I don't assume that you are in the "pro-Slavic" camp, but Stevepeterson does, that's why I had to specifically exclude you from the list of editors who support a WP:NPOV wording. My apologies if my wording was vague and my intentions unclear. --Taivo (talk) 13:20, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Rollback
Hi Luxure. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! —Tom Morris (talk) 18:42, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Was this a mistake?
Hello Luxure. WIth this edit on October 20 you removed a bunch of text from the middle of Talk:Macedonia (ancient kingdom)/Archive 7. It is unusual to remove text from an archive, and should have a good reason. The cut was so abrupt that you cut off the previous text in the middle of a sentence. Was this action on purpose, or was it a mistake? Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:26, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- @EdJohnston: I wouldn't even say it was a mistake, I had no clue that I did that, I just wanted to put the {talkpagearchivenav} template in. Sorry for the inconvenience. Luxure (talk) 00:41, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Your signature
Hey there! A minor friendly request... if you could please use the following code for your signature:
'''[[User:Luxure|<span style="color:#E22">Lux</span><span style="color:#F73">ure</span>]] <span style="color:blue; font-style:italic">[[User talk:Luxure|Σ]]</span>'''
That should render the same way as it does now. I only ask because with your current configuration, the opening and closing tags don't match up properly and/or are not in the correct order. As a result, syntax highlighting scripts are thrown off and the whole page looks funky when editing. Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 18:42, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

Olympics 1908 correction
Hi Luxure I am not familiar at all with the Procedures of correction of Wikipedia . I simply want to correct a mistake in the records that you(?) are showing . The person shown as Richard Harrison in the 3500m and 10 mile walks was in fact my Grandfather Ralph Harrison . Additionally he was Diasqualified in the 3500m and did noit start in the 10mile final .
These errors stem from inaccurate info in the Herman De Vael database .
I have contacted him with the corrections . Let me know HOW to get these corrections made if I am using the wrong techniques Cheers 82.45.209.218 (talk) 17:35, 28 November 2014 (UTC)Keith Harrison UK

December 2014
Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Gerard Way. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. Chamith (talk) 01:37, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

- Hey there Luxure. I was adding three past members who are still playing music together, and are indeed Michael Tyack and Jennifer Bennett are playing at one of their weddings. This is NOT vandalism. There is recorded video evidence of these three members on youtube and also reviews online. This is merely to represent the contribution these musicians made, and there is reference to their playing with Circulus in Shindig! FRoots and a number of other bona fide publications. Please check your facts before editing other's work.(UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Proggerland (talk • contribs)

Please, a user keeps reverting the huge clean up I'd done to this article (it was almost completely based on unreferenced original research). What's the right procedure, other than eternally reverting back? --damiens.rf 15:59, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Damiens.rf: I've reported the page to admins to semi-protect it. The user that keeps reverting could probably be right, but I have no clue what idioms the people of Puerto Rico say. You are better off asking an expert on the subject. I would advise that you go here to WikiProject Puerto Rico and contact the members there. Cheers, Luxure Σ 22:25, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
- The point is not that the idioms are _wrong_, but just that the article was completely unreferenced. It was just a place where anyone could paste their favourite idiom. The cleaning was documented on the article's talk page.
- Thanks for the help reporting the vandalism! --damiens.rf 13:46, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- The edit-war is back :( --damiens.rf 13:51, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
It is not one user that reverts the article, there have been several users who did that within the last months since damiens.rf started deleting the whole articel except for 3 terms. It is one user who always delets everything and he is the one who should be prevented from doing this, not vice versa. He is the vandal, not the users who revert his changes. If you check his talk page you will see that he has been involved into several edit wars so far and had also been blocked temporarily. Yes, the article has several issues, especially that there have been (too) many terms that only are about sexual intercourse or insults or are not real puerto rican terms but general latin/spanish slang terms. I agree that many of these should be deleted, but that is not what damiens.rf did. He announced over half a year ago that he would work on the article, but all he did within this time was deleting (almost) everything. He just deletes everything that has no isbn source, even terms that have their own wikipedia article (like piragua) or other terms that have reliable internet references and terms that are undoubtfully only used in puerto rico.Mnbvcxyz (talk) 07:33, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Infobox Sydney
A tag has been placed on Template:Infobox Sydney requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. AussieLegend (✉) 17:26, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- Just as all of the weatherbox templates were completely unnecssary, the same applies to {{Infobox Sydney}}, and any other similar templates that you might consider creating. --AussieLegend (✉) 17:29, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- And yet why do you consider it absolutely pointless? Luxure Σ 04:17, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- As I said, the same reasons apply to this template that applied to the weather boxes. We don't create single use templates. The point of creating a template is so that it can be used in multiple articles. If we're only using the content in one article, then we add the content directly to the article. Creating a single use template serves no purpose and such templates are almost always deleted. --AussieLegend (✉) 11:33, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
Unilever Asia Holdings Group
I've declined your A1 and G2 speedy deletion nomination of Unilever Asia Holdings Group. The A1 CSD criterion is only to be used for articles that are "lacking sufficient content to identify the subject of the article." In this case, while the article is short, it's still easy to tell that the article is about a holding company, and it links to the company it is affiliate with. I also don't see any evidence that it's a test page, so G2 doesn't apply. If you want to delete it under WP:PROD or WP:AfD you can do that, but the A1 and G2 speedy deletion criteria isn't appropriate.--Slon02 (talk) 07:24, 14 December 2014 (UTC)

