Hira Khan moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hira Khan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve Abdullah Seja

[edit]

Hello, Libraa2019,

Thank you for creating Abdullah Seja.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references to satisfy notability for biography of living persons. What is needed are references giving significant coverage about this person, and independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are reliable - WP:RS; that is your guide.
You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources.

Pages of photographs, mentions of this person on pages about other topics do not garner notability.

A more comprehensive guide is WP:BASIC ... People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. Lack of attention to the above is likely to mean that the article may not be suitable for inclusion.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

You claimed ownership of this file when uploading to Commons and stated a permission email was sent. This indicates you may have a conflict of interest with the subject of that page. What is your relationship with that person? CNMall41 (talk) 20:40, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Mohammad Jerjees Seja, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Look - I posted this here because I've observed you adding WP:OR as well sources that are clearly unreliable as citations on topics related to BLPs and Pakistan. It's important to remember that BLPs and Pakistan-related topics fall under WP:CTOPICS and editing in this area should be approached with care. --—Saqib (talk I contribs) 18:49, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have never seen someone removed roles of an actor or ask for a source for a particular role [1]. It was totally retaliation and what are doing currently at this BLP is also retaliation. May be you are preparing for second nomination thats why removing all stuff to appear more strong for the next time. Addressing editors as sir

[edit]

Hi Libraa2019, I know your intent is to be respectful but I suggest not referring to editors as sir unless you know they identify as male and prefer he/him type pronouns. You can look at their User page to see if they make it clear but for many editors, like me and you, their gender is not known. While personally I do not take offense if someone refers to me as sir, ma'am, he, she, etc. I have seen editors express great offense so best to be safe. I usually defer to they/them to be safe unless I know otherwise. S0091 (talk) 17:13, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

Hello Libraa2019. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Libraa2019. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Libraa2019|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 20:59, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ivanvector: This user continues to remove UPE tags from a page that was previously created multiple times by socks of Nauman335. Is this removal of tags even permitted? --— Saqib (talk I contribs) 21:27, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Respected Ivanvector, I provided summary in my edit [2] if it is objectionable then i dont have an issue of this tag being added in article as the article currently has notability & other tags which i never removed because i respect others opinion. Also i dont have an idea of this article being infested by sock as right now most of the Pakistani entertainment is infested by socks and i dont want to edit them and risk my reputation. One of the case is draft:Na Baligh Afraad as its a notable feature film [3] but it is heavily edited by socks thats why i never edited or moved it. Also, please check my history, Saqib has issue with my every edit & he frequently accused me of being a UPE without any evidence. Please check Saqib and my involvement at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Waqar Zaka (3rd nomination) and this [4] Libraa2019 (talk) 21:53, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because I'm not the only one who suspects you're part of Nauman335's sock farm. And the fact that you attempted to rescue articles created by UPEs as well.Saqib (talk I contribs) 22:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Other editors were on a good faith and never accused me after that SPI. You are harassing me since day one and even after that SPI you continued to tag my articles for paid editing, notability even nominated all of my articles and called my UPE/sock on multilple platforms. And i already provided clarification somewhere that i only participate in AFD which is initiated by you because it sometimes lacks WP:Before as noted by many [5], [6] [7] [8]. I will share proper evidences of harrasement if admin demands. Libraa2019 (talk) 22:12, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are harassing me since day one You've been editing under this account since 2019; I don't even remember if we've interacted before May 2024. I will share proper evidences of harrasement if admin demands. Please do.Saqib (talk I contribs) 22:20, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By day one, it means day one of that SPI & as i mentioned i will share if admin demands. One of the evidence is my talkpage where you accuse me on a regular basis. [9], [10] Libraa2019 (talk) 22:25, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I want to clarify one thing. Draft:Na Baligh Afraad was created by Umais Bin Sajjad who is not a sock or UPE. Saqib is engaged in draftying newly created Pakistani articles even if they are created by established editors and with a plenty of sources. [11], [12], [13]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Libraa2019 (talkcontribs)
Just curious how can you speak on behalf of other suspected UPE's? Anyway, I don't have much more to say here. If you believe my accusations lack merit, please feel free to report them. I typically only raise allegations when I have strong suspicions and I can provide many difs to demonstrate your editing behavior resembles that of a WP:PE.— Saqib (talk I contribs) 07:31, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As usual you ignored what i said right now most of the Pakistani entertainment is infested by socks and i dont want to edit them and risk my reputation. One of the case is draft:Na Baligh Afraad as its a notable feature film but it is heavily edited by socks thats why i never edited or moved it. Captain Assasin, Umais Bin Sajjad & Beausuzanne are not a proved UPE but as i mentioned you are accusing others & using this term very casually. Besides, i have a feeling you dont want any other Pakistani editor here except yourself. One of the many example is this [14] where you nominated around 26 Pakistani politician BLP's may be because another editor created these pages before you. And you are accusing me of resucing sock articles whereas i participated in many of these AFD's too [15] [16] Libraa2019 (talk) 14:38, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Saqib, you have a history of showing aggresion openly like this & this so no need to falsely accuse me of being aggresive. I have no concern how you interact with others but i am just expressing my opinion that you have an issue with every Pakistani editor. I've only pointed out your issues with Sheriff whereas i have many evidences where others excluding Sheriff noted you of being egoistic. My talkpage is in your watchlist, you are insulting me on multiple platforms but expecting me to act silent. Libraa2019 (talk) 16:56, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BULLY

