Draft:Hanna_Azoulay_Hasfari

Hi Legacypac, thank you for your reply! Your main concern regarding this article is that it is not cited enough. Since the Actress is from Israel, I find it difficult to find non-Hebrew sources. Could I ask your help with directing me to the statements that you have found to be needing of a valid reference, so I could try and locate a proper source for it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eladlavy12 (talkcontribs) 13:38, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Source don't have to be in English but we prefer English. Everything in the page needs a ref, especially since it is a WP:BLP. Legacypac (talk) 13:41, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Accepting copyvio's and plagiarism

I note that you regularly accept pages which turn out to be copyright violations or plagiarism. Thermogelling polymer was deleted as a G12 copyvio after you accepted it, Bandesha was noted here as a copyvio as well. And now I had to delete Mt Washington Fire Protection District as a copyvio, and Nagendranath De is listed for copyright investigation as well. Keeping copyright violations out of the mainspace is one of the main tasks of AfC checks, so please be more diligent in checking these.

Draft:The Everglades Wilderness Waterway was listed as a copyvio, but because it was from a government agency, the text was PD. Probably right, but in such a case, this needs proper attribution, not copying without acknowledging this. Please check Wikipedia:Plagiarism and provide the proper attribution for this article (and any others you may have accepted on the same basis). Fram (talk) 09:05, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Pretty clear you started with the idea I accept copyvio and then set out to prove something you already stated as fact further up the page. Then you had to search long and hard for evidence to support your wrong idea. I do not "regularly accept pages that turn out to be copyvio" - retract that baseless accusation. I check all pages I accept at AfC with Earwig and am alert for other signs of copyvio. I've found and tagged G12 far more copyvio than I've ever "missed", just look at User;Legacypac/CSD_log
So hard pressed to prove your preconceived notion, you raise Everglades which is clearly Public Domain (National Park Service, clearly showing the source) and was mistagged as Copyvio - an error I caught. That example nicely proves Copyvio patrol also misses things and shows I understand copyright better than your average editor. I have no idea why you are mentioning their error as if it is some sort of error on my part. You had to check a heck of a lot of pages handled by me to put together your little list, which just shows my "error" rate is well within reasonable limits. I know you dispise me as an editor but I have the right to require you to treat me fairly and not permit you to lodge baseless accusations against me. Oh and Mt Washington is now at Deletion Review - a possible error on your part. Legacypac (talk) 09:37, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
If yuo had read my post instead of knee-jerk reacting to it, you would have seen that I said that Everglades is Public Domain, but that your handling of text copied from a public domain source is not acceptable. And no, I didn't have to "check a heck of a lot of pages handled by me to put together your little list", I checked your talk page discussions. I then checked your most recent AfC acceptances, which lead me to the below problem: not a copyvio, but a very problematic action on your part anyway. Fram (talk) 09:51, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

While checking your 8 most recent accepted articles, I came across Clancy Osei Konadu, which I have now put up for AfD. Can you please explain why you chose to accept this one? Fram (talk) 09:48, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

You are now warned to stop WP:STALKING my edits - and your posts here show you are doing it. There is a 2000 page WP:AFC backlog to tackle. Your time is better spent working on that backlog than second guessing and attacking my extensive efforts at AFC sorting the likely or definately useful from the spam and copyvio. If I make an "error" occasionally it is because I handle a lot of pages and tackle tough cases other reviewers are afraid to touch. My AfC accept survival rate is very very good. Legacypac (talk) 10:08, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

If you only checked the oddities that make my talkpage you missed the fact that the vast majority of pages I handle are no problem. And you still imsist I did something wrong with the Everglades page even though I even posted on that talkpage about the non-problem. Legacypac (talk) 10:12, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Please see WP:AN#Legacypac and AfC. Fram (talk) 11:14, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

See this discussion [1] on the polymer page you listed (pulled off my takkpage) without noting that an Admin moved the same page and missed the copyvio too. A little dishonest to put the blame all on me. Legacypac (talk) 13:08, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Tisk, tisk. Another polymer case. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:30, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

