Image without license

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Phil-Crews-at-Pelican-Ranch-Winery-2020.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Sockpuppet Investigation

[edit]

A sockpuppet investigation (WP:SPI) regarding your account has been filed at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Longmermaidhair. You are invited to comment. Thanks. SamHolt6 (talk) 17:24, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To follow up on your comment at the SPI above (the case has been archived, so I can't respond there): There is nothing inherently wrong with editing each other's sandboxes; it can initially raise eyebrows, but as long as the connection is disclosed (which I see you've done – thanks!), there shouldn't be any issues. Please feel free to continue doing so if that's your preferred workflow; the only caveat is that if a sandbox draft is written by multiple people, it should be moved (and not copy-pasted) to articlespace, since cut-and-paste moves can create attribution issues (see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia). Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. --Blablubbs (talk) 18:13, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know about editing sandboxes! And good to know about the move option too - I didn't know about that. Adding that to my notes for our next Wiki-a-thon. Thank you so much for your help! Longmermaidhair (talk) 18:29, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure

[edit]

Hi - please disclose any connection you have with other editors on your userpage (see Special:MyPage), and read the guidance at WP:COI. Thanks Girth Summit (blether) 18:05, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thank you so much! Longmermaidhair (talk) 18:13, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Event coordinator granted

[edit]

After reviewing your request for the "eventcoordinator" permission, I have temporarily enabled the flag on your account until 2023-11-10. Keep in mind these things:

  • The event coordinator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
  • The event coordinator right allows you to temporarily add the "confirmed" permission to newly created accounts. You should not grant this for more than 10 days.
  • The event coordinator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the event coordinator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
  • Please note, if you were previously a member of the "account creator" group, your flag may have been converted to this new group.

If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the event coordinator right. Happy editing! • The event coordinator right allows you to temporarily add the "confirmed" permission to newly created accounts. You should not grant this for more than 10 days.

Upcoming expiry of your eventcoordinator right

[edit]

Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "eventcoordinator" (Event coordinators) will expire on 00:00, 31 October 2024 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion. Leaderbot (talk) 06:51, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