[edit]

Hello - I’ve noticed you posted this message in at least three AFDs and I consider it a bullying tactic. You need to stop doing that, as it discourages other editors from participating in AfDs. It’s not a crime to have the same opinion and I don’t see @Wikibear47:'s votes as WP:ATA.Saqib (talk I contribs) 16:51, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AFDs

[edit]

Hello, Libraa2019,

The fact that a now-blocked editor filed an SPI case against some editors doesn't negate those editors' opinions from consideration by an AFD discussion closer and it was inappropriate for you to insert these comments in discussions about articles and their sources. It looks like you are trying influence the outcome of the discussion by dismissing the arguments of some editors which is not only irrelevant to a deletion discussion but reflects poorly on you. You have been around Wikipedia for a while and you should know better than to try to win a dispute but insulting editors' whose position you oppose. Do better, please, rely on having stronger arguments rather than trying to undermine other editors. Liz Read! Talk! 00:52, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Liz, i apologize and struck off that comment. I was trying to make a point of canvassing but goes beyond line. Also, will you please look at Saqib and my differences. He frequently call me UPE, sock and what not without any evidence. I have posted a message on his talkpage User talk:Saqib/Archive 3#Throwing random opinion & accusing others on their talkpage, User_talk:Saqib#WP:Bully and WP:Canvass. About his canvassing, i have some diffs to prove my point [17], [18], [19]. Libraa2019 (talk) 01:21, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If we’re applying your logic, it looks like you and Mushy Yank are on the same team since I don’t see a single AFDs where you two disagreed. Meanwhile, I, Gheus, and Wikibear47 have had different opinions on several AFDs, as I pointed out here. But I never accused either of you of canvassing or anything like that. What do you say about this? He frequently call me UPE Please stop it. Where have I recently called you UPE? Let’s avoid bringing up old diffs. You keep making ad hominem remarks by accusing me of calling you UPE.Saqib (talk I contribs) 10:46, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Saqib, Mushy Yank has an expertise in entertainment section therefore he only participates in that section whereas Wikibear47 is giving delete votes in all AFD's initated by you whether it be entertainment, politics, some event or something else [20]. I guess this too comes under canvassing [21]. Will you please provide recent diffs in which Wikibear47 and you have different opinions? The diff's you provided are old & here [22] you are just trying to be neutral neither opposed him nor supported him. My point will be same, whenever any user is voting keep in AFD's in which i participates or edit those pages which are edited by me, you initiated SPI and it is not that much old [23] where you call me UPE without any evidence. I've a strong feeling this is the same user. Libra, after repeatedly warned, including by me, to avoid WP:UPE, stopped editing the main namespace at the end of July please provide a diff when others excluding you warned me to avoid UPE? Libraa2019 (talk) 12:02, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikibear47 is giving delete votes in all AFD's initated by you Are you really sure about this? I suggest you double-check before I counter you, because that's just not accurate. They haven't voted on every AFD I've started and their votes definitely don't always match mine.Saqib (talk I contribs) 13:05, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think @Libraa2019 is just fishing and throwing around blatant accusations. If you are so sure about canvassing why don't you bring the case to appropriate forums on Wikipedia. Let them decide. I doubt that just agreeing with another editor in AFDs is against any policy. I have the right to vote whatever I want to. You are just a case of WP:ABF. Wikibear47 (talk) 13:31, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, @Libraa2019, @Liz, how are you?
Thanks for pinging me, Libraa2019. I have no idea of what the discussion is about as I am not at all aware of UPE, SPI and other similar areas in WP, sorry.
