Seeing how Hadraa is a sock (face palm, who on earth uses their real name lol?) will the "recognition" be removed since not only is it preposterous only one user supports it's reminder. Anyways, was asking for the email all an elaborate plan lol? Did you suspect he was? AcidSnow (talk) 03:31, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, it seems Hadraa has since deleted the link, but it's a bit a late for that. At any rate, upon reflection, with a little mentoring he could perhaps evolve into a valuable editor. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 15:05, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
Avoid editing other user's comments
It's a simple matter of WikiQuette to not edit other users' bona fide comments on talk pages, even when they're quoting material from Wikipedia or other places. On the disputed occasion, the user reverted your change, making it clear they wanted their comment to be left as it was, yet you removed the quoted material a second time, which was disruptive, and aggravating to the other user. As Amakuru has reverted the material, I consider the case closed for now and will close the ANI thread, with a suggestion to use the {{done}} template for similar cases in future. Regards, Samsara 13:30, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Samsara. Thanks for the info. I was unsure about what was the appropriate policy to follow. I only later noticed that WP:WIKICODE indicates that "it is best to indicate deleted content using the strike-through markup". Duly noted all the same. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 15:05, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
