[edit]Hello man. I think we have a common purpose. That's why, we should unite our powers for Olympiacos' history most objective view. I really like the way you handle the article. It is amazing. The sources, the words, everything! Well done! Keep going! I am going also to contribute with you. Guest0777 (talk) 21:35, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Good afternoon my dear friend,
Olympiacos Diving Department has only two overall championships. The other 7 are part of the Swimming Championship. (https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%A0%CE%B1%CE%BD%CE%B5%CE%BB%CE%BB%CE%AE%CE%BD%CE%B9%CE%BF_%CF%80%CF%81%CF%89%CF%84%CE%AC%CE%B8%CE%BB%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%B1_%CE%BA%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B1%CE%B4%CF%8D%CF%83%CE%B5%CF%89%CE%BD#%CE%99%CF%83%CF%84%CE%BF%CF%81%CE%AF%CE%B1)
We should correct it, don't you agree?
Amateur Olympiacos also agree with me.

Disambiguation link notification for July 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Olympiacos B.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brian Roberts (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Reliable sources on Hans-Ulrich Rudel
[edit]Amazon is not considered a reliable source for Wikipedia editing, so I reverted your edit. For more information, consult WP:RS and WP:Identifying reliable sources. Catrìona (talk) 06:57, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- Catrìona I used another source which is obviously reliable. It is a well-known nickname, you can find hunderds of reliable sources in both English and German. Should I provide more? Lynxavier (talk) 07:04, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Editing on Olympiacos BC
[edit]What's going on there? Reporting me for vandalizing, when I was only deleting inaccurate information and dead (or fake) links? I don't think that this is fair and ethical. This page is meant to give people an objective point of view. Not a point of view that a hooligan would want, or a team's propaganda! Shame on you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Panosgatto (talk • contribs) 10:32, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Panathinaikos B.C., you may be blocked from editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Panosgatto (talk • contribs) 11:34, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Hello! First of all, the matter here is that we disagree on what wikipedia is and is not. The "most notable wins" and all these tables in the article were my creations many years ago, but they came to look like a mess as anybody added anything, since there are not any explicit criteria on this. You want to show that Olympiacos has defeated a number of famous teams, it's ok to put for example ten former European champions, but adding Sevilla, Valencia, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N team is an exaggeration and definitely not encyclopedic.
Secondly, what's the point when you say that the team has obtained at least 9 points in CL group stages between 2007 and 2016. Is it a record? No. It means something when you talk to a rival fan, but not here. You address to an international reading public and the most possible reaction of a foreigner who reads it would be "so what?".
And last but not least, let's suppose that all these are useful and they are worth it. The section in the team's main article should be concise, containing briefly the most important information. Extensive details, records, statistics etc should be added in Olympiacos F.C. in European football, that's why it exists (there is also a mess in there though).
If you want to see what is encyclopedic, imagine yourself reading for a team, i.e. from the X-country, all this stuff. What would be your reaction? Take into consideration that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and excessive listings of unexplained (and worthless) statistics. The information that you added fall in this category, so think again about it. - Sthenel (talk) 07:37, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of File:Olympiacos Men's Water Polo logo.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Olympiacos Men's Water Polo logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 11:50, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

Dimitris Tziavras moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Dimitris Tziavras, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG. neither does routine sports coverage.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:47, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
