Speedy deletion nomination of User:Madacky

This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please help me with... doing anything useful over here. Tried 3 times to do a biography of a living person and all leeps dissapearing. Just wasting my time as it seems. You say: any one can do it ??? Fat chance. Good luck with that. Only with a phd in programming can do it :-( Madacky (talk) 21:51, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
- There are many, many ways to get involved in Wikipedia, and 99% of them do not involve writing an article from scratch. I would encourage you to take a look at Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia for more information on where you can help out. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. - Editing Wikipedia can be puzzling and frustrating at first (it was for me) but it does get better with experience. Below, I am giving you some links to various pages which you may find helpful. Don't try to read and learn everything there before you do any editing, because there's far too much there, but have a look and see if there's anything there that helps, and of course you can always come back later and read more if other things become relevant to your needs. I also offer the following advice, which you may find helpful. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. Also, please feel welcome to contact me on my talk page if you have any questions you would like to ask me. JBW (talk) 22:31, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
