Old Vandalism (Possible to Rev-Del?)
Is it possible that these edits (maybe more for the second IP I'll list) can be rev-deleted? They're at least six years old, both IPs are no longer active on Wikipedia, but their edits remain.
- 1. 107.182.176.206 kept harassing me in 2015 when I reverted some transphobic edits of theirs. Their harassment was rev-deleted already, but not This One.
- 2. Several blatantly hostile edits from 99.253.124.79:
- Probably a few more need to be looked at. I should have brought this up years ago, I know. But I think I should get this out of the way.Crboyer (talk) 16:31, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Done Yes, they can all go. No need for anyone to see these even after all this time. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 16:47, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Perugia Vandal New Target
The Perugia vandal found a new target: Frances McDormand. See their edits here. The edit filter log picked up a very loathsome attempt here. Crboyer (talk) 23:02, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Crboyer: So he has, perhaps prompted by Ms McDormand winning a Best Actress award at the BAFTAs. It looks as though it’s been handled but I’ve watchlisted the page. I see he’s now targeting Jonathan Pryce again. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 21:19, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Crboyer: Has been edit warring at Taika Waititi now. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 09:05, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Saw that. Also, see Chelsea Winstanley. This edit is quite an eyesore.Crboyer (talk) 16:29, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ugh! I’m going to revision delete that. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 16:36, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Crboyer: Edit 19:24, 19 May 2021 176.201.219.163 on Captain Fantastic (film) has been oversighted, it was a particularly nasty one. Had enough of that and protected the article for three months. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 00:49, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Blocked 95.74.0.0/19 for three months. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 22:41, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- Blocked 176.201.224.0/19 & 176.201.208.0/20 for three months. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 21:05, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
Add another Perugia IP
Clearly another edit from the Perugia vandal. I reported them already to AIV (since they've been trolling so long there's no point to dissuade them), but someone thought it was too soon. Is it too soon?Crboyer (talk) 20:50, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
- I can understand that, it hasn’t done much has it and there’s nothing in the filter log. But let me know of any you see. I’ll add them to my list, which will help me to decide what to do. Meanwhile, I’ve just blocked 176.201.224.0/19 & 176.201.208.0/20 for three months in addition to 95.74.0.0/19 blocked a few days ago. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 21:20, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
- P.S. Zzuuzz has blocked it. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 23:55, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
Revision deletion
Hello, Malcolmxl5,
I've been seeing you revision delete all day now (at least it's daytime where I live). Any chance this IP vandal's range could be blocked? It seems like they've been causing a lot of damage you've kindly cleaned up. Liz Read! Talk! 01:19, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Liz, an edit filter is going disallow their edits. They have been circumventing existing filters by altering offensive (Hindi) words with diacritics but some tweaks will sort that out. In the meantime, I’m chasing this vandal down a rabbit hole, they were more prolific than I realised! --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 01:32, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- I believe an editor asked me to do some revision deletions because of edits by this same user and when I used Google Translate, it couldn't provide a translation. But I trusted the editor who brought the query to me so I obliged. I'm glad there are filters that might prevent this from happening in the future. Liz Read! Talk! 02:29, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
Range you partially blocked continuing disruption
I don't know if the disruption is similar in nature (doesn't appear obvious to me from a quick look at Special:Contributions/78.180.0.0/16), but Special:Contributions/78.180.37.37 is now also doing dubious things on other articles... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 23:18, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- The partial block was to stop harassment of User:Shadow4dark at their talk page. The IP disruption looks unrelated and can be handled in the normal way, i.e. warnings and reporting (but they seem to have stopped anyway). --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 09:57, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Edit Summaries to Look At
On Friday, This Account showed up to vandalize San Miguel del Ene attack. Virtually none of their edit summaries were in the least bit diplomatic. Two of those edit summaries have been rev-deleted, but shouldn't a few others (like this) be stricken from the record? Crboyer (talk) 16:08, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- I’ve rev del a couple as purely disruptive. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 10:14, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Why? Am waiting
I left a message for you on my userspace talk page. Your answer has not been received yet. –– 𝚅𝚁𝙹𝙱𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚑𝚞 01:07, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- Good afternoon, VRJ Bandhu, I missed that one but my talk page is a good place to leave me a message. Have we met before? --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 11:38, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
@Malcolmxl5: I am preparing an Ashish Chanchlani article on my Userbox. The title of the article is protected by you, which can only be created by an Extended Confirmed User. I am not an Extended Confirmed User, but I hope to make it so I have prepared it. In the article I have given a large amount of reliable sources and am adding more information. I request you to review it and tell me about its shortcomings so that I can improve it further. And we haven't met before. –– 𝚅𝚁𝙹𝙱𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚑𝚞 14:41, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. The page has been deleted many times and any new article will have to address the reasons for deletion. I’ll take a look over the next couple of days. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 22:18, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- Malcolmxl5, I did not understand. Are you considering deleting it? –– 𝚅𝚁𝙹𝙱𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚑𝚞 10:27, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- No. I mean lessons must be learnt from the past, the new article must be an improvement on what has gone before. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:05, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
@Malcolmxl5: How long will you watch it? –– 𝚅𝚁𝙹𝙱𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚑𝚞 01:26, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- "I'll take a look over the next few days" doesn't mean that Malcolmxl5 is going to "watch" your article. It means that he needs to research why the page has been deleted in the past and then look at your article to see if it has any of the same problems or has avoided them. Only then can he make a decision about whether to allow you to move the article out of Draftspace into the encyclopedia. Beyond My Ken (talk) 02:50, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- I’ll leave a note on the talk page of the draft article but in summary, previous issues have primarily been about the quality of the sources used, I’ve found a couple that may be helpful. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 10:19, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- The two sources that may be helpful:
- Bose, Ajitabha (2021). The Youtube Stars Of India. Ajitabha Publishers. pp. 11–24. ISBN 9788194991434., which has a chapter or at least a dozen pages about Ashish Chanchlani, and

