bulk reversion
Hi Little Mountain 5. In response to your query, I have both Popups and Twinkle enabled. It looks like Twinkle is providing a "vandalism" link on user contributions and article history which does the whole revert in one click. Yeah, it's really handy. I don't think it's a restricted capability; at worst, you have to ask for permission to get it enabled—though maybe it's a simple as checking a box in your preferences, under gadgets. I see the check box in mine; see if yours has it. —EncMstr (talk) 04:23, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I spotted this discussion -- you may need the WP:ROLLBACK permission in order to use the features EncMstr mentions. (Rollback permissions also give you a new button that allows you to "roll back" several sequential edits without using Popups or Twinkle.) Also, have you figured out what all the links and buttons on the left hand side of the history page do? You might want to play around with those. You can always click on a specific version and then hit the "edit" button for that, using that version as the starting point; it doesn't give you an automatic edit summary, but other than that, sometimes this is the simplest way to do what you're talking about. -Pete (talk) 17:48, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
User Block request
You recently gave a warning to annonymous user 189.20.220.98 for his constant vandalism, yet he had vadalised again. This time he had vandalised the Electronic waste page.
I think he has had his last warning for too long and needs to be blocked from editing. Looneyman (talk) 15:15, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Question
Hello Little Mountain 5, I noticed you do a lot of vandal-reverting, and are effective at it. Would you like me to grant your account rollback rights for you to use alongside Twinkle? Just remember that rollback, like Twinkle, should only be used to revert vandalism. Thanks. Acalamari 19:30, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I was recently wondering if I should request rollback, and here you are! Yes, I think that would help me out. Thanks! Do I need to request it on the Wikipedia:Requests for rollback page? LittleMountain5 17:56, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Haven't seen you around so much in the Oregon stuff, so I'm glad to see you're out there in the wider wikiworld doing good work! -Pete (talk) 18:04, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Not at all: rollback granted now. :) You don't need to go to request for rollback to obtain rollback: any admin can grant you it, as I have done now. Good luck. Acalamari 18:12, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, Acalamari! Yeah, I haven't been doing as much Oregon stuff as I'd like to, but don't count me out! LittleMountain5 18:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Page vandalism
Reply
I'm sorry about that, it was my fault I suppose. I was edit-conflicted the first time and I refreshed the page and then saved my edit; guess it overwrote yours. Thanks for clearing it up though. Have a nice day. Landon1980 (talk) 17:38, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's really no big deal. Just wanted to tell you. Cheers, LittleMountain5 20:28, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for !voting on my RfA. If you supported, I'll make sure your confidence is not misplaced; if you opposed, I'll take your criticism into account and try to adjust my behavior accordingly.
See you around the wiki!--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 00:12, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Thanks for your !vote at my RFA
RfA thanks
Thank you for your support in my recent RfA, which closed successfully. I felt the process was a thorough review of my contributions and my demeanor, and I was very gratified to see how many editors took the time to really see what I'm about and how I can be of help to the project. As a result, some editors changed their views during the discussion, and most expressed specific, detailed points to indicate their opinion (whether it was , , or ).
A number of editors were concerned about my level of experience. I was purposeful in not waiting until a particular benchmark occurred before requesting adminship, because I feel - as many do - that adminship is not a reward and that each case is individual. It is true that I am not the most experienced editor around here, but I appreciate that people dug into my contributions enough to reach the conclusion that I seem to have a clue. Also, the best thing about this particular concern is that experience is something an editor - or administrator - can always get more of, and I'll continue doing that, just as I've been doing. (If I seem a little slow at it, feel free to slap me.)
I am a strong believer in the concept that this project is all about the content, and I'm looking forward to contributing wherever I can. Please let me know if I can be of any help. In the meantime, I'm off to school...
Thanks again!
Hay I will talk to you It is really crazy to list all those people who were born or live in Raleigh in this article this is set up for general information only if every city did this it would take 8 hour to read some pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.104.238.191 (talk) 02:43, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you notice, the people in the list is not everyone in Raleigh, just the notable people. Also, as User:JuJube warned you, you are in danger of violating the 3 revert rule. Thanks, LittleMountain5 4th of July!232 years! 02:55, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Re Question on Wikimedia Commons: Uploading forecast tracks
I go straight to the Upload work from a government source page
http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Upload&uselang=fromgov
and it comes up with a load of empty boxes** so I can just put in the file name and a short description "Advisory xxx". **At least it does now - I have memories of it coming up with the complete template on some occasions in the past but maybe I selected the wrong option. See what it does for you.--Keith Edkins ( Talk ) 15:32, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Aha! That's how you do it. Thanks! LittleMountain5 17:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
My RFA Thanks
Per my RfA
Hi there! Thanks for your recent oppose on my RfA, just thought I'd try and clarify my reasoning for what you pointed out. I know I've certainly made the mistake of blanking a page (never submitted, I tend to realise that i've cleared it as i'm a touchtyper, so I undo it) and there's no reason why it may not have been a good faith edit. It was one of the users first contributions, they deserved a second chance. Vandalism is not defined as a single act. Thank you again for voting, it's a shame you don't find me to be a suitable candidate but I appreciate your opinion. Kind regards — CycloneNimrod Talk? 21:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