So-Called ANI Complaint

There was no ANI complaint until I filed it. Apparently Mervyn either thinks that referring to an ANI complaint files it, or intended to confuse editors on the MFD by saying that there was an ANI complaint which put the MFD on hold. (You and I know that an ANI complaint about an XFD runs in parallel with the XFD rather than putting it on hold.) Mervyn is right that Guy should not have deleted Mervyn's rant from Jimbo's talk page. Guy is more right that Mervyn is soapboxing, and is also referring to things such as an ANI thread that no one else can see. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:28, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Indeed. AN is a circus where anything goes. Legacypac (talk) 21:34, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Simultaneous AFC & CSD tags

Hey, Legacypac,

I can't speak for all admins, but I don't like to see an AFC decline tag and simultaneously a CSD tag put on an article that an editor is working on in their sandbox. If the article is immediately deleted, then the editor can not see the AFC decline and find out what the problems are with their article. I don't have an exact timeline of when it is an appropriate time to delete these bad articles but I think at least a few days following an AFC decline would be best which would give an editor time to review their submission. Just sharing my point of view. Liz Read! Talk! 06:31, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Hmmm mostly these are pure spam pages with no reason to encourage the editor. Immediate deletion is an excellent way to tell them to find somewhere else to advertise. The only reason I decline the page as well is to remove it from the AfC pending list and save othee reviewers time checking it before deletion. If left, a few days later this junk is often resubmitted to AfC. Legacypac (talk) 07:34, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Liz, you certainly don't speak for me (: As Legacypac says, most of these are spam, pure and simple, and need to go. I always put a potted summary in my deletion summary, which is visible still, and explain at length if asked for further explanation Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:55, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

I'm not sure quite what happened here, although you're a very experienced editor, so I assume that you had good reason for the moves. My only concern is that the moves effectively restored postings of self-promotion that I'd removed and revdelled since they were also copyright violations. Justlettersandnumbers reverted your moves, but that, of course, still left the offending material exposed. I've revdelled again and indefinitely blocked the editor since he posted the same copyrighted spam yet again three hours after a very unambiguous final warning.

Please don't take this as a criticism, you do a lot of good work, and I agree with most of what you do (see above!}, it's just one more thing to add to the list of things to watch for. Keep up the good work Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:55, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Jimfbleak, my apologies – I thought I had checked that those revisions had stayed hidden, but obviously I didn't. Thanks for cleaning up! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:57, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
No problem Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:08, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
I can't see deleted pages or revieions so I'm not sure what happened. I was tagging everything for deletion around that account. It was all junk. It looks like I moved the userpage to Draft and than sought deletion so that the deletion history would go under the correct title for tracking purposes. Legacypac (talk) 21:43, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Nick Irons

Hi Legacypac. I'm curious as to why you moved User:Ashbcgu/Nick Irons to draftspace. It's my understanding that we normally keep things in user space unless they have been submitted to AfC, as now they are subject to the G13 criteria for inactivity after six months. Can you please clarify? Bradv 00:38, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Sure, see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Abandoned_Drafts#Stale_userspace_drafts. The rational behind such moves is that the Draft will come up now if someone were to start the topic in mainspace (and therefore could be used to save them time), and is more likely to be worked on if exposed to more editors in Draft. I strongly support G13 deleting abandoned pages to prevent the accumulation of pages in a shadow Wikipedia, so if an old draft is deleted as stale because no one cares about it enough to put it in mainspace, that is fine with me. BTW sometime I find really good pages in userspace - sent one through to AfC today. Legacypac (talk) 00:58, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi Legacypac, you wrote on this talk page for the article: "(Page now one of the oldest at AfC. Remove from AfC as the creator is convinced of notability and is able to move to article space themselves)"

OK, I can do that, but as previous versions all questioned notability/source reliability without addressing my defense of notability/sources, I remain concerned that it will simply get rejected/deleted again. On the article talk page for the current draft, I go into detail about why the article subject is notable, and why the sources are reliable. Do you agree with my analysis - is the article subject notable, and are there sufficient reliable sources? Gorkelobb (talk) 02:50, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

I can't control what happens in mainspace, and neither can an AFC accept. Legacypac (talk) 02:59, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Copyvios