another day, another Perugia ip ranting about George MacKay. Thought you should know. Crboyer (talk) 20:17, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

- Wikimedia previously used the IRC network Freenode. However, due to changes over who controlled the network with reports of a forceful takeover by several ex-staff members, the Wikimedia IRC Group Contacts decided to move to the new Libera Chat network. It has been reported that Wikimedia related channels on Freenode have been forcibly taken over if they pointed members to Libera. There is a migration guide and Wikimedia discussions about this.
- After a Clarification request, the Arbitration Committee modified Remedy 5 of the Antisemitism in Poland case. This means sourcing expectations are a discretionary sanction instead of being present on all articles. It also details using the talk page or the Reliable Sources Noticeboard to discuss disputed sources.
Please protect Nikol Pashinyan page
Hi there, you recently protected the Nikol Pashinyan page, but it expired. Can you please protect it again? It's been getting a lot of vandalism during this election period. John Butler of Kilcash
Dear Malcolmxl5. On 10 Jun 2010 you placed a notability tag on the article John Butler of Kilcash. The subject is not a widely known person and the article had only 60 words at the time. It now counts 686 words and has 31 citations from 17 sources. Could you please have another look and possibly remove the tag if you think it that notability has been established? Or take some other action that you think suitable. I see you are an administrator and extremely experienced wikipedian. With many thanks, Johannes Schade (talk) 10:35, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Johannes Schade, that was a long time ago! Yes, the article has been much improved, the notability tag can be removed and I have removed it. Kind regards, --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 10:42, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

Deleted content
Hello, I was told I could request deleted content. There are a number of articles I worked on that I would like to bring to a suitable venue. Libro0 (talk) 17:20, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Libro0. Which articles would they be? --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 17:30, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
There were quite a few. 40b | 50b | 40s | 50s | 60s | 70s | 83 | 84 | 85 | 86 | 87 | 88 | 89 | 90 | 91 | 92 | 93 | 94 | 95 | There were a few more however I do not recall their precise titles at the moment. Libro0 (talk) 17:46, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Libro0: 1970s Topps and 1971 Topps were deleted by me following a deletion discussion so you’re in the right place to discuss those. The others were deleted by administrator Liz via proposed deletion and as these were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, you could request the content of these via WP:Requests for undeletion, but we may as well handle them here. Would you like me to email them to you? --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 21:50, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Email would be fine thank you. I have found a wiki more appropriate for this content so I would like to take it there. Libro0 (talk) 05:37, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Libro0: OK, just the text or would you like all the wiki markup as well? --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 15:48, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
Yes the markup would be great. Libro0 (talk) 01:44, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

- Consensus has been reached to delete all books in the book namespace. There was rough consensus that the deleted books should still be available on request at WP:REFUND even after the namespace is removed.
- An RfC is open to discuss the next steps following a trial which automatically applied pending changes to TFAs.
- IP addresses of unregistered users are to be hidden from everyone. There is a rough draft of how IP addresses may be shown to users who need to see them. This currently details allowing administrators, checkusers, stewards and those with a new usergroup to view the full IP address of unregistered users. Editors with at least 500 edits and an account over a year old will be able to see all but the end of the IP address in the proposal. The ability to see the IP addresses hidden behind the mask would be dependent on agreeing to not share the parts of the IP address they can see with those who do not have access to the same information. Accessing part of or the full IP address of a masked editor would also be logged. Comments on the draft are being welcomed at the talk page.
- The community authorised COVID-19 general sanctions have been superseded by the COVID-19 discretionary sanctions following a motion at a case request. Alerts given and sanctions placed under the community authorised general sanctions are now considered alerts for and sanctions under the new discretionary sanctions.
Ancient Vandalism to Rev-Del
Can you take a look at this almost decade old vandalism for Rev-Del purposes? Almost all these edits were blatant BLP-violations on Cristina Vee.
(In order that I linked them, not the order that they appeared).

