Copyright policy advisement regarding articles
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Regarding your contribution to Iurii botnari, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from web sites or printed material without the express permission of the author or copyright holder. Lacking this, the copied content you added has been removed, rephrased or replaced by a boilerplate copyright template.
Although brief quotations are permitted in accordance with non-free content policy and guideline, please ensure that your contributions to Wikipedia are primarily written in your own words. If you believe that using language from a source is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike License 3.0 (CC-BY-SA), then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at the talk page of the article and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the CC-BY-SA or compatible license or released into the public domain leave a note at the talk page of the article with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material, you may either send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-By-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on the talk page of the article, or place a note releasing the material as above at the external site. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
If you need any help, you can create a new section on your talk page and add {{helpme}} followed by your request below it, someone will be along shortly to assist you. Alternatively, you may also leave me a message on my talk page. Best regards, MLauba (talk) 11:54, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
- Further, I had to delete your user page, as using copyrighted material without permission is not allowed anywhere on Wikipedia, including user space. MLauba (talk) 11:56, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Yuri Botnari
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Yuri Botnari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello, Maiomi. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Yuri botnari, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Yuri botnari to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

Thanks,

Dear Shirt58, could you please help me to create the page for the conductor, Yuri Botnari? www.botnari.com aka Iurii Botnari https://www.allmusic.com/artist/yuri-botnari-mn0002604512
- The page Yuri botnari was deleted because it didn't cite any reliable sources. You recreated it as Yuri Botnari conductor; that page was nominated for a deletion discussion. You can find the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yuri Botnari conductor. You'll notice that there have been previous attempts to write about Botnari that not only all failed, both due to copyright issues and because notability couldn't be established but even led to the page Yuri Botnari getting protected against creation. It seems Wikipedia cannot have an article about him at this point. Shirt58 may have further feedback. Huon (talk) 18:33, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
Thank you Huon, wikipedia is way too complicated, it took me forever to even understand where to write messages;) And how come there were no reliable sources if he is already in Wikipedia, just on another language, and there are articles about him by the newspapers, his numerous recordings with famous orchestras are all published...I don't understand what other prove needed?
Speedy deletion nomination of Royal Music Society
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Royal Music Society, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - It is clear that you are here not to contribute to building the encyclopedia, but to attempt to use Wikipedia for promotion, which is not permitted by Wikipedia policy. Since 2009 your sole purpose has been to publicise and promote one person and subjects closely associated with him, sometimes in collaboration with other single purpose accounts, at least one of which appears to have been used by the same person as this account.
- You have repeatedly created promotional pages about the same person, under a number of titles, despite the fact that, as you must be aware, there have been at least two discussions which have each produced a clear and unambiguous consensus that he is not suitable to be the topic of a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia works by collaboration and consensus, not by individual editors persistently trying to push what they want, ignoring consensus among other editors.