- Well, sort-of, but now we have a redirect from Port Douglas, which used to be a disambiguation page and until consensus determines that Port Douglas, Queensland is the primary topic it still ought to be a disambiguation page. Moving it to Puerto Douglas in the first place appears somewhat odd to me. A Spanish name redirect on English Wikipeidia? Why? ... I can see that Jeffro77 now have joined in sending Puerto Douglas to RfD. We'll loose the revision history of Port Douglas. Which we can probably live with. -- Sam Sing! 10:18, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Seriously though, I thought I might be "helpful" and change your timezone, but then I realised you live with the cane toads! I know some Banana Benders and Sandgropers will never truly understand the complexity of Daylight Savings Time (lol). Anyway, I would like to know what you think on Cairns here. It's regarding Cairns' pronunciation. Luxure Σ 23:46, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- Daylight Savings is clearly an anathema that would bring anarchy to Queensland. Curtains would fade, cows wouldn't know when to be milked, and funny third thing. The only solution is for all of Australia to have a single timezone. Except Adelaide. Adelaide's a hole.
- The pronunciation of Cairns has indeed been controversial, owing largely to the fact that many people obviously have too much free time. Australians are a fickle non-rhotic sort, and the pronunciation of Cairns has suffered as a result. Even so, the way individuals pronounce the word, whatever their locale, is formed by the same way they say care, with the subsequent addition of /nz/. As such, the widely accepted pronunciation at the Cairns article with the optional 'r' is indeed quite correct.
- P.S. Something went wrong with the link for my prize. I'm sure it's just a minor technical difficulty, so maybe you could just post me the cash. ASIO is probably reading this, so you can get my address from them.--Jeffro77 (talk) 01:39, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Blocked users
G5 only applies to edits made after a block or ban is imposed - which means in practice that the edits must be made by a sockpuppet of the blocked user as they can't edit under their user name after being blocked. Anything they've created before the block is OK so far as G5 is concerned, but is of course subject to any other deletion criteria that may apply - just like any other article is. Hi Luxure, I think the your action of undoing the edits completely reflects your lack of information about the scheme. There was certain information on the scheme that was wrong or inadequate. For intstance, the scheme is only implemented in 53 districts and I have given reference for the factual changes I have made. So, I have changed it again to my version. I hope before undoing them again you would actually read about the scheme. Also, I don't know what the Sandbox feature is, I am new to wikipedia edits. Feel free to enlighten me if it is that important or if I have made any mistake in the writing the edits. Template moved
Wikipedia uses normal slashes for identifying subpages of userspace, not backslashes like on Windows. I moved your User:Luxure\Template:Talkpage to User:Luxure/Template:Talkpage and updated the link to it from near the top here at User talk:Luxure. DMacks (talk) 05:58, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- @DMacks: There are more. Do you want me to move them and you delete or you do both? Luxure Σ 06:02, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- They are at User:Luxure\User:Luxure , User:Luxure\Template:Userpage & User:Luxure\Template:Usertalkpage Luxure Σ
- Up to you. You can move and then check the old name to see if there are any inbound links to fix before the old is deleted. Or I can [move and delete old] simultaneously. I'm headed offline for a bit, do as much as you like, and then leave a note what I should do. DMacks (talk) 06:06, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- @DMacks: I've done it and fixed them, go ahead and G6 em. Luxure Σ 06:10, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

The article Sydney you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Sydney for things which need to be addressed. The article Sydney you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Sydney for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Winner 42 -- Winner 42 (talk) 01:21, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

Map of United States
I just reverted your changing the infobox map at United States. There is an ongoing RfC on the talk page where the map you placed is considered inferior, by a strong margin. However, your choice has been previously made several times. If there is a case for your version, it needs to be made at Talk and soon. Dhtwiki (talk) 03:59, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Dhtwiki: I have undone your edits according to the long-standing WP:MAPS convention, see my comment on the USA talkpage. The reason was there was (as yet) no consensus to use that version on the talk page and as such " Version B" (the convention map) is the correct version. However, if you disagree with my reversion, feel free to revert it again. I'm open to discussion. Luxure Σ 06:03, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
- What exactly is the convention you mention? I see nothing at the page you linked to (which redirected me to Wikipedia:Blank maps, which told me nothing). Nor did I find anything helpful at Wikipedia:WikiProject Maps. Both maps are of the recommended svg type, so there is no apparent technical issue involved, and are so similar in most every way. The map you propose lacks detail as so many comments at US Talk have noted. Dhtwiki (talk) 07:23, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

Help! I recently joined wikipedia, and you have just sent me this message:
Hello, I'm Luxure. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of current heads of state and government because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Luxure Σ 13:21, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
Thankyou for letting me know! I'm really sorry, what have i have wrong? I changed the Australian head of government to Malcolm Turnbull, in light of the recent change of the head of the liberal party. Could you please allow me to change this information, or let me know if I am doing it wrong? I have never done this before, and only joined wikipedia today, so i'm sorry if there is something i do not understand.
Thankyou, AnElderlyRodent
- @AnElderlyRodent: You had put Tony Abbott's link under Turnbulls name, I apologise I should've been more succinct. Also remember to sign all of your comments on talk pages with 4 tildes, like this ~~~~. Cheers, Luxure Σ 13:45, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
