Replaceable fair use File:Bonnie Loo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bonnie Loo.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Blurred Lines 12:20, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Journey Timeline

[edit]

I have reverted several attempted edits to the Journey timeline over the past few weeks, until now by unregistered users. If you were the unregistered user, thank you for registering.

Your attempted change to the timeline is clearly factual and clearly in good faith. The reason I have reverted it is that the existing format, in which band members credited with more than one instrument are listed twice, is the result of consensus by other editors.

In my opinion the timeline should list such players twice so that readers can see how the individual instruments were played over time. But mine is not the only opinion that matters. Those of the other editors matter. Yours matters too. So please, join the discussion. Start a new section in the Journey Talk page on this topic, and attempt to sway consensus. Be willing to be swayed yourself. And please read edit summaries whenever your edits are undone or reverted.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Non-free rationale for File:1965 Movie Poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:1965 Movie Poster.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Proposed deletion of Poten

[edit]

The article Poten has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Never charted, no coverage in article that amounts to anything, nothing but a record and a few TV appearances.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:MakeItUpSamTsui.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:MakeItUpSamTsui.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 01:37, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on HubbaBubbas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. LMX97, please don't write all SNH48 sister group names (BEJ, GNZ, others) in "Associated acts" part on SNH48 sister group article, but only SNH48 Group. Because it was "franchise" who was more and more growing like AKB48 Group. --Erik Fastman (talk) 04:07, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Singaporean shows

[edit]

Hi LMX97,

I'm also like watching Singaporean TV shows but I don't find any Wikipedia Articles here of the show I want. Could I request you to create some articles: S-pop! Sing! (SPOP 听我唱), GeTai Challenge (歌台星力量), and the second season (歌台星力量-兴旺发), And some other Singaporean shows from the past such as National Science Challenge or any other quiz Singaporean shows too? I just ask for some help and requests, and i'm doing the same thing as well. In return, i'll improve the articles for better consistencies (I did some improvement works for Project SuperStar and Campus SuperStar). Thanks for helping! (203.78.15.149 (talk) 07:45, 22 June 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Hi, I almost forgot, there are sites called toggle.sg (Toggle) and irisxi.com (Iris Media) that had all the episodes from the past Singaporean shows and that will give you great resources in the summaries and article creations. Please reply ASAP. Thanks! (203.78.15.149 (talk) 09:09, 22 June 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Please quickly reply

[edit]

Hello again LMX97,

I noticed that you have saw the request but had yet to reply to me. I noted about your talent on creating Singaporean articles and you have yet to do so on my request. I'm sending this section to remind again on replying the article as soon as possible. Thanks! (203.78.15.149 (talk) 08:12, 30 June 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Hi 203.78.15.149, as I may not always be free, I do not always have the time to create more Singapore-related articles. I will most likely start working on Spop Sing's article in one week's time. Thanks! (LMX97 (talk) 09:12, 30 June 2018 (UTC))[reply]

[edit]

Hi LMX97,

Could you help me as well? Thanks!

Hello LMX97,

I had since working hard on writing and editing Singaporean-releated articles, and I'm currently working on S-Pop Sing! and the second GeTai Challenge. But due to limited manpower, I will like you to help me on counter-checking my articles and edits. I hope you reply as soon as possible. (Sculture65 (talk) 10:39, 21 July 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Hi Sculture65, I am starting to get busy again so I may not have the time to help in creating MasterChef Singapore. I have also tried to make the necessary edits on Draft:S-Pop Sing! but there is not enough information at this point of time. Thanks. --LMX97 (talk) 07:47, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hey LMX97, I had finally got my SPOP Sing! article accepted, and because the competition has begin since last week, I might be busy on some time, and I'm short on manpower at the time being for maintenance of my articles. Notice

The file File:3688 Original Soundtrack Album Cover.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free movie album cover being used in WP:DECORATIVE manner in 3688#Soundtrack. Non-free cover art for movie soundtrack albums can be used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox or at the top of stand-alone articles about album in question, but they are pretty much never allowed to be used in subsections of articles about the corresponding film per WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFC#cite_note-3 or WP:FILMSCORE, unless the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary to provide the context required for non-free use. That's not the case with this file, so there's no way to justify its non-free use per WP:NFCCP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:44, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Singapore coronavirus cases list

Hi, I was wondering what you would do with Template:2019–20_coronavirus_pandemic_data/Singapore_medical_cases since it will be removed from Wikipedia soon?