Can you please explain your acceptance of this draft into main space? It is literally word for word copied from a copyrighted source that the tool picked up in a ~10 second run. Praxidicae (talk) 21:33, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Yes I ran that page through Earwig plus I copied two paragraphs and used them for google searchs because it was so well written. The subject is notable obviously so I accepted it. Which tool did you use? Normally we use the provided tool Earwig at AfC. Legacypac (talk) 21:38, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
Yes, it was through Earwig. It was a full copyvio. Praxidicae (talk) 21:40, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
Weird because I ran extra checks when earwig came up no copyvio. Good catch. Legacypac (talk) 21:41, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

I even had the Earwig tab up on my computer still - 46% copy unlikely, with reasonable unavoidable commonalities. Legacypac (talk) 03:07, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Hello Legacypac, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of User:Mrairwaves/sandbox/Alan B. Scott, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The user is not inactive for over a year, G6 not applicable. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Abelmoschus Esculentus 01:45, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Question about Reliable source

Hey Leagacypac,

I've seen your recent post on the Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Tarl Warwick post. May i ask, how is Warwick directly saying Sarah Palin is responsible on a video not a reliable primary source? If i put it in a quote and put a time stamp, would that make it "reliable".

Also I have no hard feelings bro but i want you to be reasonable. You claimed that it was a promotional page, then in the very next sentence it was an attack page, can you please just be reasonable in the discussion?

Cheers ReaIestTruth (talk) 05:43, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

The page has several problems. You can't use self published youtube videos to support something statement. You need a book or a newspaper or some other WP:RS. Something with editorial control. Yes a primary source like the video can confirm something but many people say outrageous things that no one cares about ie not notable. Legacypac (talk) 06:30, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft: Junaid Azim Mattu

The following drafts has been declined by you and i am concerned about your decision. I have supplied all the verified resources and as far as i think, i have submitted only Notable articles.

  • Dabi - found not notable by discussion
  • Gali I'm not sure about. I only commented. It is likely ok once you rewrite the sentences copied from one of your sources.
  • Mayor does not meet WP:NPOL unless it is a particularly high profile mayor of a major city.
  • The last two are just run of the mill WP:MILL radio DJs. They need to be syndicated nationally or win some major award to become notable. Legacypac (talk) 06:45, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Farooqahmadbhat (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:34, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
Mayor of Srinagar is a fine place to cover Mattu's election. It is possible but tough to make a case that a mayor is notable. The absence of any other names or details of past office holders at Mayor of Srinagar does nkt help the case we need a seperate page on this person. Compare to Mayor of New York for example. Draft: Wuzzuf

Hi! You left a comment with the rejection of the Wuzzuf article telling me to see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Wuzzuf. I just wanted to see if you could help me, as I don't quite understand what that has to do with my article, as it isn't promotional and I did get some strong references like Forbes, TechCrunch and 500 Startups.

I would say that the article is short, but I do believe this meets Wikipedia's GNG, as it is the main focus of quite a few articles. Plus it's a big company in Egypt. If you would like that I try to expand the article, I could go ahead and do that. Maverick821 (talk) 07:29, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

See WP:NCORP for guidance. In 2017 we found it did not meet notability guidelines so you have a hill to climb on this. Legacypac (talk) 07:35, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
So, what do I need to do? Is it going to be hard to work on this because of the 2017 submission? Or is the issue with my article submission? It's just I don't see any discrepancy with the references and the notability guidelines. I cited a few articles that are secondary, significant, reliable and independent. Please advise. Maverick821 (talk) 10:43, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

Why was this closed so quickly? Obviously, the issue I raised was never addressed. Sca (talk) 15:05, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

The issue was addressed in the previous closed thread. See TRM's talkpage for more comments. You are chasing something you can't get and do not deserve. Legacypac (talk) 15:09, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.15 16 November 2018

Chart of the New Pages Patrol backlog for the past 6 months.