Sorry I should have been clearer in my earlier comments here, but I was at least in part trying to avoid having yet another time-sink discussion regarding the application of existing policy to a novel situation; I'm sure your well aware how easy it is to make mountains out of molehills around here. So to be clear, I have no intention of returning to editing under that IP, and having reviewed the relevant policy, I'm fine with the block.
Like I said, it's not a big deal. I'm going to be increasingly busy over the next few months anyway, and on the off chance something requires my attention it won't affect my ability to edit. I'll admit I liked the convenience of having my edit history in one place for the first time in a while but that's a luxury not a necessity and with truly static IPs increasingly rare, one that the vast majority of contributors get along just fine without. Regards, 81.177.3.8 (talk) 19:40, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
Just confirming that the above is me, I’ll go ahead and uninstall the app so this will be the last time I’m on this IP. Regards, 31.41.45.190 (talk) 19:46, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hello. Personally, I was reluctant to block constructive edits (others may have different views) but as the IP had not been used for four weeks, I thought you had moved on. And now you have. Anyway, best wishes and thank you for your contributions. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 09:02, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
Vietnamese vandal
Hi, I think that the Vietnamese vandal who removes the runner-up honors is back. This time as 14.178.173.125. --Jaellee (talk) 17:05, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Jaellee: Yes, that’s very much him. I’d thought he’d gone away but evidently not! I’ve given him a week off with a message to discuss his changes at WP:FOOTY and added him to my list at: User:Malcolmxl5/sandbox#Vietnam; no prospect of a rangeblock unfortunately. He has edited José Fonte and Krasimir Balakov before but only a couple of times, I think. If there are pages that he targets frequently, we can think about pending changes protection or something. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:00, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

Please take a look at article Purvanchal Expressway
Hi admin, can you please have a look at article “Purvanchal Expressway”, an unexplained, repetitive sourced info removal is being done, I urged the user to take that to talk page, it has been more than three reverts, I also placed a three revert warning on his talk page, and again urged him to solve the issue by talk page discussion. It’s been so many times, he is continuing to remove the referenced data. Every now and then he is responding by removing the sourced info, without any explanation or discussion. I even asked him to refrain from making numerous reverts and engaging in edit war, wait for a consensus to be reached on talk page, even an experienced user 25Cents asked him for the same and pinged him on talk page, he reverted his edits too. I assume some kind of sockpuppetry. Can you please see into this? Much thanks in advance. Shresthsingh71 (talk) Shresthsingh71 (talk) 15:39, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

Protection Review requested
Can you do a review of the protection levels for these articles when you possibly can: America's Got Talent (season 1), America's Got Talent (season 2), and America's Got Talent (season 4). We've had persistent disruptive edits of the same nature, as those for America's Got Talent (season 3), by the same user through sockpuppets, and while they have Confirmed-Edit protection for the moment, it hasn't stopped the problem - their actions of using socks for this behaviour has worsened since late 2020. Range block not working?
Hi, I just tried to block 157.40.128.0/17 and saw you already did over a week ago... but there's vandalism going on from that range in Dr. No (film), specifically from IP addresses 157.40.225.54, 157.40.200.204, 157.40.163.31. See the article history. Two of the addresses have been blocked individually. Rather than whack-a-moling the third, I decided to use a range block, but then saw it's already in place but not working. Any idea why? ~Anachronist (talk) 18:13, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Anachronist It was a partial rangeblock from Licence to Kill only where this person has been disrupting the article for over a year. I’ve added Dr. No (film) to the partial rangeblock --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:23, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, I get it. That "partial rangeblock" is a feature that I haven't yet found a need to use, so the word "partial" didn't register in my brain. Now I understand how it works. I was gonna do a site-wide block on that /17 for 72 hours but was unable to, due to your existing block. Your solution of a partial longer-term block may be better. Thanks. ~Anachronist (talk) 18:28, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Semi-protection doesn’t hurt either. :) --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:37, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

