RE: America

[edit]

Without explanation? Sorry. I have reverted yours. The prior dab was contorted (with place names rendered in lower case, e.g.); the current one simpler. Please explain yourself before doing so again. 138.88.242.123 (talk) 12:18, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your changes again. There is a discussion about it here Talk:America#Listing the two American continents, which hasn't been finished in my opinion (or if it was finished, the agreement was, to leave the two continents in, as they are still in the original artice. Please let's us discuss it out there, before we make a final change. --Mdebets (talk) 12:44, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re - Vin Diesel

[edit]

While I recognize that my comment regarding the edit [1] was not Crystal, I'd like to point out that I was merely commenting out someone's vandalism, without being sure which bits were true or not :D. It's fixed now, either way 131.111.8.104 (talk) 16:35, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure that I entirely agree with you....

[edit]

Looking at the edits that a user recently made to the article on suicide, I think they were clearly made in good faith. Whether they are an improvement or not should be discussed on the article's talk page, but I suggest you strike the warning. Thanks for keeping a watch on the page though. 69.140.152.55 (talk) 04:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Just stumbled by (you edited a page on my watchlist (Kalapodi), and I'm nosy :D) and I see your user page has been vandalized - thought you might appreciate a headsup. Gonzonoir (talk) 11:08, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up, very much appreciated. I just reverted it. It would also have been ok, if you would have reverted the edit yourself. You can do this if it is an obvious vandalism. --Mdebets (talk) 11:48, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Caligula

[edit]

Just noticed that you'd sent me a warning for vandalism on the Caligula page. This edit was definitely not vandalism. I removed all the information that had been put on the article about Hitler and replaced it with the correct information about Caligula. Tresiden (talk) 21:50, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the report, but when I pressed the revert button iin Huggle I was seeing the Hitler Vandalism. Not sure what happened there. Going to report it to the author of Huggle. --Mdebets (talk) 21:56, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Flag is waving in Nicosia. If you use Google Earth, you can easily see this fact.

--Mdebets (talk) 19:00, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mdebets! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 329 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. University College Dublin Students' Union

[edit]

University College Dublin Students' Union has been nominated for deletion - it needs support (and then a re=edit which I will work on) - can you assist?

Hi, at Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:41, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Sanctuaries in Greece requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