Hello Legacypac,

Community Wishlist Survey – NPP needs you – Vote NOW
  • Community Wishlist Voting takes place 16 to 30 November for the Page Curation and New Pages Feed improvements, and other software requests. The NPP community is hoping for a good turnout in support of the requests to Santa for the tools we need. This is very important as we have been asking the Foundation for these upgrades for 4 years.
If this proposal does not make it into the top ten, it is likely that the tools will be given no support at all for the foreseeable future. So please put in a vote today.
We are counting on significant support not only from our own ranks, but from everyone who is concerned with maintaining a Wikipedia that is free of vandalism, promotion, flagrant financial exploitation and other pollution.
With all 650 reviewers voting for these urgently needed improvements, our requests would be unlikely to fail. See also The Signpost Special report: 'NPP: This could be heaven or this could be hell for new users – and for the reviewers', and if you are not sure what the wish list is all about, take a sneak peek at an article in this month's upcoming issue of The Signpost which unfortunately due to staff holidays and an impending US holiday will probably not be published until after voting has closed.

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Legacypac. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Very well, thanks very much for your help and advice, brother. I'll do my best. Also, for future reference, is there a way I can find what articles were deleted - and also can I see the article's history prior to deletion? Maverick821 (talk) 08:32, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Yes but not sure how exactly. This info comes up in a tool we use to review drafts. Maybe some of my talkpage watchers know. Legacypac (talk) 08:38, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Non-admins can search the deletion log at Special:Log/delete, but it only returns exact matches (ie, if I put "cheese", it doesn't return "cheeseburger" or "grilled cheese"). Admins can do a fuzzy search by title at Special:Undelete, but I just logged out to check and it looks like it's not accessible without the bit. Viewing an article's history prior to deletion is also locked for non-admins. ♠PMC(talk) 00:31, 22 November 2018 (UTC)

Source?

Hi! You've tagged this for speedy deletion as G12, but haven't given any indication of what you think the source might be. Yes, it looks as if that might be some stuff he wrote earlier; but do you see any sign that it was previously published elsewhere? Let me know? Meanwhile, I'll think about whether it is eligible for deletion as WP:U5. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:18, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

The source is the published report pictured on the page. It is possible the acct is the report author but then proper releases of copyright need to be made. Legacypac (talk) 18:21, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
Yes, that's my question, really: where do you see that that report has been published? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:06, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
Maybe it has not been published but the cover looks like it is something published. Anyway, it is a U5 as a trip report of a visiting group. If it was put on Wikipedia as a way to submit it to thes school its a no no. There is no way this is going to be an article. Legacypac (talk) 19:11, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

Hey!

I have noticed you accepted Arvi Hurskainen from AfC, but maybe this should go back to the draft? I am not seeing any coverage of the guy (not a one source is about him). Jovanmilic97 (talk) 20:33, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

I don't think it should go back to Draft - I'd rathersee it actioned in mainspace. Legacypac (talk) 23:26, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

Request for assistance from LFWG

Thank you for reviewing this draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:O%E2%80%99Briens_Wine_Off-Licence

You mention that O'Briens Wine "Seems like a WP:MILL business" and is not 'notable' enough. However, I see that other businesses of similar size - for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O%27Briens_Irish_Sandwich_Bars - do have an approved Wikipedia page. Is it just because that O'Briens Sandwich Bars broke the employment law that they 'deserve' to be on Wikipedia? Is there anything specifically you think could be added on my draft to make it eligible for approval?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

WP:NCORP is applicable. The guidelines have tighten over time, too much in my view. It is almost impossible to have a page on a business page avoid deletion to unless they are WP:LISTED or involved in some scandal. Legacypac (talk) 10:16, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Request on 09:25:10, 26 November 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Mrdimidob

Hello Legacypac,

Thank you for reading through my Draft: VPNArea article. I've noticed you've mentioned there are no notable independent articles by large media about VPNArea, but that is not true. There are 2 product reviews by PCMag and Techradar dedicated to VPNArea, I've now added references for both in the new submission. Also I've added references to Google Play Store's page of VPNArea App which shows 10 000+ installs. There are quite a few VPN company articles that have same or less level of exposure in big media already on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackVPN https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VPN.ht https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VPNBook https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gom_VPN https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AzireVPN https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IVPN

