AfD nomination of Polite Sleeper
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Polite Sleeper. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polite Sleeper. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Polite Sleeper
[edit]A tag has been placed on Polite Sleeper requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Hungryroot
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Hungryroot, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Hey, Mcurtes. Anything that adds or removes content is not a minor edit and shouldn't be marked as one. A minor edit is a typo correction. —valereee (talk) 00:29, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

Conflict of interest
[edit]Hey, Mcurtes. Do you have a relationship with the band Polite Sleeper? Your user name seems to be similar to the name of a band member. —valereee (talk) 00:49, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
- Dude, really? You seem to share a name with a VP at Draft:Hungryroot which you've been resubmitting over and over even though everyone keeps telling you it's not notable yet. You need to declare your WP:COI, as right now it's a WP:UPE and that is really frowned on. —valereee (talk) 02:14, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
Added COI declarations to my user page, per recommendation at WP:COI. Mcurtes (talk) 12:41, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