News and updates for administrators from the past month (August 2021).
- Feedback is requested on the Universal Code of Conduct enforcement draft by the Universal Code of Conduct Phase 2 drafting committee.
- A RfC is open on whether to allow administrators to use extended confirmed protection on high-risk templates.
- A discussion is open to decide when, if ever, should discord logs be eligible for removal when posted onwiki (including whether to oversight them)
- A RfC on the next steps after the trial of pending changes on TFAs has resulted in a 30 day trial of automatic semi protection for TFAs.
- The Score extension has been re-enabled on public wikis. It has been updated, but has been placed in safe mode to address unresolved security issues. Further information on the security issues can be found on the mediawiki page.
- A request for comment is in progress to provide an opportunity to amend the structure, rules, and procedures of the Arbitration Committee election and resolve any issues not covered by existing rules. Comments and new proposals are welcome.
- The 2021 RfA review is now open for comments.
Request for Reconsideration
Malcomxl5 - I ask for reconsideration to unprotect the page Robert E. Clark II page. I also sent this same request to Ymblanter. To allow it to remain as is seems to contradict the reason for protecting - to prevent vandalism, which seems exactly what Jonboi199 is doing. The previous section (below, and what they removed)) seems to accurately, with a neutral tone, and publicly available references, explain what transpired - Clark was President for ~ 6yrs; members of the faculty published a no confidence resolution two months before the College became part of Delaware State University that was forwarded to the Board of Trustees for action; the Board took action - dismissed the resolution; and then subsequently the Board of Trustees bestowed upon Clark President Emeritus for reasons stated. Their replacement (which seems to be a repeated "cut & paste" without justification or cause), which remains on the site, was protected with a section that seems biased, incomplete, and violates Wikipedia's POV policy. Thank you for your consideration and time. XTC7YV32 (talk) Education Administrator Clark served as 17th President of Wesley College in Dover, Delaware,[1] beginning July 15, 2015.[2][3] On March 1, 2021, two months before the school's closure, some members of the faculty published a no confidence resolution against Clark that was forwarded to the Wesley College Board of trustees. The Wesley College Board of Trustees voted unanimously on March 20,2021 to dismiss the resolution. Additionally, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to bestow upon President Clark, President Emeritus in recognition of his leadership, and service to the College and the community. [4][5]

- @Schazjmd: I apologize, that was not my intent to "admin shop", and I wanted to ensure Malcolmxl5 was aware I had reached out to Ymblanter. Ymblanter, Malcomxl5, and now you have been very helpful - thank you. XTC7YV32 (talk)
- @XTC7YV32: We are concerned here with conduct not with content. The purpose of the protection was to stop edit warring, which undoubtedly was taking place. This is a collaborative project and you are now expected to discuss content and agree a form of words having regard to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You should do this on the article talk page, which I note you have not yet edited. If you have a concern about particular biographical material, you can raise the matter at the biographies of living persons noticeboard. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 20:31, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Malcolmxl5: Thank you for your note and help. I will certainly add my thoughts/rationale/concerns to the "talk page" and hopefully Jonboi199 will participate as well so we can collaboratively work this out - improving on the conduct, but just as importantly, ensuring the validity, completeness, and neutrality of the content. Thank you again for your perspective & help. XTC7YV32 (talk)

