Image copyright problem with Image:View From Bench.jpg
[edit]Hi Matthewobrien!
We thank you for uploading Image:View From Bench.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

Marin Headlands
[edit]Hello Matthewobrien and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for contributing to the article Marin Headlands. The pic looks good. I just wanted to check with you about the bench description, I've changed the caption because it sounds like you want to say that the bench was dedicated to Ben and that's where the phrase "He saved the schoolhouse" comes from. I have no idea if this is correct, and couldn't tell from how the caption was written. So I changed it to:
"
"
Does that work for you? It makes it more clear where the phrase in quotes comes from.

Adding images to articles
[edit]Hello, welcome, and thank you for the useful verbiage which you've added to articles.
Please notice that the precedent for images added to articles is that they are, with the periodic rare exception of wide-aspect images, added as scaled thumbnails; it should be obvious that your edits take on the guise of heightened smarmy-ness since they are needless advertising, in size, your own photographs. If you continue to make these types of edits without first being able to cite editor-agreed exception to this precedent on some discussion page somewhere, i'll issue an actual warning which will lead to your being blocked on further repeats. If you wish to reply to this, i'll be watching this page. Thanks. Quaeler (talk) 15:03, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

James H. Higdon Sr. moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, James H. Higdon Sr., does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Cleta Mitchell.