VPNArea has either featured in same or in more references as the Wikipedia page subjects mentioned above, yet you don't recognise its notability. I've added additional references now and resubmitted the article. Please reconsider. Mrdimidob (talk) 09:25, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

I'll let another reviewer take a look. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS Legacypac (talk) 10:17, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

I have able to improve the Draft:AirAttack 2 with reliable resources and expand the article information. Can you label this article by adding "Draft:AirAttack 2 (video game)" in order to separate from the ambiguous article within AirAttack? Thanks. Video game task (talk) 13:51, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Rejected draft (JBJ95)

I apologize if I am in the wrong place, please advise me if I should be making this post elsewhere and I will do so. I am hoping to appeal a submission (JBJ95) rejected on the basis that it is better absorbed into an existing page (JBJ). My reason for submitting this new article was that JBJ is now concluded as an active entity following the termination of its contract in April 2018, while JBJ95 has no limits set on its contract and is therefore considered permanent, meant to function independently from the previous group as both a business and artistic entity, indefinitely, with no expectation of reviving or rejoining the previous group. The inclusion of the previous group's name is for its audience-recognition utility, useful to them as a promotional asset in the competitive and swift-moving K-pop market. I feel it does not make sense to assign JBJ95 as a subheading or continuation of the JBJ article because this new group will likely soon surpass JBJ in its longevity and thereby create confusion. To me, such a situation would be similar to absorbing the page on New Order into the page on Joy Division: however, Joy Division and New Order actually shared management and even songs, while JBJ95 is managed by different agencies and distributors than JBJ and have not so far used the previous group's work in their performance promotions. Finally, I feel the only difference to me between JBJ95 and the approved pages on other previous JBJ members Kim Dong Han and Jin Longguo is that neither of those members chose to use stage names that referred to the defunct group. I would be grateful if you would reconsider this rejection. If you are still firm in the rejection, I will wait and attempt to resubmit a separate page for them again, following subsequent releases as they become established as a clearly distinct and qualitatively different group. Thank you. (Dyodidyodigomdyodi (talk) 17:45, 26 November 2018 (UTC))

Questions About Declined Submission

Hi there, Legacypac!

I'm still fairly new to the wiki community so I hope this is the appropriate place to be posting this.

I saw that you declined the submission of the draft titled Draft:John Englehardt and I was curious if you'd be willing to offer any guidance for ways to improve this article? The decline submission notice states: This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). I've read over the guidelines on the notability of people numerous times but the language is fairly vague so I am still having troubles knowing how this subject doesn't specifically fit the qualifications. From my research they seem to have an equivalent publishing career to other wiki noted authors, so I was surprised that they were not yet included, but maybe I'm missing a specificity. I also was curious if the template I used to cite references has any impact on this? I used the cite web template for most of the references all though many were literary journals, magazines, news sources, and many that also have published print forms as well as their online counterparts. My last question is if it's not a problem with how I cited references and if this subject simply don't fit within the qualifications of a notable person, would that change once their novel is published or is that not a factor?

Thank you for your time, Legacypac! Really appreciate any input on the process.

Best, Katoclare2222 (talk) 22:03, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Premature submissions

Clearly, two-sentence stubs with only a single reference are not suitable to be moved beyond the draftspace. Can you consider the quality of the encyclopedia over racing to publish stuff? SounderBruce 07:13, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

The size of the article shouldn't matter once notability is established. What sense did it make that we were working on two different versions of the article in draftspace while nothing was in mainspace? Does that serve our readers well? Legacypac also added several sources to the article establishing its notability. FloridaArmy (talk) 07:15, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
It doesn't help readers when the article is so short that it will barely make a blip in SEO rankings. SounderBruce 07:19, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
It is perfectly fine to start with a sentence and build on it. I've been on this major street. Also I was adding material and got edit conflicted out. WP:NODEADLINE Legacypac (talk) 07:21, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
NODEADLINE seems to agree with my position that we shouldn't rush to publish drafts. There's plenty of time available in the draftspace, where things are theoretically left to be refined before being bumped up to the mainspace. SounderBruce 07:25, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
No deadline to expand - but you came to my talk to complain about 5 minutes after I moved the stub to mainspace to expand. It now has multiple sections, is linked from a large template that sits on a lot of pages, 19 refs and counting. If you think a page is too short try to expand it rather than saying I don't care about quality on my talkpage. Legacypac (talk) 07:33, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
This isn't an isolated case. How on earth is Main Seattle Post Office anywhere close to meeting WP:GNG or any of the notability criteria? You tell me. SounderBruce 07:38, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
So you have been proved wrong and you are still asking questions? The post office is a heritage building. See the source which discusses its importance in detail [2] Your PROD is incorrect [3] Surely there are more sources to expand that page. Legacypac (talk) 07:41, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

