Thanks for uploading File:Maheswar.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Your first article, you may be blocked from editing. Bellezzasolo Discuss 22:58, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:AB de Villiers149.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Maheswar Rana requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Test of Divisibility requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Hi, I am Maheswar Rana, I was blocked for making disruptive edits and self-promotion. But, I was new to Wikipedia then, I had no idea about its guidelines. This would have been easier if you had requested an unblock on the original account three years ago, rather than creating a sockpuppet account. Why on Earth should we trust you if you are willing to so blatantly flout our rules, and have continued doing so to this day? * Pppery * it has begun... 02:48, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's not the case. I was studying then, So, I had no access to this account for a long time. When I completed my study.. I created a new account, as I had lost all the data connected to this account.. hence, I could not recover this account then. I kept continue with the other account. However, I managed to recover this account just before 6 months, when I managed to recover my Email which was connected to this account. I had requested to unblock me & IP address then..
Well, I am not justifying anything nor making you trust me whatsoever. I put these to understand the situation. So, I am ok with or without this account. But, If it will be unblocked. then, I can be able to contribute Wikipedia someway. Maheswar Rana (talk) 03:43, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Pppery: I don't see this as rule flouting. This editor essentially did a WP:CLEANSTART on his own, waiting three years before creating a new account to start afresh with good contributions. That's allowed, and yet the new account is now blocked as a sockpuppet in spite of being constructive for two years.
@Materialscientist: I think one of them should be unblocked. If we go by WP:CLEANSTART it would be to continue with the new account. Do you agree? ~Anachronist (talk) 14:37, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not allowed. Any user who has currently active bans, blocks or other sanctions imposed (including, but not limited to, those listed here); or is currently or about to be formally discussed for their conduct (such as at an administrative noticeboard or in an open case with the Arbitration Committee); or is attempting to evade scrutiny, may not have a clean start. And boasting that one has been previously banned in March and then continuing to edit for months cannot be explained any other way.
Also Materialscientist doesn't get pings so if you want their attention you will have to bring it up on their talk page.
I personally oppose unblocking either account since doing so is rewarding bad behavior in a way that fundamentally erodes the rules on which the community depends. But if another admin wants to unblock they have my permission to do so without worrying about following procedural rules for reversing an administrative action. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:32, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That wasn't a boast, that's just being transparent in a humble explanation of the editor's history here. That's the exact opposite of "attempting to evade scrutiny". I will write a note on Materialscientist's talk page before I take any administrative action, if I do at all. ~Anachronist (talk) 18:51, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi,

I already knew that, multiple accounts are not allowed. But, I have already mentioned my problems for which I created the other account. However, I want to contribute to Wikipedia someway.. so, If this account is violating any rule(which is actually violating) then keep it blocked and unblock the other one. I have no negative intetions whatsoever. Thank You. Maheswar Rana (talk) 06:29, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Last Note

[edit]

I have lost all the hopes of returning to Wikipedia. It seems I've been punished rather than restricted. Whatever rule is rule, I respect the decisions that they've made so far. However, It was a different scenario than what most of them are perceiving it.

I've clearly mentioned my problems which I had then, above this. and, in details here, which I had sent to one of the admins adding these proofs.

I'm not seeking for any sympathy here, it was actually happened with me so, I did explain it. Now it's upto them, to decide. I'm waiting for it but, I have no hope unless someone sees it from my perspective.

I had always been wanting to contribute to Wikipedia, I did somehow. I am happy about that. But, not satisfied, as I could've added more content in the coming days, which is now quite impossible to achieve.

It wasn't just me. There might be many others who were interested in contributing to Wikipedia but, were discouraged by similar situations. The Wikipedia Committee should give them a chance to showcase their skills or allow them to continue contributing what they've been doing.

I'm quitting Wikipedia now, along with Perfectodefecto. It was a well-spent time, although it's now worthless. If someone is reading it today after a day, week, year or decade. Please, help me out of this situation. I am always ready to contribute to Wikipedia willingly.

Thank You Wikipedia Community and all the Wikipedians who have come accross my journey and shaped me well. I'll always be grateful to you all. – Maheswar Rana (Mail) 02:37, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
