thanks for the support on the Boabom issue.
Still, no matter how many times I edit it, they keep changing it back and deleting the "discussion" page wich is what upsets me the most. Since I don't want to continue on an endless edit war, and since I'm a relative newbie to editing, I'd like you to suggest what I can do next.

Sycthe the bounty hunter
Dear Adam,
I request as the author of Scythe the bounty hunter not be deleted. Alot of fans of the series need information on the topic, I plan to add more quotations and concept art of the series, information on the authors and writers. Deleting this article is censorship, which is a petty crime.

A Real Legitimate Reason for Kappa Alpha Psi deletion from Wikipedia
To: Kungfuadam
From :Erayman64
I went to check on the search on the Wikipedia article for Kappa Alpha Psi yesterday on May 3, 2006 for any updates. I was very displeased that this article deleted by you on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006.
Before I jump info conclusions if this was deleted due to vandalism,(rival fraternity or hater) or article deletion was due copyright problems that is was entered incorrectly. I checked into who did deleted this article which I found out it was deleted by you, Kungfudam. Of all the articles that was deleted on May 2nd by you, I went over more than five times and I found out that Kappa Alpha Psi was not on this list for reason for deletion? Why was that? was this and oversight I presumed?
Before I go into the reasons why I am trying to find out why this article was deleted if it was legitimate or not. I want to let you know that I am a member of Kapppa Alpha Psi and still am a active member through alumni chapter(East St. Louis Alumni) since pledging in this great fraternity for sixteen years.
I am disturbed why Kappa Alpha Psi was deleted, but the other eight NPHC African-American fraternities and sororities articles was not deleted, changed, or interfered with. In researching this, I found out since I discovered the website Wikipedia last year, which I enjoyed and check everyday and been I greatest fan and contributor. This was not the first time Kappa Alpha Psi was deleted due to copyright reasons since last year.
If this was deleted due to reasons coming from a order from National Headquarters from our present Grand Polemarch or Executive Secretary of Kappa Alpha Psi to delete the article I can understand this, or this is a plagiarizism issue from another Kappa Alpha Psi website that copied to Wikipedia to avoid legal problem I can also understand. But if you are not a member of Kappa Alpha Psi or not putting out the reason this article was deleted, I and other fraternity brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi who use the internet and go into Wikipedia often and find out why our beloved fraternity was deleted out of your website is of great concern.
There are many articles in Wikipedia regarding other fraternities and sororities, White and Black in the United States that was not disturbed or deleted. Whether or not you pledged in college and if someone deleted your organization from this website, you would want to find what was the reason for deletion and what step to that to get your organization back to Wikipedia without violating no copyright issues.
If any brother from Kappa Alpha Psi read this discussion I typed and I hope they reply back and add on this discussion or refer this mattter of deletion to National Headquarters,Wikipedia, or even yourself to get a legitimate ariticle about Kappa Alpha Psi that does not violate any copyright from other Kappa Alpha Psi websites. I agreed after reading the other NPHC websites fraternities and sororities, Kappa Alpha Psi need to enter a better article to explain our history, our objectives and programs, and famous members who pledge our fraterntiy to others interested in pledging Kappa Alpha Psi in college or pledging through graduate chapters.
I hope you, Kungfuadam will read this a soon a possible and reply back with an answer to resolve this to put Kappa Alpha Psi back to Wikipedia the RIGHT way and any other Nupe who pledge K-A-Psi, will also typed him to get this corrected. I or any other Kappa brother who are interested in creating a article the right way without giving out no secret or private information from this secret Greek letter society who can contribute without copying information from other Kappa Alpha websites.
Erayman64 Spring 1990 Phi Nu Phi, Yo Baby Yo!

thales theorem
Hi Kungfuadam,
Yesterday I have edited the Thales theorem entry, in order to simplify the proof I found there. Today I visited it again in order to clarify the argument I introduced, and so I edited my own version in the history of the entry, in order to comunicate you afterwards and ask you for your opinion. I didn't know that saving my changes would again revert the current version of the entry. I do not want to impose anything but could you kindly tell me what is wrong with my version?
best regards,
- There is no problem with this version.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 14:53, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

