- Arena Football League only infoboxes have been created and need to be added to ALL AFL players. This infobox is for active AFL players only. However, this one is for players who retired from the AFL and NOT another league.
- Infoboxes are currently being worked on for af2.
- A few new templates have been created and added to the appropriate articels, however if you have ideas for a template leave them here.
- The assessment function has been added and the count is over 300 articles at the moment.
- Articles for the more popular and "star" players of the league need to be expanded, have citations added to them and hopefully we can get some GA's out of them.
- All articles on active players and coaches need to be updated with stats, news, and all things important. (Note: For stats it's best to use ArenaFan.)
- Also, we NEED to get things done so we can take them off of the to do list.
- After an almost 20 year wait, former Washington Redskins wide reciever Art Monk will finally be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 2, 2008, along with Fred Dean, Darrell Green, Emmitt Thomas, Andre Tippett, and Gary Zimmerman.
- The Philadelphia Soul and the San Jose SaberCats faced each other in the Virgin Mobile ArenaBowl XXII on July 27, 2008. The Soul defeated the SaberCats by a final score of 59-56. A big congratulations goes out to all the players and coaches who had a great season this year.
- It was reported by the Philadelphia Daily News that Philadelphia was still in the hunt to host the 2009 ArenaBowl, though it wasn't alone. In fact, interest has been shown by Hawaii to host the event.
- Will Pettis was announced as the AFL's 2008 IronMan of the Year.
- The Columbus Destroyers named Pat Sperduto head coach.
- On July 26, 2008 AFL commissioner C. David Baker resigned after 12 years.
- Pat O'Hara was hired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Avengers on July 25, 2008.
- Cleveland Gladiators head coach Mike Wilpolt was named coach of the year.
- Every year in August, in Canton, Ohio the Pro Football Hall of Fame inducts a new class.
- On August 31, 1997, Eddie George ran for 216 yards on 35 carries and one touchdown as the Tennessee Oilers, playing their first game in Tennessee, beat Oakland 24-21 in overtime at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.
- Our goal is to get the number of Stub-Class articles down to 0, in due time. The current count is 185, and will probably be growing in the near future. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list is provided in the stub-class category of stub articles that need to be improved, and some should be fairly easy.

deleted message - follow-up
You know, I remain somewhat stymied. If you compare this with other artists pages that have been posted - they are extremely similar, ie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalie_Jeremijenko; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_Baltz. This is an individual artist - not a company ...nor a brand.
thanks again - —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnkjr (talk • contribs) 01:52, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

SolarCity
I was surprised to see that you tagged SolarCity for speedy deletion earlier today, only one minute after the article had been created. My humble suggestion is to take a little more time to assess whether a speedy is appropriate, especially if the article has three or more references. My Talk page comment provides further details if you are in any way interested. Best wishes with your editor review... Johnfos (talk) 04:25, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Misuse of Huggle
Hi, this edit, which you reverted, was certainly not vandalism. Please be more careful and slow down when using Huggle. Artichoker[talk] 19:02, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

For cleaning up everything on the Time Paradox page, which I was simply too lazy to do - thanks! IceUnshattered (talk) 16:38, 8 August 2008 (UTC) |
you flagged my page for deletion = ?
hey there -
You flagged a page I just did for deletion as citing it was simply promotional. I disagree with your assesment, as it is descriptive and links to a # of external links which validate these remarks.
It would be extremely helpful if you could specifically cite your criteria and lend suggestions as to how best topresent this materials - as I do believe it is important material and worthy of inclusion -
Thanks -

216.165.236.38
Hi, I noticed you had threatened to block User:216.165.236.38 from editing before. Over the past two days they have blanked my user page twice and added silly garbage on the First Avenue Middle School article. Please consider blocking this IP again. Clerks. (talk) 21:30, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Lego isn't an administrator and doesn't have the power to block vandals, only warn them. Please report the user/IP to WP:AIV. If you're asking to have your userpage/talk page protected due to an overload of vandalism, try User:Acalamari or User:J.delanoy, who are both admins. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:13, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

CSRwire Deleted
You flagged CSRwire for deletion citing that it already exists. The page for Csrwire is actually not CSRwire, it is misnamed and/or in the wrong place. It is for CSRWire Canada. I spent several hours the other day moving the existing entry to Csrwire_Canada only to have it deleted. I'm trying to put this up using legitimate channels so that it doesn't get deleted again. -Thanks 74.94.164.174 (talk) 13:50, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Thank You!!!!!

NVISION
NVISION was marked for deletion, because it lacked notable sources. Now notable sources are plenty. Please add it back...
Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Nvision
"not notable as there is no coverage by reliable sources that are independent of the subject"
"People should re-add this article once its notability can be established"
"of course the article can be created if the Guinness World Record is achieved and/or it receives substantial press attention" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.112.111.122 (talk) 05:08, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
AfC
Hi, I don't know if you have been following the discussion but I am just about to implement a trial of a new AfC process. As I see you are pretty active round here recently I thought I would ask for your help in the trial as it would be helpful to have someone else around to mop up in case it all goes wrong! I have created some instructions at User:Msgj/Sandbox2 (I will move this somewhere appropriate so it might become a redirect). Regards, MSGJ 17:41, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
