Hi! My name is Darylgolden. I'm mainly a WP:GNOME, focusing mainly on anti-vandalism and typos. I used to review AfC articles and help at #wikipedia-en-helpconnect; you can usually find me at the Discord now. I'm relatively inactive these days, but I'm still keeping up and lurking within the community. If you have a message for me, please post it on my talk page.
Hello Darylgolden.Recently you have signed my guestbook! Thank you very much for signing my guestbook. Cheers.--Pratyya(Hello!) 12:29, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

The Original Barnstar
Thanks so much for all your contributions. You do a lot of the work that most of us wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, and despite you being a bit less active now than before, the work you do is still highly appreciated. Cheers, and have a happy new year! --L235 (talk) Ping when replying 06:23, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week for embodying the true characteristics of an "editor of the week". Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)
I nominate Darylgolden as Editor of the Week for their great work in articles for creation and other maintenance or cleanup-related behind-the-scenes dredge duty. Darylgolden is a very consistent AfC reviewer, and I haven't really found a review I strongly disagree with yet. Darylgolden also goes deep on their reviews - not just snatching the easy fast declines for a higher edit count. Darylgolden takes the time to check sources and has a good accept-to-decline ratio. Darylgolden also does heaps of other miscellaneous gnome-y work, such as maintain persondata templates- something most editors don't dare to touch with a ten-foot pole. Darylgolden is really an all-around great editor.
You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:
{{subst:Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week/Recipient user box}}
A self-described "freelance editor" doing a variety of tasks depending on what he feels like doing. Usually it will consist of cleanup-related behind-the-scenes dredge duty. A diligent and probing AfC reviewer.
Most of the time you beat me to undoing vandalism, and that's a great thing :). Keep up your excellent work! McSqueegee (talk) 01:07, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for being my first visitor outside of my class to view and edit my article about Phyllis M. Ryan! Though this might seem like an insignificant thing to be thanked for, you are the first step toward me becoming integrated in the Wikipedia community. So cheers! - GrandpaFly (talk) 15:40, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