argh, page-move conflict
It seems that we had a page-move conflict, lol. Here's what I think happened:
- Yolanda on Yokohamas (talk · contribs) moved Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines and its talk page.
- The vandal was blocked, and I reverted both moves.
- You deleted Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines right after I reverted the move, so although it appears in the deletion log that you only deleted the redirect, you actually deleted the entire history.
- When you tried reverting the vandal's move (which was already reverted), you moved the redirect remnant to where the proper page should be.
I think that this could have been prevented by reverting the move first rather than deleting the created redirect. That way, if we get the "deletion required" message, we can prevent accidental deletions. Anyways, I think I've fixed everything. That's why page-move vandals can be really annoying! --Ixfd64 00:18, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I was having a little problems with reverting and stuff. Thanks for the tip.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 00:21, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Main page protection
I think you may have meant to sprotect the main page, not fully protect it. The issue is a user making throw-away accounts to vandalize the history with edit summaries revealing an admin's personal information, so an sprotect keeps him or her away as he or she uses new accounts. Cowman109Talk 00:33, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Speaking of the vandal, it seems his provider has been announced at Talk:Gerald Ford#Posting Personal Information Into Edit Summary by a new user with 3 edits. I'm not sure of the validity of that, but I just thought I'd bring it to your attention since you seem to be involved in containing the situation. Cowman109Talk 00:54, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I think this vandal "matures" accounts to use. I am not sure that a sprotect protects against this. They create accounts and don't edit for awhile, so it doesn't get greylisted (ie., semi-protects don't work agains them)--Kungfu Adam (talk) 03:48, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Fullmetal Alchemist vandalism
Hi, I noticed that you reverted an anonymous contributor multiple times on Fullmetal Alchemist. However... that anon was only a small part of a large number of vandalisms! Terminated
Sir I didn't "vandalize" the page. I simply changed the status of a James Bond villian to what most Bond villians status to standardize the status of the villians. I'm trying to say that if one page says "deceased" and another says "terminated" and yet another says something like "dead" people may wonder what the status of all these villians are. -- Ledzeppelin321295 23:13, 8 May 2006 (UTC) ledzeppelin321295 7:13 5/8/06
Abbe Land
Hi, today you unprotected Abbe Land. I know it is a small and insignificant site, but there has been a long history of vandalism there. The vandal is nuts, and I can't help but assume he will be back within the week. You might notice at Tifego(t) or the history page of Abbe Land that this guy has repeatedly returned. He doesn't have an account, and uses multiple IP's, which is why it was protected. I was hoping there would be a way to protect it for an extended period of time, as our last battle was just a few days ago. Avogel 02:32, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- It was protected for a few days. We don't want pages protected for very long.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 11:40, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- He's back already, with a new IP. I sent the first warning, an administrator reverted the edit. But this will go on and on and on and will involve requesting multiple IP's to be blocked... Avogel 21:12, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

User:Riverfront block
I've recently been dealing with complaints from a school who's being caught by User:Riverfront's autoblock; lifting the IP autoblock doesn't seem to help, which is a bit odd.
While I was digging around, I noticed that you indefinitely blocked him for a single act of vandalism, which seems a bit more hardline than I'd have done myself; I've thought about it for a bit, and decided to lift the block. The admin there has said that the students involved with the original posting won't be able to post again (presumably through supervision at their end); if we need to we can always reblock. As the user's been blocked for four or five days now, it doesn't feel like we're "letting him off"; the time elapsed is a decent length of a block for clear vandalism.
Feel free to call down fire and brimstone on my head if he revandalises :-) Shimgray | talk | 00:03, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see what he has done, since the edit has been deleted, so I imagine, that this was one of the phone number vandals. It was probably a throw-away account, so it is ok to unblock him, he will never know the difference.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 00:06, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

br line breaks (out of curiosity)
Hi Kungfuadam - saw you'd edited some of these. They used to be just "br" between triangular brackets, then we were told they had to have a slash "br/", and now there's a space as well "br /". Yet "br" still works perfectly well without all these tedious extras. Why are they getting ever more complicated to type out, and what and when will be the next addition? - Thanks, MPF 10:09, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, there is an easier way to do a break than that. Just put a space between the lines, and it will give you a break. I don't remember doing this, perhaps the Auto Wiki Browser did it for me when I was cleaning up some articles.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 10:39, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it was an AWB edit. A blank like wouldn't work in this case, as it is a taxon list in a taxobox (at fern); the other alternative (bulleting them with a * at the start) also isn't suitable as it doesn't format well inside a taxobox - MPF 10:56, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. If the breaks don't work out right now, feel free to revert it. Perhaps the AWB people should know about it if it is formatting tags incorrectly.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 10:57, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem - it doesn't worry me, I'm just curious as to why the formatting change "br" to "br /" is felt necessary (and whether I should be taking it on myself when using line breaks), and hoped you might know. Any idea of a better place to ask? - MPF 11:04, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