Partial rangeblock extension
Howdy Malcolm, just wanted to give you a heads up I added a page, Shibani Dandekar, to your rangeblock of 117.237.192.0/18. Just wanted to make sure you're aware. -- LuK3 (Talk) 13:44, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- That’s great, LuK3. I’m not sure how effective the partial block will be but there are also edit filters, protections and other blocks in play so hopefully it’ll help to curtail this LTA's activity a bit. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 15:56, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- The miscreat simply moved on to other pages. Primefac has extended the block settings to the article namespace until March, which ought take care of that for now. Meanwhile, I've put a six-month block on Special:Contributions/117.254.140.0/22, another range that they use and which they used today. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 17:04, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
Category blanking Jakarta IP
Hello. This has been going on all morning. I noticed your range block of 182.0.137.0/24 (talk · contribs).
Recently 182.0.171.52 (talk · contribs) was blocked by User:LuK3. Same cat blanking, same geolocation. Is there anything that can be done with this range?
Thank you. --DB1729 (talk) 16:23, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I blocked 182.0.128.0/18 for 3 months. It looks like that range includes both Malcolm's /24 block in addition to my block of 182.0.171.52. It looks like the /18 range has been blocked previously so hopefully this is will squash some of the page blanking. -- LuK3 (Talk) 16:34, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- @LuK3: Hopefully. Thank you very much:) --DB1729 (talk) 16:38, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, excellent! That will certainly do a job there. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 16:51, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
182.2.139.96 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) appears to be the same vandal? Cc: User:LuK3. --Paul_012 (talk) 12:57, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, and looking at the /16 range, I see they’ve been meddling in Category, Wikipedia and Help space. I’ve partially blocked the range from these spaces for three months. The range has been blocked previously in January for three months. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 13:25, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
Request to send a hoax article to the hoax list
Hello! :) This is regarding the recently deleted article Jack "Russer" Russell (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jack "Russer" Russell). You closed this discussion, and that's why I'm contacting you. Is there any way that you could add the article to Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia? The article existed since 2005 and I'm pretty sure it was a hoax article. wizzito | say hello! 09:54, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Done --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:34, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
IP range
Hi and thanks for blocking this IP range. I do not know if edits to other namespaces were also considered because the block is only partial. Would you know if the persons who are using that IP range and this IP range are related to each other? Just like what other editors have already pointed out on your talk page, disruptive edits have been made to some articles that are related to Indonesia, such as this and this. Also, several other edits to articles that are related to television have been reverted by other editors. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 06:23, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi LSGH. We were only concerned about a person(s) geolocating to Jakarta who was blanking Category pages (and I noticed some blanking of Wikipedia and Help pages too). The 36.81.0.0/16 appears to be a different ISP, geolocates to a different city (Yogyakarta) and has no edits to Category pages for some years (or any recent edits to Wikipedia or any to Help pages) so I am doubtful that they are related. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 17:48, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
- Eerily though, this edit and this edit have very similar edit summaries. Maybe the same person is editing from both locations? LSGH (talk) (contributions) 10:00, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
- Very similar. A month apart, could have travelled between cities. No Category edit though. :) --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:40, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

Lift the IP's block
Hello, you know the IP user 78.86.6.127 who is blocked for 31 hours. Could you please lift the block to either 2 weeks or 3 months? The edits he made were so bad that he deserves longer. Thanks. KnowledgeMastermind (talk) 15:13, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi KnowledgeMastermind, I think you mean 78.86.0.127. We don’t ordinarily block IPs for any substantial length of time unless the IP address is demonstrably stable; with this one we can’t tell. Plus it is an IP address owned by Sky broadband who, I believe, use dynamic IP addressing so it could be used by an entirely different person tomorrow. A 31 hour block is sufficient to stop the immediate damage to the encyclopedia, if they return let us know via WP:AIV or drop me a line. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 22:30, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- And you’ve got yourself CU blocked. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 14:56, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Administrators' newsletter – October 2021
News and updates for administrators from the past month (September 2021).
- Following an RfC, extended confirmed protection may be used preemptively on certain high-risk templates.
- Following a discussion at the Village Pump, there is consensus to treat discord logs the same as IRC logs. This means that discord logs will be oversighted if posted onwiki.
- DiscussionTools has superseded Enterprisey's reply-link script. Editors may switch using the "Discussion tools" checkbox under Preferences → Beta features.
- A motion has standardised the 500/30 (extended confirmed) restrictions placed by the Arbitration Committee. The standardised restriction is now listed in the Arbitration Committee's procedures.
- Following the closure of the Iranian politics case, standard discretionary sanctions are authorized for all edits about, and all pages related to, post-1978 Iranian politics, broadly construed.
- The Arbitration Committee encourages uninvolved administrators to use the discretionary sanctions procedure in topic areas where it is authorised to facilitate consensus in RfCs. This includes, but is not limited to, enforcing sectioned comments, word/diff limits and moratoriums on a particular topic from being brought in an RfC for up to a year.
- Editors have approved expanding the trial of Growth Features from 2% of new accounts to 25%, and the share of newcomers getting mentorship from 2% to 5%. Experienced editors are invited to add themselves to the mentor list.
- The community consultation phase of the 2021 CheckUser and Oversight appointments process is open for editors to provide comments and ask questions to candidates.

Deletion of Imagen Ltd
Hello @Malcolmxl5
I am keen to start a new page called 'Imagen Ltd' following the guidelines and using Special:Mypage/Imagen Ltd to create it so I can ask others to help and make it compliant.
When I've gone to do so, a message appears asking me to reach out to the person who deleted the page - am I allowed to create a new page?
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, S Sallen888.sa (talk) 16:40, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Sallen888.sa. I deleted the page following a discussion. A new page can be created but there are a couple of steps to follow. Firstly, you have a conflict of interest so you should put the new page through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process where it will be reviewed before being moved to article space. Secondly, the company should meet the Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) guideline (WP:NCORP); that is, it should have been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. I suggest you start by identifying your three best sources. If you get stuck, come to the Teahouse where experienced editors can help you. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:23, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