At Wikipedia you have to write in your own words, not copy in material. I left a note for the next reviewer that I did not find any copying in the Draft. We watch for that. Legacypac (talk) 12:55, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Greetings Legacypac. Thanks very much for your help with my drafts. Would you please consider moving this one to mainspace and merging it with Tennessee River Gorge. I believe it is independently notable but it would fit well with the existing article. If that article is ever expanded sufficiently it can always be broken back out. Thanks for your kind consideration. FloridaArmy (talk) 13:48, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft: Prince of los Cocuyos

You mentioned on my page that it has to little information and suggested expanding it under the author instead of just a page on the book.

Can you help me understand which parts can be improved on draft:Remitly as to not deem it advertising? This company offers a service similar to Western Union. We can provide a logo and more service information if it will help. Dhermreck0830 (talk) 18:50, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

Drafts with Same Names as Articles

There had been 12 of them earlier today. Now there are 3 of them. I see that you declined 1 of them. Did you deal with most of the rest of them? If so, thank you. If not, someone else dealt with them and should be thanked. ~~

In particular, I had left Draft: Unique Features because I thought I might be biased against it either because of an uncertain but likely COI, and the submitter's gross ignorance with the stupid [edit source]. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:32, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Removed "[edit source]" from the draft. CoolSkittle (talk) 19:02, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
I tackled that subcat. Most were same as redirects and I told the submitters to improve the redirect target Legacypac (talk) 22:20, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Hello, this is the author of the rejected draft JBJ95 again. I am a little confused, as I see the conversation above but it seems to be more of a workflow discussion between editors, and does not seem to concern my draft directly. I was hoping for a direct comment from Legacypac about my further advocacy for its publication. I certainly understand the going assumption that an article already exists for this subject and that such a categorization predates my submission, but I am hoping for either clarification about why my comments above do not prove otherwise, or confirmation that it has been absolutely dismissed as a separate article. I would like to know so that - if it is rejected outright and does not bear reconsideration - I can leave it aside for now and, as I said, wait until the group has more of an individual history to prove that it warrants a discreet and self-contained article. Thanks! (Dyodidyodigomdyodi (talk) 23:53, 26 November 2018 (UTC))

Have you declared any WP:COI? If you are connected to the group you have no business editong directly on the group. AfC can not accept the page because the topic already exists. You might expand the page that uses the old name like I suggested. Then you don't need to prove the notability of the new name. You might build a page over the redirect at the new name. You might also request the existing page be moved to the new name. The place to discuss this is the existing page talkpage not my talkpage because I have no particular expertise in K pop. Legacypac (talk) 00:03, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Hi Legacypac, thank you so much for your reply! No, there's no COI, I'm just a Canadian fan who cares too much, but I have no affiliation beyond that. I'm sorry I posted my query in the wrong place, but I'm grateful for you answering anyway. Apologies also that I'm not very versed in Wikipedia editing. I will look at the options you mentioned and only act again once I have a good handle on what I'm doing in terms of editing, as I think I might have caused a little less trouble if I had come at submitting this draft differently initially. Very best and much appreciated. (Dyodidyodigomdyodi (talk) 22:33, 28 November 2018 (UTC))

I moved two of the redirects that you had tagged for G6 into neverland while leaving them tagged for deletion. Go ahead and accept the drafts into article space.