- Looks like there's something about it there already Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser#Strange RegEx Behavior in Version 2400; though it and the onward link there don't fully explain the reasoning, it appears to be something to do with some browsers not formatting "br" alone properly - MPF 11:15, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Bring it up at Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser. Thanks!--Kungfu Adam (talk) 11:06, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for supporting/objecting/tropicanising me in my request for Adminship. Although I wasn't promoted to admin status, with a final vote count of 14/27/12, I am very happy with the response I received from my fellow Wikipedians. Hopefully I will re-apply soon and try again for the mop. Thanks again, Highway Rainbow Sneakers
Indefinite blocking
I am concerned about the indefinite block you imposed on Brighton58 (talk · contribs). According to our blocking policy, vandals (whether IPs or other) should only be blocked for 1 month maximum. If you feel that an indefinite block needs to be instituted, please discuss it further at the Administrators' noticeboard or related pages. I advise you to shorten your block to the specified time, as it is an abuse of Admin powers. And in the future, please be conservative with blocks (they should only be used as a last resort). Always warn the vandal first (eg {{bv}}), then you block (there is no evidence that you even tried to talk with the editor). Oran e (t) (c) (e) 20:29, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I unblocked him.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 22:26, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- I apologised if my post was misleading. I certainly wasn't asking that you unblock Brighton58 (talk · contribs); she deserved to be blocked. I was only concerned with the length of time (I would have shortened it to a week or two...or four). Anyway, its too late to reblock :(. See you around. Oran e (t) (c) (e) 22:27, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

thank you for unblocking me. i don't know who you are, but you seem to be one of the "sane" people. Scientizzle & Allen3 keep on deleting my postings about FUCT™ & Erik Brunetti. I do not understand why, simply for the reason that I live and work out of the office in Los Angeles and know exactly what the hell is going on here. I would really like to know what these dudes know about the company, because if I see them in person, i WILL smack them. Isn't this a source of information? Please help me out here before I completly loose faith in the website. Thank you.
FUCT
Thank you for taking my side.
On a site where I have probably made more enemies in an hour than in one night, when I interect with humans face to face, I was just wondering what made you "unblock" me?
Well, contrary to what THEY all might think, i am NOT a frustrated acne-clad english teenager who venerates FUCT.
I am actually a 5'8 brunette from Montreal that has modelled for the company in the past.
How can I thank you?
Re: Your block of Rogers12345
Hey, Adam! One of the first things I do when checking vandals is look at the talk page; if it's a school IP (and, a lot of them are), I will almost invariably give it a short block. Usually the only exception will be if the IP has been blocked before with no complaints. :) RadioKirk talk to me 12:55, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I've noticed that you've redirected a category marked for speedy deletion. (Category:Histrocially Irish-American colleges) In fact, category redirects don't work (at least this way), for example my subpage put in the redirected category doesn't show up in the target category. rec.sport.pro-wrestling
Please do not revert rec.sport.pro-wrestling back to the version placed there by Chadbryant. See the Archived talk page before you revert this article again. I am going to change your changes (say that three times fast), but for no malicious reasons; rather, I am going to do so because the consensus -- both from Wikipedia officials and users alike -- was that the version placed by Mr. Bryant is inaccurate, offensive, personal opinion, trolling and contains some mild personal attacks.
Granted, the fact that I just registered a name may cause some suspicion, and I apologize if that is the case. However, I am not here to troll, spam, flood or anything else. I am simply here to edit Wikipedia entries, with the additional purpose of preventing Mr. Bryant from placing his own slanted view into the article. --They Call Him Flipper 02:14, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Chadbryant has established a long history of railing against the consensus agreed upon by editors of the rec.sport.pro-wrestling article. Chadbryant has repeatedly demonstrated a tendency to edit in bad faith, driven by an obsessive desire to realize his self-serving agenda here on Wikipedia. Linden Arden 18:40, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Deleted Dirty Boy Video
Hello Adam,
I am new to Wikipedia, but do not understand why you deleted the Dirty Boy Video entry.
It is in the same vein as many other listings, including many who lack the artistic merit and industry recognition that Dirty Boy Video has.
For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol_Media http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dill_Media http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Cody http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucas_Entertainment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treasure_Island_Media
Thanks for your time! I look forward to your response.

Hello. I just removed a large section of an article marked as over 44k in length and placed it as a new article under "Child Abuse In America." You deleted it while I was editing/placing it there. It IS from an ourside source, but I find MANY links to the issue in article here that have no wiki link. Is this wrong? I know the authors of the study from USC that I'm using and have permission. I have your talk page watched as asked. cpswarrior 03:07, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, the text you posted was a copy and paste from here [3]. We cannot accept copyright violation. If you would, tell where the original article is (is it on Wiki?), so I can delete that text as well.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 03:10, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- well, I am not sure where the comment came from I don't see it here, and I am confused by that. Anyway, there was no original article (on wiki) other than the one you deleted. I was searching google, off-wiki, and ended up here. I found mention of history of abuse with no page so I added it-or tried too. In researching articles on Child Abuse, I found mention of history and a page (here on wiki) with the stats and numbers of abuses, ect. but no article with the actual history. My mother is a co-author of the study done at USC-(Princeton used HER study in doing theirs, and so they shared data with her team there and at Vanderbilt University) and that I WAS copying and I have her permission. Is this wrong? How? How do I show permission so people don't think it is a copyright violation? Man can I ramble or what? I DO appreciatre the help and do NOT want to be deleted. cpswarrior 03:14, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Please review WP:CP about the copyright policy. Perhaps you can bring up this in the talk there, because I can't find where you can get your own work approved to be able to put on Wikipedia. I know it's there somewhere, but I have searched for twenty minutes.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 10:38, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

