Hi! I'm the editor that started and did I guess 99.4% of the content on the Post Self article. Anyway, I saw that you changed the genre of Godflesh in the intro from industrial metal to experimental metal. I don't have an issue with this at all, that's not why I'm writing, I'm just curious to learn since I'm not a seasoned editor. Can you explain why the change is an improvement? Thanks! CelestialWeevil (talk) 21:29, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, I think that "experimental metal" is a good summary of the two major genres that Godflesh have been associated with most and credited with pioneering (industrial metal and post-metal) which is why I made it their lead genre on the band's page. For album articles, I think a band's genre in the lead should either match that on their page or be excluded completely, though I have seen no guidelines or discussions on this.--MASHAUNIX 21:41, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the response! CelestialWeevil (talk) 21:52, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
Industrial music
[edit]I saw that you removed it from the African American, Italian American, and Latin American culture categories. So..who would you mostly associate it with? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8805:D401:3700:D940:9A80:BA34:DC7C (talk) 16:07, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- Underground UK, US, and German culture in general. Cultural context must be discussed in the article, with all info backed by sources. I saw no evidence in the article that anyone ever connected industrial music as a movement specifically with the categories you mention, that's why I reverted you.--MASHAUNIX 17:51, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

Evo morales suma wiki page
[edit]Hello! Just to inform you I am Bolivian I reside here my whole life. THERE WAS NO COUP. A coup is when the military take over with violence. There is violence yes! But because of the former presidents people. They are coming from Other zones and terrorizing cities! They were paid $7-$30 depending evo morales régimen gave them weapons.
We the people protested pacifically during 21 days. We did not vandalize anything no body has paid us anything. It was all legitimate because our vote was stolen. Evo morales did the hugest fraud in history thinking we were not going to notice.
There was no coup!
this is a quick note so u can update this dictators wiki page.
Thanks! Fabsv (talk) 18:32, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I understand. My edit in fact removed the onesided description of the event as a coup. I have no wish to edit further now. But my thoughts are with you, the people of Bolivia. May the unstable situation soon be resolved through fair elections, without any more bloodshed!--MASHAUNIX 18:48, 12 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I invite you to join the Guild of Copy Editors!
[edit]Hello Mashaunix - You greatly improved the Introduction for Jordan Peterson. When I read your edits I thought you must be a member of the Guild of Copy Editors because you write so well. However, after searching the Guild's membership roster, I discovered that you are not (yet) a member. We need editors who write in a clear, correct, concise, comprehensible, and consistent manner—like you! If you would like to join our august body, here are the instructions from the Guild's home page:
Membership of the Guild of Copy Editors is informal and is not monitored. To be considered a member you can:
- add your name to the List of Participants;
- add {{User Copy Edit}} to your userpage, which will automatically add you to Category:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors members;
- join our mailing list to get regular newsletters with information about our activities.
Because of the nature of our project, members who copy edit articles listed on our Requests page should have a high level of skill with English spelling, grammar and punctuation. Requests are often being prepared for promotion to Good Article, A-class or Featured Article status, all of which require prose that is clear, concise, and error-free. Good judgement is often required when deciphering the meaning of confusing passages of text and considering how to best clarify it without altering its meaning.
All the best - Mark D Worthen PsyD (talk) (I'm a man—traditional male pronouns are fine.) 20:49, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]February 2021
[edit]Your recent editing history at Karl Marx shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
you're on the cusp :-) -----Snowded TALK 18:06, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the warning, next time I'll go straight to the talk page! Wonder what it says about me that when I do something like this it's the article about Marx, but only an insignificant detail.--MASHAUNIX 21:45, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Grindcore&oldid=1022727510 (check out precursors and you will know what I mean)
I saw in the history of that page that you also agreed that this comes exclusively from punk, this article reinforces that idea, I wish you would review it. My colleague adds information to the precursors part accordingly, he changes the general summary at the top, however this is not valid for an administrator. You can appreciate the quotes and interviews that he attached to his work. User:Devils greens12

Speedy deletion nomination of Melodicore
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Melodicore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I have listed this article for GA reassessment. Others agree with your view that Eastern Christianity is not adequately covered. I would really appreciate your help with that. It does take a real commitment to write content on Wikipedia, but I can help with that. We can collaborate. Perhaps you could begin by suggesting what major topics are missing from this article. - Hi, I'm really sorry but currently I don't have space to offer help or suggestions beyond what I already gave on the talk page. Maybe try to find an easy introductory source on the history of both the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches, whether online or in print, and see what the major chapters of the story are there and how it relates to the story of the Catholic and Protestant churches. Best of luck.🙏 --MASHAUNIX 10:50, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