Hello Sir,

I see that the page I created related to a book written by an independent writer about Kodava Heritage - 'The Vanishing Kodavas' was rejected. I have made some more edits to the page with hopefully proper references. Notable Subjects - Draft:Surya_Jhunjhnuwala

Hi there! Received your comments and edits on the Draft:Surya_Jhunjhnuwala. I saw your feedback on how these articles were not about him and mainly mentioning him. But i was just wondering as i wanted to write an article on him as an extension of his brother's existing wiki page - Girish Jhunjhnuwala. Similarly, both brothers own the hotel chains. Wondering why was wiki able to publish that even though this draft was deleted? Would this mean that the published page is notable enough? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roslah9022 (talkcontribs) 01:22, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

Hello!

I don't know what to do, so I will ask for help here. I moved 9Dragons to Draft:9Dragons to work on it a bit, considering the article's state was pretty....bad. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:9Dragons&oldid=871332961 And now I reworked things a bit, cleaned it up and added only sources I was able to find, but....I discovered the ones I used may be unreliable per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Sources#Unreliable_sources. Since I pretty much do not see what else can I add, should I nominate this for deletion per the rationale it will never be notable? I am confused now. Regards, Jovanmilic97 (talk) 12:49, 30 November 2018 (UTC).

Sure sounds like a plan. I don't do video game pages so I can't help you on the sources. Legacypac (talk) 12:51, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

Because it is spam. Deleted 4 times in the last several months from mainspace. Topic is not notable. Cryptocurrency is full of WP:COI editing. If you own any pooldax you have no business writing about it. Legacypac (talk) 07:36, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Granny Smith (video game) isn't in Webpage

The page called Granny Smith is not now in web search engine. I created a page 6 days ago. Not only this page, but also the page like AirAttack 2 - WW2 Airplanes Shooter that I created earlier is not appeared/posted. I'm asking you to appear them to articlespace in order to view them in search engine like Google. Thanks Video game task (talk) 14:14, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Two issues. Pages have to be approved through new page review first. Second we can't control Google's indexing after that. Legacypac (talk) 14:17, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

I added the review template for to these articles, but how long it takes to be encyclopedic form? The articles I hope may meet Wikipedia standard. Video game task (talk) 16:21, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Video game task, are you being paid or compensated to write these articles? These apps are barely notable and the articles are written like reviews, not attempts at encyclopedia articles. Your concern with how long they're until they're Google indexed strikes me as unusual. ♠PMC(talk) 16:29, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

I'm not going to revert you, especially considering the article is under DS, but please see footnote "B" and associated legal expert reference 4 here. You may want to reconsider. ☆ Bri (talk) 18:03, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

I saw footnote B and am aware of the discussion amoung experts. People generally know that cabinet members are in the line of succession, and because this is a special situation all the more reason to include this information on the article. Legacypac (talk) 18:05, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Deletion of the Draft:GameSessions article

Hi, is it possible to retrieve the content of my draft that was deleted?

I understand why it was deleted, although the intent was to write the article as objectively as possible. Would it be acceptable with more "reliable" and external sources? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marine GameSessions (talkcontribs) 09:10, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

Hello, recently you declined my draft for Hossam Dirar. What do I need to do if I want to continue adding reliable sources as references? Julia mji (talk) 23:25, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for reviewing my article on Alfa Anderson. You mentioned that the article was declined because band members do not have separate articles. Yet, eighteen members of Chic have their own personal articles, including the other lead singer, Norma Jean Wright. I believe that anyone who is interested in the history of Chic would be interested in learning more about Anderson individually, as she is the voice behind many great hits. As you can see from the references, she has been the subject of articles and books.

As to the fact that her name redirects to Chic, I assume this is because she does not have her own page.

I kindly request that you please reconsider this submission, as I believe she is as noteworthy as the other band members who have their own pages. Thank you again! Jupiter3000 (talk) 02:17, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

See WP:NBAND. If the title already exists and you don't want to take my advice you can change the redirect into an article yourself. Legacypac (talk) 03:09, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

I appreciate your input. I did not realize that the redirect represented an actual page and it was not necessary to create a draft. I will attempt to merge the draft to the article. Thank you for your kind help! Jupiter3000 (talk) 00:38, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