vandalism?
I have no idea who you are but I have never vandalised anything on wikipedia, in fact I spend a lot of time improving articles about Vietnam and China. The last edit I made I removed the word 'the' before the proper noun 'South Vietnam', so please get your facts straight before you threaten people with banning. Cripipper 22:13, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Use your brain
Listen my friend, if you stopped to check my contribution history on wikipedia you would see that I have never vandalised anything; rather I spend a lot of time improving articles and reverting vandalism. Why would I vandalise an article that I give up time to undo the vandalism of others for? I am using someone else's mac that is not Unicode compliant, so that may explain why when I deleted one word something weird happened, but I suggest in future you get your facts straight before you go around threatening people with banning.
And that 'the' still needs deleted before the words 'South Vietnam' near the end of the introduction. Cripipper 22:24, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:51, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

It seems clear to me that this article needs protection, given the torrent of vandalism that has occurred in the last 24 hours. I do not know what your reasons were for removing protection, I assume, in good faith, that you felt it was justified. But, this is a featured article, and it clearly has become a target for hoodlums. Thanks for your help. --Charles 16:32, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I removed the protection because I placed the protection in the first place. Vandalism is normal to the Featured Article, and it is usually reverted quickly. It is not encouraged to keep the featured article protected unless absolutely necessary.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 17:36, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, that is valid. What is the reasoning behind not keeping featured articles under protection? I'm still getting my bearings here, so any information is useful. I suppose I was just angry at what I saw as damage to a very good article. Thanks for your time. --Charles 02:50, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

- This is a very complicated issue, and I am looking at it third party (probably a good thing). I think that the User:Damac (is that his name?) was given advice to lay off this other user and didn't. You could first post on the Administrator's Notice Board (WP:ANI) explaining the situation where administrators more familiar with conflict resolution than I can comment. With all due respect, it seemed like a bunch of geeks voted my article down-with very little commentary other than 'no'. I didn't see one comment that appeared to be from a well rounded baseball fan. What gives? Why would I bother posting anything else? What's the appeal process? how can I modify the article to get it through?

Turns out an editor who kindly reverted some user page vandalism went a bit too far and reverted beyond when I added the userbox. Now I've noticed I've got the userbox again :-) —Whouk (talk) 15:19, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

KUNG FU RULES!
I KNOW KUNG FU
Thanks for the protection there. It was getting annoying. DGX 17:51, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Gun II
Hello,
I started the Gun II page, and you deleted it without leaving a reason (to my knowledge) or asking for any further information before deletion. May I ask why?
Thanks. ClintFord 18:11, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure what page you are talking about. A page by the title of Gun II has never been created.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 18:33, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it was. I created it, and it's missing now. I checked the Wiki Deletion Log, and this came up:
- 12:35, 30 May 2006 Kungfuadam deleted "GUN II" (closing prod 25 May 2006)
- Might you have deleted accidentally? ClintFord 18:44, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- It wasn't an accident. It was proposed for deletion, and it went uncontested for five days. This is the Proposed deletion policy. Look at WP:PROD--Kungfu Adam (talk) 18:49, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I never received any notification of any deletion proposal, lest I would have contested. Is there any way to find the original proposal and/or artical, or has it just been sent to oblivion? ClintFord 18:59, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I undeleted it and noted in the talk that it was previously sent to prod. This won't stop it from being sent to Articles for deletion.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 19:13, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

I didn't know who to contact so I decided you, the reason why this article is becoming one of the most vandalized articles. In the intro sentence it says World of... is commonly abbreviated WoW. That must be the reason so maybe if someone could remove that it wouldn't cause so much disruption.... --Mahogany 19:12, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I put it on a counter-vandalism bot watchlist. That way the RC Patrollers can catch vandalism more easily.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 19:16, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Myself I'm always checking it with my watchlist --Mahogany 19:37, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Honduras
Do you know anything about the breakdown of Honduras? Are there regions, states, sections, departments, or just cities? I need to know like tomorrow but I thought I would leave a comment.
- Did you try the reference desk? Did you try Honduras?--Kungfu Adam (talk) 21:23, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
