- Just letting you know that wikipedia's non-free image policy does not allow the use of non-free images outside of the article namespace. Therefore, userboxes (which always appear in the user namespace) cannot contain non-free logos. See WP:NFCC. -Andrew c [talk] 14:18, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Yu-Gi-Oh page edits
Hello. I made a recent edit to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game page. While a computer could detect it as massive information removal, it was a legitimate edit that could place all the information into the simple lines, "1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 2". Please review the edit thoroughly before passing judgment. 74.194.224.252 (talk) 12:51, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- You removed alot of important content including refrences. I am a human editor and did check your edit before reverting it. Please do not remove content without a valid reason. --Lcawte (talk) 12:55, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
I don't understand how I removed references, but I'll review the player number description again. I apologize if my Wii removed a portion of the article. I didn't check that. Still, try to help me out here and talk to me like a respectful person. 74.194.224.252 (talk) 13:00, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Looking back, I did somehow remove a lot of text. Could you help me out by restoring my intentional edit? 74.194.224.252 (talk) 13:04, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I will do in a sec. Hold editing my talk for a sec, I've had to re-write this section like 3 times now :P The template on your Talk page was content removal... the player part is fine and I'll sort it in a sec. Lcawte (Message me). 13:07, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorted... Lcawte (Message me). 13:09, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Rollback
Hey; I think that the [rollback] right would help you in your anti-vandalism ways. I think you should request it... --Addihockey (t/c) 18:09, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Nah :P, I'm fine... Lcawte (Message me). 18:10, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Your rollback request
Hello Lcawte, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 18:52, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Lcawte (Message me). 18:53, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
To confirm that you have genuinely requested an account at the account creation toolserver tool, please respond here. Stifle (talk) 14:38, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed I did. What else do I have to say? --Lcawte (talk) 17:49, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- I wasnt sure if to respond here or on my talk, so I did both. I thought trying the Account Creation Tool would be a chance to help on wikipedia other than vandal fighting. --Lcawte (talk) 20:09, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Responding on your own page was fine; the new account queue is only checked sporadically. The reason you were asked to put a message there was that there is no connection between toolserver and wiki accounts, so we need to be sure that the same person is applying for the account.
- Unfortunately, on this occasion your application was unsuccessful. There is no particular shortage of account creation helpers at the moment, so we only take in users with a reasonable level of experience on the site. Please contact me or another tool admin in a few months and we'll be happy to reconsider your application. Stifle (talk) 08:13, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Signature
Please note that per WP:SIG#NT, transclusion of templates in signatures (i.e. those between {{ and }}) is not permitted. Please remove this from your signature. Stifle (talk) 14:38, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- I think i've only used it on my user talk, which I archive... Does the rule still apply? The only other place I've used it was once or twice in the help desk and got a bit of a grilling there for it. --Lcawte (talk) 17:49, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Re: Vandalism on Marshmallow Article
Hi Lcawte,
I'm so sorry that you considered my addition to be vandalism. That was not my intent. At the time that I added the information about marshmallow mixes, our Woodland Fairy Acres article had been accepted and published by Wikipedia. When our article was subsequently deleted, I went back to the Marshmallow article to delete the reference to the mixes and the link to our article, but it had already been removed.
I honestly had no idea that it would be considered vandalism. Wikipedia had already allowed previous contributors to include various brands of marshmallows with links to the published articles. I honestly considered commercially available marshmallow mix brands to be as informative as commercially available marshmallow brands to your readership. The statement included 2 other brands with links to their published Wikipedia articles as well, so as to be informative and not promoting of 1 company (i.e., ours).
At any rate, I just wanted to let you know of my true intention. In our being a specialty foods business our customers are "foodies" (i.e., people who love food, new food products, new food trends, etc.). Since the statement I included would be informative to "foodies" and is factual, it didn't dawn on me that it wouldn't be informative or a fun fact to your readership. I just thought that if someone was interested in marshmallows, then they would get a kick out of knowing that marshmallow mixes exist too! ;-)
My apologies...

Brazil
Hello! Please, I need your help to deal with an issue that has appeared in the article about Brazil. See it in here. Thank you very much. - --Lecen (talk) 19:05, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
- I will make a brief summary of the problem: I started to rewrite the section “History” in the article on Brazil. The idea was to improve the text changing the old citations based on websites for books written by several renowned historians. I had already rewritten three subsections without having received complains from other users. In the fourth subsection that deals with the reign of Emperor Pedro II, I received serious complains from user Opinoso who made baseless personal accusations against me for no reason. I sent him a private message asking him to get into a peaceful resolution to the matter, but he simply ignored me and kept with the accusations, attacks and ironic remarks towards me. After that he added untrue information in the subsection. And even more serious: he was not faithful to his own sources and created information that did not exist in the sources, as I managed to prove in the discussion page.

Hi there, I noticed you reverted my edits on the Joachim Peiper article. As I indicated in the edit summary, I was correcting what I assumed to be a typo on the part of the editor who added the book quote. Was I wrong? Thanks, WordyGirl90 01:11, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- I see you're a vandal reverter, so is it possible my edit looked like vandalism on the recent changes list? WordyGirl90 01:20, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, I dont know what happened there, I dont even remember undoing that, I'll check my other contribs just incase there is a virus on my PC. --Lcawte (Message me). 19:09, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hm, I dont see why I would of reverted that, probally just a wierd tag that caught my eye on the Recent Changes. They are both Valid spellings, so it doesnt really matter... Lets go with what WP:AWB says --Lcawte (Message me). 19:09, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've reverted it back, because according to Merriam-Webster and dictionary.com, "battalion" is the correct spelling. Best wishes, WordyGirl90 22:04, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Author blanking own article
Hi. You recently posted a note to User talk:Heberle2 because the editor had blanked an article of his/her own making which had been nominated for speedy deletion. An author is actually allowed to do that as long as no other editor has contributed "meaningful contents" to the article. Favonian (talk) 14:36, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi Lcawte,
I've started to clean up the Adopters' list. You appear to appear to have been editing only sporadically in the last months. I wonder if you're still interested in adopting new users. If you're not interested any more, would you mind removing yourself? Thank you and happy editing, Snowolf How can I help? 12:06, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Adopt-a-user reminder
Hello, I have completed a general cleanup of the adopter information page for the adopt-a-user project, located here. During my cleanup, I have removed several inactive and retired users. In order to provide interested adoptees with an easy location to find adopters, it is essential that the page be up-to-date with the latest information possible. Thus:
- If you are no longer interested in being an adopter, please remove yourself from the list.
- If you are still interested, please check the list to see if any information needs to be updated or added - especially your availability. Thank you.
- You are receiving this message because you are listed as an adopter here.