Just for the record, though, I must state that I find the comment "it looks like you and Mushy Yank are on the same team since I don’t see a single AFDs where you two disagreed" at best unfortunate. It is also inaccurate, on top of that, -if that's really worth mentioning in response to what can only be considered a bad joke (but that I consider a gratuitously aggressive comment even if it was not meant to be one)-: I checked only one AFD listed in the link -whose presence shows that if meant as a joke, that comment implied some thought and research....- (and this, not to mention the few where I may have participated in and Libraa2019 was not involved and vice-versa, I imagine) and, too bad, I had !voted R and Libraa2019, K, so I am going to ask the user who made that joke to please kindly strike it out and keep my name out of this, as I have no interest in this kind of issues at all, nor time for this, thank you very much. Apologies would be nice too. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 13:57, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Saqib Are you really sure about this? I suggest you double-check before I counter you Go ahead and counter me please? And by all, it means wikibear is participating in all categories whether it be politics, event or entertainment but Mushy Yank only participated in entertainment therefore your accusation on Mushy Yank is baseless.
  • Wikibear47, by these comments of yours, its look like you are supporting him and i have right to say what i feel, its up to you what you assume, either good faith or bad faith because your participation at AFD's at that time with same comments were dubious. November 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CNMall41. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of programs broadcast by ARY Digital, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CNMall41 (talk) 14:12, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This has been beaten to death. The publications may be notable (emphasis on "may"), but those particular pieces are NOT based on them being churnalism. If you want the relevant guideline, it is WP:ONUS. They are being challenged so you will need to get consensus. --CNMall41 (talk) 14:24, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have an issue regarding these sources. I guess the one who have issue will need to get consensus. Per WP:ONUS, Consensus may determine that certain information does not improve an article, and other policies may indicate that the material is inappropriate. In this case, consensus is missing. Libraa2019 (talk) 14:29, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I can tell you for a fact that this is NOT how ONUS works. The sources are unreliable. They are being challenged. Should you want to introduce them you will need consensus. But do as you will but should you re-add them without consensus I will need to take you straight to ANI. --CNMall41 (talk) 14:37, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now I remember. You are aware these sources are not reliable as we previously discussed these type of source at this afd. --CNMall41 (talk) 14:48, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand based on this that you are frustrated, but please WP:DTR. If you do not like the policy, you can seek to change it. Until that time, the soruces are being challenged. Also see WP:BRD if you do not like ONUS. --CNMall41 (talk) 14:52, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
CNMall41 Look, i dont have much time for wiki right now, i will get back to you, but as far as your concern regarding edit warring. It was from your side too so if you being engaged in edit war posting such messages of war on other's talkpage then don't behave aggresively if other's are posting same message on your talkpage. If this message was posted on my talkpage from third editor, then it will be considered war and you need to familiarize yourself with WP:3RR because no such thing was happened. Libraa2019 (talk) 14:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:NOT3RR#7 and WP:BRD. Do as you will but you have been warned (multiple times). --CNMall41 (talk) 19:56, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
